Before the Beginning

Felix's mother, Helia, met Felix's father, Phillip, at a bonfire after school on the first day of high school. Back then they were reckless and young. Helia fell in love with Phillip at first sight. However it wasn't the same for Phillip. Phillip preferred keeping a distance from females at that time considering his current situation with his parent's divorce and all. Helia on the other hand was simply looking to fit in and wanted to get a nice boyfriend. In the end Helia ended up spiking the punch at the bonfire. Therefore resulting in a lot of drunken teenagers. Helia simply watched them for a while and then she made her move. She began flirting with Phillip at any moment that was possible. Eventually Phillip broke down into tears, considering how much stress he was under. Helia instantly felt bad for him and backed away, but the other drunken girls didn't. Helia found herself standing up for Phillip. After a while she decided that it was her fault and offered to take Phillip home. He declined, but mentioned something about meeting up a little later.

After the first week of school Helia and Phillip hadn't talked. Mainly because Phillip had been absent from school. But during that weekend Helia received a call from Phillip asking if he could come over to her house. Helia called him back and told him that she was busy with family business. He accepted it that one time and then began to call her every weekend on the same day at the same time. She finally accepted his offer three months later. After those three months had passed Helia and Phillip's relationship had grown into a blossoming friendship. They began to hang out regularly, and eventually Helia fell deeper into love with Phillip. Both of them accepted the fact that they couldn't get enough of each other.

Eventually though they fell apart, the main cause was Helia's family. Her family soon tore apart much like Phillip's family had. Only her parents didn't want her anymore. They left her in the hands of her ignorant aunt and uncle. Obviously Phillip could tell something was wrong with Helia, because of the way she behaved. She acted like an empty shell to the rest of the world. All she wanted to do was to be left alone. In wanting to be left alone she pushed the love of her life away and sealed herself up like a neatly wrapped gift. She remained that way for almost six months.

Nine months from the day she let Phillip into her life, she reopened herself up to him. However the tables were turned and he was the one infatuated with her. Through those nine months she had changed the way he saw her through his eyes. She was no longer the same person as she was before, but she was a person whose heart had been broken and replaced. No longer did she hold that same smile on her face.

She was a broken doll and he was her creator, together they wept tears of sorrow and shared moments of innocence. All Phillip wanted to do was to indulge in her presence; meanwhile all Helia wanted to do was to spend time in his embrace. It was a darkened, stormy night when they both came to a compromise. First they kissed, next came the alcohol, third came the feel up, but before they could get to the final step they broke apart. It was simply foolish to let in to temptation and sorrow; especially if it left them feeling numb. This lead them to the conclusion of waiting, but not to the conclusion of dating.

Sweet, Sweet Revenge

On the anniversary of his father's death Felix finally snapped. He went out to go see his father after a couple of shots from the closest bar. All he did was set there and cry on his father's grave. He had been such a kind man, he had a family that loved him dearly, yet life had to leave him at such an early age. Around one in the morning, Felix got back home, and then he felt a blanket of rage and sorrow fall on top of him.

Felix snuck into his mother's room, and woke her up after taking a knife he had hidden in his room. He wasn't Felix at that moment; he was just a killer. He let his mother scream and suffer while he killed her. Secretly he enjoyed it, seeing his own mother panic in the way she was. Once her screams had quieted he realized that there was a set of eyes watching him. There in the doorway stood his little sister, almost in tears. He looked from her to his mother, and onto his blood stained hands. Then came the worst part, hearing his little sister's blood curdling screams. She was only 11 years of age.

When he tried to get closer to his sister she simply backed away from him while tears fell from her eyes. Felix eventually began to cry too. After a few moments or so Peacekeepers came in the front door, they saw Felix all covered in blood. They began to arrest Felix, and all the while Felix only apologized. He apologized, by saying things such as ' I didn't mean to' , ' I'm sorry' , 'She raped me first' ' Please don't take me away from my sisters'. Once he was locked up, they began to torture him and knocked him unconscious.

Once they got to the Capitol, they awoke him. He recognized the place as either a hospital or a prison. Then he realized that he might not be able to see his family, or speak ever again. Unless he ran away, which he knew would surely get himself killed. So while he could he screamed, yelled, and cried before everything when silent. He was only 131/2 old at that time.

