Apperance:

One might say that Gregg Linton is quite the stunner, if they saw him of course. Towering above many, Gregg stands at six feet and four inches. Muscles to the highest extent can be found within this mans legs, of course these muscles are from his time fishing. Being that he works on the boats daily, he has developed quite a nice tan as his skin appears a somewhat soft tan. Gregg's muscles are not lost on his upper body either, as under his shirt one would see a six pack and some pretty sexy large pectoral muscles.

Being that Gregg lives in District Four, his wardrobe usually consists of some type of button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and khaki shorts. One might question why he would wear a shirt that covered his arms, but he has his reasons. He would not want to embarrass the other guys of the fourth district with his muscles. Maybe he is too modest about himself, but he is just afraid that if somebody sees that he is better than they are then someone will try to hurt him. Kinda weird, isn't it.

Short, almost black hair comes off the top of Gregg's head. On both sides of his head it is straight, but on the top one would see spiked up hair, almost in a flamboyant way. Onto Gregg's face, where maybe the most prominent flaw that he has would be his acne. Gregg was not blessed with clear skin, and he does his best to take care of his acne, but still, even with his best efforts he cannot prevent pimples and blackheads that cover the greater part of his face. Everything has those small little pus filled nuisances covering up their beauty.

Soft maple iris's sit inside almond shaped eyes. Eyelids, shaped to point inwards, in turn, sit on top of those two eyes. Both his eyes and hair are the same, soft yet deep color of brown. His eyes, that always seem to be watery, just are that way. He does not cry, well, not in public at least.

Perfectly molded teeth of white sit inside this mans mouth. His lips, always pursed, make it so seeing them is a rarity. Of course, if Gregg was so inclined, he could get with probably any girl in District Four, though of course, that is just speculation.

Another thing that one might find unattractive about Gregg is his well, not beard, but scruff. His facial hair goes from his slightly crescent chin up to where his sideburns would be.

Gregg, of course, has flaws besides acne. His ears are somewhat odd in appearance when one looks straight on at his face. They appear to be sticking out just enough to be noticeable, but they also point up at the top as one would picture the ears of an elf.

History:

Gregg never was exactly wanted as a child. His father left right when Gregg's mother found out that she was pregnant. Of course, this did not bode well with Gregg's mother, Shantall. Gregg happens to be fine being a bastard child, as he has never known any other way of life. Being that he only has one parent, Gregg is relatively poor for District Four. Still, he is never hungry and never has a lack of things.

Being 'poor' in District Four never really seemed unfair to Gregg. He always was content with what he had, never asking for more. Even at a young age he was able to understand that he just did not have as much as others in his district. Somewhere deep down it hurt him, but on the outside he just showed that he was happy. This is probably why Shantall feels disconnected from her son, he hides his emotions, always putting out a fake self around other people.

Living life without at father has hurt Gregg's social skills with guys. He never seems to feel comfortable around them, not exactly because he feels better than them, but because he feels awkward around them. Gregg always found it easy to be around people of the opposite gender, it just came to him easily, probably because he spent so much time as a young child around his mom. But around guys he always gets the feeling that they want to hurt him.

Being that Gregg found it easy to connect with girls, maybe he was right about his own gender not accepting him. In a way, he was like that one boy who was always friends with the popular girls, but could never make a friend of his own gender. So in a way, he is rightfully afraid of people who are his own gender.


Personality:

Gregg Linton would be the poster child for paranoia. He lives his life in fear for what would appear to be no particular reason. Being around other guys scares Gregg, he is afraid they will try to hurt him physically or verbally, yet nobody has ever physically beat him or said anything to his face that would hurt him in his life. Being that he never had a father, Gregg went into life subconsciously thinking that males were awful people who could never keep a commitment. No he does not hate himself, but he does hate what he thinks he is.

Gregg never has shown his emotions, he always has ended up keeping them to himself. His friends and mother find this quite the pain, they really do want to help Gregg, yet they cannot because he does not let them. Gregg finds it unimportant to show his emotions to others, after all, they have their own to deal with; and Gregg would not want to dumb his emotional load onto them too. It would be unfair to their sanity, right?

Gregg can be quite the annoyance, as he always voices his opinion, on everything. Listening to others opinions is not exactly what Gregg does best. He voices his opinion, then listens to others, and then calmly replies, 'yes, but...'. One could see how this could get quite annoying. Friends have told Gregg about this not so good tendency, and he vowed to try to stop, but of course he had failed. It seems to them that the only way to stop Gregg when he goes on this argumentative tear is to tell him that he is being an ass again; in which case he would stop and then hide his sorrow somewhere inside.

One good thing about Gregg is that he genuinely cares about others. his friends matter to him, and without a doubt he would be the first one there if they got hurt in any way at all. Gregg thinks that he does this because he just wants to be nice to his friends, but really, he does this because he wants his friends to do this back to him.
