Some things are better left avoided. Like Vy's pull between going easy on her friend, or giving her all as she always does. First she's told not to do the first, then asked to be fair, as if these two things can correlate together in a fight. They can't, but even if that wasn't requested of her she'd be unsure with it all. There's just no meeting in the middle for Vy, and she's worried about being too brutal. Apparently it should be the other way around though, as it's Kyanite that delivers the kick that announces this was a bad idea. Maybe friends are just not meant to spar. Or something more deeper by the look on Kyanite's face.

Information isn't given, even if something's obviously bothering her. Determined it'll slip out of her eventually Vy doesn't press for now. Only a joke is given to lighten up the mood. It works out perfectly to as Kyanite gives a hint of sarcasm back with agreeing to go to the underground fight. "It's not even open right now." A soft grin joins in with Vy's words, simply happy that they've prevented anything bad from happening. Can't risk losing the one person she can actually get along with. So she leaves the option to Ky on what they'll do next. Whatever keeps the good moods flowing.

There's no one that's better at making sure everything remains cheerful then Brooklyn. As long as she's in a good mood herself of course. Luckily that's most of the time though. And that little girl has managed to form more friends for her mommy then Vy can for herself. So it's no surprise that Kyanite decides to go collect the rugrat and just enjoy the rest of the day. Even adding in the role she's taken up for the toddler, as her Auntie. With few relationships Vy's unable to help but react with an approving grin. To have someone that cares about Brookie as well is priceless.

"Auntie Ky ky." Light laughter seeps out as Vy enjoys the relation that has been created. How could she possibly object to that? A hangout between the three of them sounds perfect. "Works for me." She agrees as she goes over to the bench to retrieve her shirt and throw it on. As much as she loves showing off her toned stomach there's been enough of that lately. An eager Kyanite urges her to the door with the assumption that Brookie's waiting. That little one's probably wrapped up in toys or sleeping off that tantrum from being left. Because every time Vy picks her up, she's the complete opposite from when she was dropped off. Either way that's there next stop and she hurries off to catch up.

Side by side they walk down the road to travel to the daycare, with no further destination made yet. Doesn't really matter with good company, and the bundle of joy will be joining them to add onto that. Before she's included there's a snippet of time to address what happened. Sure, Kyanite probably wants to avoid the topic, but Vy's far too concerned and curious at this point. Already invested in this close, odd friendship. "So what happened in there?" She asks subtly and with a surprisingly calming tone, one that only comes out for Brooklyn. "When I pushed you..."

Aunt Ky-Ky is what I refer to myself when it comes to little Brooklyn. I'm not sure why, but since the beginning when she called me Kyky, it just kinda stuck like that. She was so much smaller back then, even though it's only been half a year. Kids around her age usually grow up faster than most because of the fact that they do grow up in the first five years. After that, it's just simple growing. In just two short years, they can go from completely helpless baby to one that is trying to pull someone out of a hospital bed to play with them. It's amazing, yet when people tend to get over the age of ten, it's just basically years that go by without many new milestones. Any milestones that are jumped after ten, is either when someone turns eighteen or gets married and becomes a parent. Things like like that only happen to certain people with Vy being one of them. Even though she's just a year older than me, thanks to a birthday not long ago, it doens't seem possible that I could ever imagine myself with a baby at sixteen. Matthew and I are barely getting to know each other. Which makes it really hard to think about Vy like that because the idiot never stuck around for her. Maybe, me and Matthew need to be more careful? Maybe... take it slower?

I wait nearer to the door, as Vy finally catches up to me and we walk out of the gym together. Silence is everywhere between us. I'm not sure why, but the silence is making me think about what had happened in there although it happened in a flash and I seem to be forgetting it just like that. The image I saw was so prominent moments ago, but the fresh air is making the incident fade away slowly. At least it was until Vy's voice breaks through the air and brings up the subject that is a little daunting to talk about. It's hard to open up to people and Vy is included. Matthew's been graced with a little bit here and there, but full stories and things about me are still being explored and brought to the surface slowly.

"So what happened in there? When I pushed you..." The question has my gaze to my feet. With each step, I take a breath for every fourth step. Thousands of beginnings are wanting to make their way out but each time I open my mouth to explain, it gets drawn back inside to be unable to verbalize. So, to answer I shrug.

A few more steps along the path, I actually bring my sights to look at Vy, whose look of concern hits me like a ton of bricks. I know she deserves an answer after I completely kicked her knee, the exact same one I had broken in the underground fight. I know that injuries like that just don't fade as my hand still sometimes aches from when I was twelve. Phantom pain, but still. I stop dead in my tracks when I take a deep breath because I know that she's going to want more explainations from what I'm going to say, that or she's going to completely think I'm crazy and if she does, I'm simply going to walk in the opposite direction.

