☞ At first glance, one would probably see quite the beauty in Serenity. Of course she actually is quite good looking in the opinion of quite a few, but she is not without her flaws. But before one notices any particular thing about Serenity, they would find themselves figuratively looking down on her. She is quite short, standing at only five foot, yet she is not small as her body weight fits her 110 pounds fit her size quite well.

Overall, Serenity has guys attracted to her for the quite voluptuous body that she has. Of course, there are some obvious downsides to her too. Due to her size, Serenity would not be the poster child for future models as she has very short legs. Those annoyances make it hard for her to run for longer distances (and shorter distances) at a fast pace. Serenity's natural peach skin is covered with a fairly strong tan. Her tan is all natural from days and days sitting on the beach. Not exactly a harsh price that one has to pay for a tan.

Serenity spends all of her waking hours (when she is not tanning of course) training for the games. Due to this, she is fairly strong for someone of her size. Even with this strength, her muscles do not exactly show exceedingly through her skin. If one was not trying to see the muscle under her skin they would probably not notice it, but with a keen eye one would be aware of the thin curves along most of her body. In her mind the leaner the muscle the better, it gives off a sense of being weaker then one actually is. This is not exactly good logic though, as since she is from District Four a fellow tribute would quickly assume that she had been training for the Hunger Games the greater part of her life.

A face with round, rosy cheeks lays on top of this girls neck. One might even say that her cheeks were chubby, which she would take great insult. But there is one thing that is quite true about Serenity's cheeks, they make her appear cute. Being considered cute at the age of seventeen may not be exactly what this girl wants (she would much rather be considered hot), but considering the amount of guys that she makes out with, she can't complain.

Extremely dark brown hair (one might even call it black, which would be wrong of course) flows down this girls head to slightly below her shoulder blades. With her hair parting slightly right from the center of her head, a wave of hair flows down over the left side of her forehead, also covering the outmost sliver of her left eye. Slight streaks of burgundy, obviously from hair dye, can be seen if one was to look closely at Serenity, they make for a slight, yet nice contrast. Of course, this hair does not come without flaws. To Serenity, it feels like every strand of hair is a split end, so she takes matters into her own hands, or should I say mouth. To get rid of her seemingly infinite split ends, Serenity bites them off. Not a very attractive habit one might say, especially for a girl who constantly uses her mouth for things other than split ends. (No, not anything that sexual, only making out happy chaos) Of course, since she bites off her split ends, her long strands of hair come up looking more destroyed. She hates this fact, but in her mind messed up ends are better than split ends.

Serenity was born lucky when it came to her teeth, she has been blessed with perfectly aligned teeth (braces would have slowed down her social life). Even though she never had tooth alignment issues, Serenity had to work hard for white teeth. She always seemed to acquire plaque in greater quantities than others did, causing her to practice good dental hygiene to keep her teeth a shiny white.

A nose that simply fits Serenity's looks is stationed right in between her eyes. It is ever so small, but then one must remember that Serenity is not exactly large in stature. Ever so slightly does her nose hook over, but it looks natural. There may have been a few pimples and blackhead roaming her nose from time to time, but thankfully those all went away with out a scar. Her nose is just simple to put it best, unlike Serenity, it does not bring attention to itself, it just is there.

A simple, yet beautiful contrast sits inside Serenity's almond shaped eyes. Iris's of a deep brown that is very similar to Serenity's hair color always gleefully show themselves. On top of Serenity's eyes sit precisely cut eyebrows. Her eyebrows are not arched in any special way, they just sit in their slim state above her eyes.

Though one would barely see Serenity's ears because they are hidden behind her lovely hair, they still would manage to catch a glimpse of her earrings. If one was to look at Serenity with her hair up (which never happens because Serenity never has her hair up), they would see two properly sized ears attached to her head. Without a doubt the onlookers would notice that she has two piercings in each ear, one higher up and the other on the lobe. Usually one would find that the piercings through her lobes are adorned with gold hoops, and the higher piercings to be adorned with pearls.

