EXPANDED ANSWERS:
• Remains are returned to the families in their home district
• Remains are buried at an on site Colosseum graveyard
• Remains are cremated and returned to the families in their home district
• Remains are cremated and put into a storage closet because no one is sure what to do with them; the ashes are found in modern day and turned over to the Hunger Games Museum, who create a memorial columbarium (possibly traveling or district-based, so the ashes could return to home districts in present day)
• Remains are cremated and scattered onto the sand floor of the original Hunger Games Colosseum where the tributes died (which will continue to be reused as the Retro arena); names and districts of fallen tributes are carved into the stones of the arena wall
These poll results will be used to make an official decision.
Please note that there will be an inevitable switch to shipping tribute remains back to their home districts/families in the (near-ish) future, as is done in present day. This will be a small, special piece of history specific to the first handful of Retro tributes, lasting only as long as the Colosseum is utilized as the arena (or less, depending on IC plottage y'all might come up with).
Please also note that official District memorial graveyards specifically for tributes are not allowed (officially or unofficially), due to the Capitol not wanting tributes portrayed as martyrs. If remains are returned home they are only allowed to be buried in community or family grave sites.