"I saw him." I state. Just like that, the words come out. Her reaction isn't registering in my mind though because I follow it up with a little more to back it up. "He was right there where you were when you pushed me. It wasn't like I purposely envisioned him to replace you... I just - remembered one of the times he had done the same thing to me once. It's no big deal though. Just a bad memory, Vy. Just bad timing is all." I shrug my shoulders once again, and start walking in the direction we were heading before I came to a complete stop. It also dons on me, if she considers me to be crazy for that mishap, then she'll not want me to be around her daughter. She might be scared I'll take out some form of force on her daughter if it happened while she was in my presence. "I swear, it won't happen again." I mutter out.

Obviously something was going on with Kyanite. To pull out a kick, that had nearly as much force that she gave on that first night they met, can only mean one thing. The simple spar had turned into much more the a friendly competition between them, and for once it's actually not Vy's fault. Sure she did cause that shove to the ground that seemed to spark the whole thing, but it was a reasonable attack for their situation....She's unable to wrap her head around what she did wrong. And to make matters more difficult Auntie Ky ky only gives a simple shrug as if she doesn't know. By the deadly stare she gave while falling she knows fully well though she's refusing to share it.

Well so much for the bond and trust they've supposedly formed. With how stubborn both the females are there doesn't seem to be much of a point. Aren't best friends for sharing the things you can't even mention to anyone else? Or maybe Vy was just too optimistic with how close she got with someone. "Almost there." She informs, pointing to the colorful -slightly rundown- building at the end of the block. Just when she thinks there's no chance in getting Kyanite to open up, the Brunette suddenly halts the walk.

Of course Vy pauses as well, backtracking a couple of steps until she's at Ky's side again. Obviously she's changed her mind as she finally admits to what happened. Without even directly saying who him is, Vy's able to figure it out. The same guy that actually brought them closer by picking on Kyanite in the wrong place at the wrong time. She saw Jins pushing her down instead of her friend, reacting as such. "Well in that case I'm glad you didn't kick my ass." That very friend attempts to lighten the mood, and even adds in an under the table compliment. Best ways to get over fear is being stronger then it, or him. The walk continues as if to declare her lack of wanting to stay on this topic. Understanding, Vy only follows her lead down the sidewalk. Soon enough being side by side with her again.

For some reason Kyanite then feels the need to promise that it won't happen again. Like people ever have control over that sort of thing. "It's okay, don't worry about it." Vy reassures, unsure why it was even said in the first place. When her eyes focus more on the daycare she's able to piece the puzzle together yet again. Like Brooklyn could ever bring out such a flashback, if anything the little one will prevent it. There's such a need within Vy to give a gentle squeeze to Kyanite's shoulder, and a sort of half hug, to gesture that'll all be alright. Uncertain with where they stand she keeps her arms at her side though.

The drop of the conversation, something Ky probably wants more then ever, happens once they reach the front of the daycare. Automatically Vy takes the door, leaning against it as she waits for the Brunette to go through first. Gentlemen don't have to be the only ones with manners. A wave is given to the lady at the front desk as Vy leads the way to the two year old room. Once again opening the door for Ky before going in herself. Nap time must of just ended as a couple of kids are still munching on their snacks. As for Brooklyn, she's distracted by a pile of legos on the carpet. "Hey Ms. Clementine." She greets the teacher that's setting one of the Rugrat's down from getting their diaper changed.

"Vy." The Teacher gives a warm smile as always before her eyes begin to scan the room for the little Blonde. Already Vy's managed to get on a name to name basis with everyone here, and it's only been a few months. Guess Brooklyn's real popular. "Bebe, Momma's here." Mrs. Clementine calls to the toddler that's still oblivious to the fact that someone's even entered the room. As soon as her bright blue eyes come upon Vy, she's up in a flash and dashing over. Instantly she's scooped up for an enormous hug.

A tiny tap is given on Vy's leg, and though it's nothing compared to the punches and kicks she's used to, it does grab her attention. Brown eyes go down to a little boy that's her daughter's age. "Bebe bite." He informs through the most innocent and adorable voice. The smile that it brings to Brooklyn's face says it all to. Little booger, taking after her mother far too much even this young.

"Brooklyn..." Vy's tone goes stern, though not close to as deadly as it gets with careers. Immediately her tiny lips go from that smile to an O-shape with knowledge that her mom's not pleased with this information.