After getting her second piercings Serenity went through some problems though. Apparently the needle was not cleaned right and she got infections in both ears. Both were pretty green at that point in her life, and she did not help the recuperation process by scratching her ears. Because of this scratching her ears now have eternal scratch marks on them.

Though Serenity is a career trainee, she has exceptionally small shoulders. She never was one for larger weapons such as spears, whips or maces, due to her body size she was more at home working with knives, a bow and arrow, or throwing knives. Along with her small frame she does not have particularly lengthy arms. In fact, her arm span, just like her height, is short. Since she tans so much, both the inside and outside of her arms have the same hue as the rest of her body, but her elbows get dry from time to time. To counter this problem she scratches it off (only in the days though, at home she uses lotion), which in turn only makes it worse, creating an eternal losing battle for Serenity.

Being that Serenity is more than well off, she has no trouble adorning her nails with polish. Being that she has a fair amount of district pride, the usual color of Serenity's nails is a turquoise, the color of water in paradise. Besides her nails always being covered in color, she always wears a golden ring - for no perticular reason - on her right middle finger. Also, Serenity wears a pearl necklace almost everywhere, it is her good luck charm.

Underneath her polish though are pale white nails. Without polish her nails would contrast her skin so much that it would be almost scary. Putting the blue over her nails makes Serenity happy, it gives her a sense of being pretty. Considering that being pretty is her main goal in life, that is quite the good thing for Serenity.

Serenity takes great pride in having the flat stomach that she does. Keeping her body looking fine is no easy since she has a slow metabolism. She is not exceptionally skinny, but yet she still has her body curve in like an hourglass would. Because she likes to show off her body, this is very important to her.

Like many, Serenity has developed a sock tan. The top of her feet are the same hue as the rest of her luscious body. Her body has the usual tan lines of a women that spends the majority her time on the beach (but there is no need to explain where those are). Both of her feet arch off the ground slightly, and in today's shoe sizes she would have women's size four feet. Serenity does not really care about her feet though, except to get her toe nails polished in the same color as her fingernails.

Serenity's common dress would be a bikini. Almost all of her free time during the summer is spent in those two piece bathing suits. In fact, she even has her own walk in closet designated for them. During the school year, since she is not allowed to wear those things, she commonly would dress in short shorts or leggings (jeggings aren't in style in Panem I assume) and a verity of provocative shirts. ✍


Personality ✍


☞ Around her friends, people would easily know that Serenity was part of the 'popular' group. Though, for one to state this they would need to define popular. If one was to define popular as attractive, rich and hangs out with others who are attractive and rich, then the statement of Serenity being popular would be undoubtably correct. Those three things have nothing to do with what a person is actually like, it is just that the first two end up bringing on the third. Being popular means nothing towards being a nice person. So yes, Serenity would be defined by the word popular.

Being that she is rich, Serenity has no problem with thinking of money as nothing. With ease she throws it around, spending it on things that are so pointless she will forget about them once she puts them down. She also uses her money to buy clothes and such, again, for superficial reasons. She buys because she wants to buy, not because she needs to buy. But really, she buys those clothes because she wants to feel like she is worth a lot. Being in something that is worth a thousand dollars should make you feel like your worth a thousand dollars. That is what Serenity tricks herself into thinking at least.

The way that Serenity throws her money around almost implies that she needs stuff to function. Surrounding herself with items that are so pointless makes her feel good about herself because she has the money that allows her to do this. Having money is probably the most important thing that Serenity bases who she wants for her friends off of, if one does not have money, then she would probably not even acknowledge their existence.

There was never a question in Serenity's mind about her sexuality. Always has she been attracted to people of the opposite gender, it is just what she finds natural. But Serenity has a different opinion on sexuality than most, she thinks that since she is straight everyone who she knows has to be straight too. It is almost like a monkey see monkey do situation, if Serenity was to find out that one of her friends, male or female, was homosexual, she would end up treating them as if they were poor.

