6th Games Ideas Submission

Anyone is welcome to submit ideas for the aesthetics of the 6th Arena, whether or not they have an interest in being a Junior GM. The concept for the 6th Arena will focus on the use of theater in executions that occurred at the Colosseum:

Sylvae or recreations of natural scenes were also held in the arena. Painters, technicians and architects would construct a simulation of a forest with real trees and bushes planted in the arena's floor, and animals would then be introduced. Such scenes might be used simply to display a natural environment for the urban population, or could otherwise be used as the backdrop for hunts or dramas depicting episodes from mythology. They were also occasionally used for executions in which the hero of the story – played by a condemned person – was killed in one of various gruesome but mythologically authentic ways, such as being mauled by beasts or burned to death.

This will be the central idea for the concept of the next several Retro arenas, with a new twist each Games. Ideally the 6th Games will be the simplest version and the next few games will become progressively more elaborate. Additionally, it's highly encouraged for ideas of history, mythology and religion to take site lore into account — things like Ripredism, District-specific folklore, or famed Capitol battle victories from the war.

There will be an official Games announcer for the 6th Games (either an NPC or a Junior GM character). If it fits with the Arena concept then the announcer may read theatrical narration to the audience as if the Games were a play. They may also do play-by-plays of combat action, etc. This will be the first official instance of a Flickerman type Games figure.
