Tuesday afternoon, bored as shit. One thing they never tell you about buying-slash-stealing a giant penthouse is that it's going to be empty and lonely and awful about 70% of the time.
The other 30%? Easy, party time. It's just the lull that's mad depressing.
Wolf's fucked off somewhere and that's fine, the less I know about that kid the better. Sutton's long dead, Hazel's even deader, Sterling's probably as good as dead. I'd rather chew my own hand off than spend an afternoon with Bamber.
I even tried to walk by Wis' a couple times, but he was doing something boring like working. Loser.
That just leaves the world's #1 zombie sister.
I'm pretty sure she's either forgiven me for stealing her bathtub that one time, or that she just never noticed. Probably the second one. Lys always knew how to party - it's her one redeeming quality, because Lord knows it's not answering her phone.
See, Lysander does this really fun quirky thing where she just completely drops off the grid for a few weeks at a time. This is definitely one of those times, because instead of waiting for her to pick up her phone on the fifteenth try, I just have to wait for her to open her front door on the third try. (I lean on the doorbell all three times, just pushing it down and letting it ring out to maximize the annoying factor. She deserves it, probably.)
As soon as that wood cracks open I'm barging my way in, brushing past her and heading straight to the bar in the sitting room that she's so lovingly crafted. Loneliness craves company, sis.
“So what’ll it be- vodka? Tequila?”
She doesn’t respond, and I didn't really come over here to be ignored, so I whirl around to look a bit closer at her. And oh hoh yikesss. Gonna need something stronger. I reach into my jacket.
“You wanna do a line?”
