The gentleman standing up for what he really believes in. Despite his delicate and kind ways, his determined voice makes an appearance to none other then Officer Strong. Not to disobey or stir things up, but because he interpreted the instructions wrong just as Vy did. His statement contains more meaning then that though as he declares the leader role he's wanting to inquiring. Making it known that he didn't join this program to be another follower, and if that's the case the only thing he's willing to follow are the instructions to unregister. As powerful and appealing as his words are, this situation is hardly deserving of them. Let alone worth the risk of getting booted from this place.

The bait's not taken, and it almost even seems like Officer Strong was hardly listening to him at all. Because as annoyed as she appears, it's not over Jeran's smart comment. She doesn't even take into consideration the option he was attempting to give. All she does is explain what she meant by doing pushups on top of each other. Guess that makes seance on account she didn't say to do pushups bellow the other, or with them on top. With everything going on it's difficult to really take it what something means, like the placement of these pushups. Now though, before Strong's even has to mention the reason for this exercise, Vy completely understands. It's to give the Officers and Cadets watching a funny performance that closely resembles what they were attempting to do before getting caught.

With a sigh Vy's ends up just accepting all of this. Even with the fight that Jeran continues to give. Guilt overrides her lips from moving. Not necessarily towards the fact she's broken a rule, but for which one she's chosen and the person she also dragged into it. Now Jeran's humiliated as well, and the entire academy probably knows of the fling they were having. Who knows what sort of rumors are already floating about. Pleading eyes go over to the young male, asking to just get this all over with. There's obviously no point in in arguing their way out of it. It'd be easier to just follow these orders before they have the entire academy at the window.

By now the rain's far more then a drizzle. A storm brewing up for the night to come. In no time the wind will be picking up and they'll be unable to see more then a couple of feet in front of them. With no desire to be out here either, Officer Strong's temper plummets to those very dark clouds. A peacekeeper's crowd control weapon is even brought out for intimidation. "Just listen to her." Vy urges to Jeran, giving in herself as she lays down on the concrete to let him the first round of pushups. "You wanna film it to?" Her usual attitude actually makes an appearance as she snaps a little to the threatening Strongs.

A decision has to be made and Jeran isn't leaving without an answer. He's put everything he's put into this place already on the line just for Vy. Oddly enough, they've only barely gotten to be near each other and being the third time, there's something inside of him that's starting to tell him that it isnt meant to be. With that part answered in his mind, he's not longer worried about what's goign to happen between him and Vy, only that their punishment has yet to be served but because of a miscommunication between the officer and the cadets. With the questions that arise from the placement and how to do them, he awaits her final decision.

"Are you thick? She lays down facing you, you do your push ups..." From there, Jeran fully understands what she meant now. Vy would be laying underneath him as he would complete the number of pushup's she's wanting yet, the way it's going to be done is something so close to what they were about to be doing in his room. Something that was only meant for those two to see and feel. Now, the entire school will be talking about the big 'love fest' that's occuring on the premises in front of everyone with two cadets in nothing but bras, pants and boxers. At least Vy has been allowed to keep her pants on while he's forced to be showing it all. No matter, his face seems to scream at the woman when she demands for him to get to the exercise, but before he does, she questions him.

"Would you stand up for a male fellow cadet as well?"

The question is one that Jeran would have no problem answering because as long as he feels the other person has done no wrong, and he knows for a fact that they don't deserve it, he would stand up for anyone, reguardless of gender or any other physical differences.

"Ma'am. Gender doesn't play a role in who I stand up for. I'm only here to learn my role and keep the peace. That is what this place is about, right? Keeping. The. Peace?" He gives her one more lasting stare before turning to face Vy whose begging for him to just get it over with as she lays down on the concrete just as the rain begins to pour even harder.

The situation grows as dark as the greying clouds above their heads. A storm is definately approaching and not just the weather. Inside, Jeran's heart is beating with more than just exertion of the pushups he's doing. His eyes and face never meet with Vy. Instead, he keeps his head tilted up until the appropriate number of pushups is done then he gets up and does the same for Vy to be able to get her punishment over with. The dark haze over his glare as he stares up into the storm clouds is daunting. His mind obviously swirling with things that he dares not speak.

Jeran seems to be a closed book. A lock whose key has been tossed into an empty well, forever lost. His recent motivatino to speak against the officer has quickly become his silence as the thunder above speaks for him, telling everyone that he's about to let loose a hellstorm of emotions. Soon enough, as soon as Vy gets her part of the punishment over with, the laps will be nothing but releiving as soon as he's able to get that fury of hatred out of his system.

peace Keeper Strong has long made a mental note that Cadet Prize is submissive snd even tries talking her fellow cadet into following while he's still trying to wind his way out of the task. nhe will certainly his failure to comply right awAy up to the board.
She disregards the snappy comment about filming and watches the two finally doing what she's asked from them.
it is a pretty funny picture but what satisfies her is the fact that the other trainers can see how she's ridiculing them and how hard she is on them.
the rain and dirt makes the whole exercise even more uncomfortable but the worst is the whst they have to do.
"Thanks for the great show you gave all your comrades here. i'm sure they will remember not to follow your example. 20 laps around the yard, then you can take a shower....seperately. cadet Ruze, report to the Captain Philipps tomorrow morning.
cadet Prize, you'll move out of the mens quarters at the end of the week...just to be sure you don't get any more ideas."

with that she turns to cast one quick glance at the row of cadets up on the windows of the hallway and get inside..out of the rain.