Surrounding herself with people who she is like is a must for Serenity, it is not in her nature to accept anyone who is exceptionally different in their beliefs. In looks, Serenity could accept people being different than her, not better looking, but different looking, but personality wise, she just would not accept it. Even if she fails to say so, it is obvious to any person with more than one brain cell that Serenity is insecure.

Fashion, to Serenity, is more then just what one wears, it is her lifestyle. Simply putting it, Serenity values the way somebody dresses more than she values the way that they act. Never would she allow herself to be in last weeks fashion, she always is looking for something new to wear. Even with her attempts to never be slow on her fashion, she still is not the trendsetter in her clique.

The ever so important title of queen bee is something that has always avoided Serenity. She is not one of the least popular people in her group by any means, but she is not the most popular. Her need for people who think the same way as her does not always work within her group, since she does not choose who is in it, but as everybody knows, there are groups within groups, and Serenity picks and chooses those with great care.

The way that she acts has something to do with this though. Since she is a jerk to some of the people in her clique, one could imagine that they would not exactly be the best supporters of her. Even though she does not think it, people see right through the way that Serenity acts. They do not care enough to completely not be friends with her, since she is rich and pretty, but they do care enough to keep her outside their little groups.

Being that District Four is one of the richer districts in Panem, there are no shortage of girls who like to get with guys. Fortunately for Serenity, the vice versa is true too. She likes to get with guys, just like the majority of the people in her click do. It is just something that she gets used to, and besides, getting with a guy who is hot or the most popular (or both) helps her gain more power in her clique, something that is always a plus in her mind.

Even though Serenity makes out with a lot of guys, it does not mean that she is not interested in a long term relationship. The only problem with that want is that her friends in general party, a lot. And it is the unsaid general consensus that having boyfriends would take away from the fun of the group as a whole. Serenity does not exactly agree with that statement, but she is not one who would speak out about that. She knows that if she had a boyfriend she no longer would be friends with her friends, and what was she without her friends? This made her options singular, as the answer would be nothing.

Love, to Serenity, was an interesting idea. Up to this point in her life, she had never even experienced it, nor had she experienced infatuation. In her heart Serenity believed that true love was possible, it just seemed so far off. No boys in her grade acted like they were in love with her, and with her current friends, it appeared that this would be true at least for the next two years of her life. Prolonged make out sessions were no uncommon, but there never was anything emotional being those kisses. They were only kisses, nothing more. They had no long lasting effect, they did not even make awkward situations. Nothing had changed for the past two years, and Serenity did not find it likely that anything would change in the next two. The fact that she is so interested in love does make her feel somewhat bad about using guys the way that she does. But she really has no choice (because of her friends and their unwritten rules), and she knows it. If Mr. Perfect came along, sure she would dump her friends for him, but that opportunity has not showed itself yet. Even with that said, love is important to her. She wants somebody to care about her more than she cares about herself, and someone that she can care about more than she cares about herself. Her parents, sure they love her, but it is not in the romantic way. She wants romance in her life, but right now, she really cannot tell the difference between romance and true love.

Serenity has no idea of what life is like outside of her district. Sure she knows that districts one, two, and four were the richest, and she knew the industries. But it did not matter, she thought of her own as the best. What more could a teenage girl want in a district anyways? The weather was great, the people were good looking. Obviously she lived in the best district and everyone else, even the people of the Capitol were inferior to her. She was just born better than them in her opinion. Of course she was wrong, but what else could be expected from a teenage girl.

If she was to acknowledge the existence of a poor person, it would not be for a good reason. Chances are, that poor person would be her waiter or her server and she would be giving them direct orders. But if she was speaking to one of her not so well off classmates, she would practically be sneering at them. She thought that because they had no money, they deserved no respect, they were basically meant to do her whim, no matter what it was. This did not bode well with the poorer people in her grade, which worked out fine for Serenity. She was not interested in being their friends anyways. She really would not want to actually have to see what the poor live like though. It seems so out of this world that people would not be rich enough to live the way she does. She would probably feel bad about herself seeing the way that they lived compared to the way that she lives.

