No New Posts Cornucopia

Located in the midst of a small clearing, the Cornucopia is truly an impressive sight. Towering over the tributes and glittering silver in the sunlight, this Cornucopia greatly resembles the shape of its namesake, with a wide mouth standing twenty feet tall and a tail that extends even further into the sky. At a glance, the clearing looks calm and tranquil, giving no hint, sign, or otherwise of the carnage that will eventually occur.

No New Posts Wheat Field

To the west of the Cornucopia lies a sprawling expanse of land filled with nothing but golden wheat stalks for as far as the eye can see. Upon closer inspection, one might find that the plants tower over many of the tributes themselves, providing an excellent form of natural camouflage for whomever and whatever dares to venture within.

No New Posts Caves

Tributes who venture to the outskirts of the Arena will find themselves at the caves, one of the most northern areas. Tributes who seek out a place to hide should take caution. The tunnels themselves are dark and dreary, pitch black in most parts, and those who venture into them must watch their step unless they want to get lost forever.

No New Posts Meadow

Perhaps the most pleasant location in the Arena, the meadow is full of bright, blooming wildflowers and long grasses. If not for the realization that this is the Hunger Games, you might even find the area calm and peaceful. Locked deep within the forest, trekking through the woods is your payment for reaching the Arena’s most beautiful area, and one can only hope that its beauty signals a departure from danger.

No New Posts Lake

Northeast of the Cornucopia lies an area that most might consider a godsend - the lake. Although its dark waters might bring hope and guard against death by dehydration, tributes will be hard-pressed to see a few feet into its murky waters without wondering what dangers lie beneath. The shore always seems safe, but one would be silly to assume that any part of this Arena is safe.

No New Posts Streams

The streams that funnel out from the northeastern lake spread both towards the Cornucopia and farther east towards the edge of the Arena. The streams flow gently, with a bountiful supply of fish and water that should be clean to drink with some added purification.

No New Posts Forest

By far the largest section of the arena, the forest is truly massive, stretching from the northernmost section of the arena all the way down to the southern tip. Though it looks unassuming at first, with sunlight dappling the ground through the leaves and branches swaying in the wind, the sheer expanse of the woodlands alone have the potential to hold many surprises both good and bad.