Just get this over with. Obviously they've been left with only two choices; walk away and leave the academy all together, or follow the orders for this ridiculous punishment. Might of even been worth it if they got further then taking off each other's tops and a make out session. But they didn't, making this very difficult to swallow. Just to put the cherry on top their first option isn't even liable. As if they'd call it quits out here in the rain, in front of all those cadets. To go down as the laughing stalk that couldn't make it. It's somehow a lot easier to just do as Strong says, if that's even possible. The embarrassment might just be the same. But with no time to consider they both go with not getting booted.

The entire time Jeran's gaze stays averted as he performs his pushups. As if things couldn't get any worse. To think Vy's heart supposedly already sunk, because now the true pain's setting in. Even if it was a mutual thing, she's the one feeling the guilt to no end. The audience, the embarrassment, none of it seems to matter with that expression upon his face. Why does she get the hatred for this? Silently and quickly they go through their pushups though, switching rolls just as directed to. The sooner this ends, the better. Double the amounts of laps would of been better then this. Once over with they're upon their feet and back to attention. Now they can only hope Strong is content with her show.

Of course she has to point out their audience once again. Rub it in their faces as if they haven't been through enough. Like they forgot or something she reminds them of the laps they owe, along with some followup orders. There's no telling what Jeran's in for tomorrow with having to see a Captain, but Vy's final punishment is stated very clearly. Now it's her turn for a share at the anger, because all the sorrow's replaced when she's ordered to arrange herself in a female dorm. She doesn't even share a room with Jeran! But they have no confidence this doesn't mean she'll do it with her own roommates. All they want is to prevent another event like this from happening. Or maybe Strong really knows how to personally tick each cadet off. Just like that she's retrieving to shelter to leave the two to finishes their sentence.

Before all Vy could think of was the apology she was going to make as soon as they were left alone. With the addition of her punishment she's at a lack of words now. Knowing that any conversation she attempts to have will only result in one of them giving backlash to the wrong person. Actually a run sounds just about perfect right now. If only a sports-bra and shirt could join her. Knowing that's not going to happen though she takes off in her shower-filled race.

If looks could kill, Jeran would have already had Peacekeeper Strong on the ground and covered with mud as much as the rain was falling down at the present time. The punishment was served for their first half and as Vy does her portion of the push ups over him, he can feel his heart strumming to the beat of a drum. With each one, the pulsation beats in his ears, and fueling his rage through his body without even showing it. The easiest portion of the punishment was coming up even though it was likely to take a while before they finished, he'd rather do the laps twice over as offered instead of doing the act infront of his fellow cadets. Right now, he can't hear the words and gossip running through the academy and he probably wouldn't. His mind is set clearly on completely this as if it was merely a mission and then he'd be going to hit the showers, if only it wasn't already doing that.

The longer that they are out there in the rain, the clothing that they are allowed to have, is stuck to them as a second skin, showing everything. As aware as he is to his attire, he keeps his head up. His eyes face forward as the running of the laps begin. Without even waiting for his fellow cadet, he takes off. There's absolutely nothing he can say to her now. If he did, he was sure it wouldn't come out in a tone that would be acceptable for her. After all, what he fought against Officer Strong about was that she did nothing wrong. Still hasn't. If only he felt that what he did, didn't go in vain. She was far from wanting to help him in defending their honor. According to an old saying, he deems this now a 'to each their own'.

Breath after breath, his feet pound against the soddened ground. The pavement that carries puddles that splash as he runs as well as the grass that sinks with every jog. Completely soaked, he refrains from wiping the water from his face and hair. Only once, around lap twelve, does he look over to Vy. A hard face meets with her, yet his eyes appear soft, almost apologetic like, before he returns to the task at hand. The last lap though, has his body screaming to stop. The punishment was all too harsh and he knows it. This was only to be made an example of them and he isnt about to quit on the last lap. Not when others are probably staring at them, watching and waiting for one of them to fall over or to quit and walk out.

Perseverance.

Persistance.

Determination floods him till the last step has him completely wasted to a point that he doesn't give a care about what others see. He immediately bends over to his knees, allowing for the cold rain to beat down on his back. Heavy breaths follow, along with his vision peering out to the windows to the last few faces that stuck around for the punishment to cease. What happens to go through his mind is next displayed through his lips. "Captain Phillipps. If he kicks me out of this place after doing this..." Pursing his lips together, he gives his fellow cadet a solemn grin, a half-assed attempt at being pleasant before walking toward the doors, ready to get a hot shower and clothes on.