After the silence

In the avox trading center he stayed about as silent as he would ever be. They gave him food, but he never ate. He couldn't stand himself anymore. He had killed his own mother and mentally scarred his little sister. He hardly moved at all. Sometimes guards thought he had died. All that he did was set there and obey the rules and directions given by the manager. He was depressed and upset. When taken to the medical clinic, they put him on depression pills, but that didn't work either. Several times he even would try to commit suicide. Majority of the guards tended to be easier with Felix, because they knew he wouldn't do anything to harm other avoxes.

Seven months later at age 14, a married couple, Sawa and Sonia came in looking for an avox close to the age of their son. There were only a handful of candidates, and that included Felix. They looked over the files and decided that Felix was the best candidate for their son. Which meant that Felix was free in a sense... Felix was then beginning to change back to his old self. The only issue was that the Auksas family had a young girl of age 12. Her name was Krysta, and she reminded him of his youngest sister. Being around any female at that time unnerved him.

For the longest time, he noticed that the only reason he was there was avoiding him. The reason he was there was named Devyni, a 13 year old boy. For the longest time Devyni ignored him, and he went on his way. Felix did the same only doing what he was told to do, and even stuff he wasn't told to do. Eventually, Devyni opened up to Felix and let him into his own little secluded life. As much as Felix wanted to say he felt that he actually beginning to get to know Devyni, he realized that instead of a friend Devyni was the brother that Felix had never had. He felt that he had left an impact on Devyni's life; one that would probably stay there until he left. The young boy, he had come to know as a sibling amazed Felix, both by how well he was intellectually but also how he grew in the social world.

The only thing Felix really disliked about Devyni growing in terms of the social world was the people, mainly Marco, that he was hanging around with. Even Devyni's sister hung around with them. Felix knew that they weren't the best of people to hand around with. And he knew that was going to be a major downfall one of those days.

Eventually that was confirmed, the night that Devyni left for a party and didn't come back until the next morning. Devyni returned to the same person he had met on day one. The introvert that stayed in his room, writing majority of the time. The only exception to that rule Felix really saw was himself. The only thing that ran through his mind at that moment was the idea of how much an impact Devyni had been on his life and vice-versa.

Life Alone

There also come the times when Felix is left alone to run an errand or house sit. Majority of the time Felix takes care of the things that are needed done with an extra hour or longer left. Sometimes he would draw, or paint something he found that sparked his interest. A couple of times he would even bake brownies for his chocolate loving master, Devyni. There were also those times that he remembered his life before he was avoxed. Most of the time he would cry silently in his own separate room. Sure, the life he had with the Auksas was nice and all, but he missed his own family. Enough to the point where he was sick with depression and didn't even feel like moving an inch. Most of the time he wouldn't eat anyways. He knew that it would remind him of the old days.

The only people that he assumed knew what happened was his family, peacekeepers, and maybe Sawa and Sonia. As for Devyni and Krysta, they had no idea what had happened to make him an avox, and when he did tell them it would be the moment when he left them. Either to run away, another owner, or to death. No matter what happened he wouldn't want them knowing what he did.

Sometimes he would return back to those days in the trading center when he contemplated his own suicide. He had always attempted to show a brave face in front of Devyni and Krysta though. He knew that if he didn't that maybe they would too turn depressed like he was; considering how much he just had impacted their lives. And that may get him another owner, or it may just make him want to take away all the worries Devyni and Krysta have.

Then, there were those days that he would secretly buy alcohol and drugs. Also Felix would hurt himself on purpose, by cutting himself or taking a leap off of the building. It all depended on how desperate he is to get away from his real life. There were even a couple of times when he decided to run away from the Auksas family. But in all reality, Felix can't find a good enough reason to leave the Auksas family. The only reason being that he wanted to see his sisters again. There are times he has thought about going back to his parent's graves and talking to them in private, or even looking for his sisters and seeing if they would still accept him.

Overall, Felix is typically torn between his usual self, and the person he becomes when he is alone and influenced by emotions. Often times he only becomes that person when alone as to prevent from hurting anybody else that he knows. However he will typically hurt himself in one way or another, because of his attitude towards himself.
