Imagine a futuristic North America destroyed by earthquakes, hurricanes, and floods. Only the mainland would survive, and only survive on the little materials left from the devastation. The kids are now breadwinners, workers, or (if lucky), the ones who live in luxury, near the capitol of the remaining country that we now call “Panem.”
Many don’t live that long.
Twenty-three 12-18 year olds will die certainly in one year, and only because of one competition that forces them to fight against each other to survive. Only one can make it to the end, gaining lifelong honor, and food for their city and themselves. Only one will be able to see their families again.

Upper Districts
District One (1 sub-board) Nearly all of the Capitol's luxury items are made in District One. The people of this district are rarely hungry, and they train their children to compete in the Hunger Games. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Two (1 sub-board) District Two speacializes in medicine; their doctors are some of the best in the country. Their techniques are passed on to the Capitol's own doctors. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Three (1 sub-board) Factories, manufacturing, technology; that's all District Three. This district is large and dotted with the high-tech factories; the only issue is that pollution can sometimes be rather bad. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Four (1 sub-board) The citizens of District Four are all serious fishers; give them a fishing pole and they'll come back with a truckload of fish. Most of this food is shipped to the Capitol; but they have more than enough left for themselves. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Five (1 sub-board) Animals are found abundantly in District Five; the residents specialize in breeding and selling them. They are born with a deep understanding of wildlife. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Six (1 sub-board) District Six are the scientists of the country; discovering new remedies, uncovering explanations for the country's problems; it's all them. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Seven If you happened to come across District Seven, you would come across construction to the highest extent. These citizens are good with a hammer and nails. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Eight Cotton is grown in District Eight, and sheep are raised. Why? Because these people are weavers, and speacialize in producing clothing for the Capitol. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Nine District Nine are hunters, but they are only permitted to hunt strictly within their district limits. Anywhere else is prohibited. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Ten District Ten citizens love mathematics, and is the only district besides the Capitol that interact with foreign countries, through trade and negotiation. Their district lies on what was once called the Missisippi River, and boats carrying goods traverse it. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Eleven District Eleven is entirely agricultural, dotted with orchards, feilds, and the like. Most of the food grown is given to the Capitol. Moderator: -..Rue..-
District Twelve (3 sub-boards) The last and final district, Twelve, are coal miners. Their district is normally the hungriest, but they get by. The coal they mine is mostly given to the Capitol as directed.
District Thirteen Ruins There used to be a thirteenth district in Panem, but due to a rebellion that aroused, it was destroyed. Runaways, wanderers, and avoxes are usually the only people who see these ruins, besides Capitol representatives that are sent to make sure everything is running smoothly... Moderator: -..Rue..-
The Open Forest Between all the districts, open forest and land can be found. It is forbidden to go here, but many a time you can spot a wanderer, runaway, or even just a District citizen up to no good here. Moderator: -..Rue..-
The Ocean Past District Twelve, and even the ruins of District Thirteen the vast Atlantic Ocean can be found. Be careful though; if you come here, there's a rather large chance you won't be able to get back. Moderator: -..Rue..-