Serenity though, is not stupid no matter how hard she tries. She thinks being stupid is a way to get guys to like you, after all, guys think they are better. Of course they do not though, a smart girl is just as good as a dumb one to many guys. Serenity is too ignorant to realize that fact though. Even as a bitch, she is charming. She knows how to make a guy want to be with her. Sure once they see how she can be they might not be so fond, but she is just a natural charmer in many ways. ✍

☞ Born to a respected District Four family, Serenity has always lived her life well off. She never has had to worry about being hungry, or even worry about not getting something that she wanted. Her father brought money to the family though, since he ran one of the bigger fish packing and transporting businesses in all of the district. Basically, she got whatever she wanted, always. This may not have been the best way for her parents to raise her, but they did. Yet this was the way that many rich children of District Four were raised. They had no rules, no guidelines, they were basically being set up to fail without even knowing it.

Being rich was just something normal to Serenity, there were no strings attached. She got what she wanted when she wanted, and life wold never be any other way. If she wanted a dress, she got a dress. This ended making her always think that things were just supposed to be given to her. Even at school, her friends were basically given to her because she was rich and pretty. But how can one develop as a person if they do not have to work for anything. The answer to that is one cannot.

Her father and mother never did want to have another kid after Serenity, she showed them a bad example of what a child could be. She was awful to them and they still wanted the best for her. Since she was the only child, her father wanted her to be the heir to his packaging empire. But one could not put a failing high school student in charge of a huge business.

Ever since a young age she was liked by the other rich girls because of the simple fact that she was rich also. At a young age her parents always received compliments about how cute their daughter was, which did not exactly hurt their self confidence. She just always was physically attractive (no she did not have curves as a kid). Even with her success on the social scene, she was not exactly a star in the classrooms. Basically getting B's in her classes, which was respectable, but not what her father wanted, did not bode well. He ended up getting upset with her, he was an over achiever, so why shouldn't his daughter be smart like him. But she was not as smart as him because she did not try. Being popular and smart were two things that sadly did not go together at all. Her parents did want the best for her clearly, but they did not know how to handle her basically. They never were clear on how to raise their child. Maybe if they took parenting classes they would have been better parents.

One might say that she could do better in school but really she had no motivation at all to do so. Even from a young age the only thing that mattered to Serenity was her social life. Why would she need to be smart anyways, she had all the money in the world, and she was living a seemingly perfect life. She had friends, money, and things. Yet still, her teachers were frustrated with her, why would a girl of a smart man not be smart. Even though genetics can be crazy, it seemed highly unlikely that a girl who did not care at all would have half of her chromosomes from a guy that cared the world about being smart.

Serenity, being the homophobic girl that she is, as something of a reason for her hate of homosexuals. At the age of 14 she was approached, not in a meaningful way or anything, by a girl who she did not know. This girl was basically hitting on her and it scared Serenity to a high extent. She was not used to same sex couples or even love at that point in her life, so she developed a fear. In her dreams for a little while she was attacked by that girl, which of course hurt any chance of her ever becoming friendly to homosexual people ever again.

As she got older and started to hit puberty, boys started to notice Serenity. Maybe it was because she started to physically bloom first; but maybe it could have been the fact that she actually cared about the way she acted around guys. She did not act all bitchy and she did not complain around them. She tried to get them to like her, and somehow her real personality was hidden behind her need for social interactions. Boys made her feel safe, she enjoyed their company, there was a sense of security that came with boys being around. She even felt better around them, as if she could build off her strength from them. Boys were and still are her rock, without them she would be nothing.

Around when she was twelve she had her first make out, back then it felt weird. But eventually kissing grew on her, she started to genuinely like guys and genuinely like to party. She easily fit in with her group now. She was just another one of the girls who was popular, but now it meant something other than just being rich and cute. Now it means being able to get with guys and do whatever she wanted without any consequences... at least for now that is ✍