"Ky ky!" Brooklyn quickly goes to distraction. Her face lighting up once again now that she's noticed her older friend.

"Well Auntie Ky Ky's not going to keeping visiting if you keep biting your friends." Vy warns lightly, and only gets a giggle out of the two year old. "Sorry Ms. Clementine." She apologizes since Brooklyn's not really at the age to yet.

"Happens all the time." Ms. Clementine reassures with a slight wave. "See you girls soon."

The building not far from where we walk, comes into view. I can see it and I wonder what Brookie will think with me coming with Vy to pick her up to spend the day with us. Will she be a happy child to have the extra company or will she have that attitude most children get, friends or not, and hide behind her momma's leg. When Vy isn't around, she acts like I'm the funnest person in the world. Around Vy? She'll probably gravitate toward her. Though, before we even get there, I have to say what's going on. I have to give Vy that respect and tell her exactly what happened for me to lash out against her like that. It was fair nor was it right to do that. I just couldn't seem to help it.

The first thing out of her mouth when I tell her who I had seen has the sides of my mouth turning upward. I can kick anyone's ass that deserves it, yet I'm sorry it was you that had to get the backlash of my insecurities.I give her a small nod with the compliment attached to what she just said. My pace is brought back as I try to get away from the subject that was bothersome in the first place. It does have Vy catching up to me yet again in our walk and I glance over at her the moment she does match my pace. Words of an apology escape from me next, hoping that the misfortunate mistake of a bad memory won't deter her from letting me enjoy being around her daughter that I've grown to love. Brooklyn is actually a good distaraction during the weeks that have made me miss Matthew and the lot of them. Tyren and Vy, and especially Jeran as the house is empty most of the timeand very few words are exchanged between me and my father. Brooklyn is all I've got most days and I've taken to her like a fish in water. To lose that connection with the child over something that is my problem alone would severely devistate me.

Vy, on the other hand, takes no ill thoughts against me for what happened. Either she trusts me that I won't do it again, or she knows that it won't around her daughter, I'm not exactly sure. I just know that I won't be kept away from the little joyful child. My gaze wanders to the side, catching Vy keeping the pace beside me without missing a beat. Our steps are even in sync as we finally get to the door of the daycare. The door is opened and a low 'thank you' is given as they enter the place. Immediately, colors and animals invade my senses. Little cutesy things that are around for the child's development and interest is everywhere. This is the first time I've ever been in a daycare aside from when I was in one as a child. Being around kids just have never happened growing up and with career training, there was no need.

Down the hallway, sounds of children's laughter ring out and even one childs cry. Must have gotten a toy taken away or in time out? Why does being here make me so nervous? They are just little kids? My mind wanders off into little sceanarios for a childs cry but before I know it, Vy's opening up the door to the two year old room and allowing me to enter first yet again. With a smile, I push quickly through the door so I don't have to keep Vy waiting to pick up her daughter. It's nice to know that everyone knows about her daughter. Keeping the secrect doesn't have to be kept anymore. It's relieving. The teacher is the first to greet Vy and I stand back a little bit watching the other children playing. My eyes scan the room to see Brookie not even paying attention to who had came into the room, but is that normal? Wouldn't she automatically look up sensing the one person in her life that is the most important?

"Bebe, Momma's here." I listen to the teacher's name for the toddler and I can't help but give off such a grin. She comes running up the moment she finally notices and Vy scoops her up for a big hug. A pang of jealousy runs through me cause I'll never have that again. I'll never be able to run up to my mom and give her hugs anymore. I'll never get to be held in her arms, and for some reason, the thoughts running through my mind has my throat burning with emotions. I look away for only a moment to the other children. Then one of the cutest little boys comes up to Vy and taps her on the leg with the confession that Brooklyn had bit him. I put a hand over my mouth to conceal the smile wanting to show because of the cute way the little boy had spoken to the biter's mother.

Just as soon as Brooklyn goes from happy child to wanting to look innocent, she finally notices me with that childlike innocence of distraction. I can't help but to put my hands out for her as get scolded from Vy. The teacher only confirms that it happens all the time as I finally reach out to take the girl from Vy's arms and she's just as willing to come to me. A new face to pick her up is what I'm guessing is causing this reaction. So, the moment she's in my arms, I give her a gentle squeeze and tap her nose.

"Hi Brookie. Have you missed Kyky?" I ask her and with a very definate nod, I give her a wide grin and a kiss on the forehead. "I've missed you too. Ready to spend the day with mommy and Kyky?" I give a wave to the teacher and go for the door first, letting Brooklyn help me hold the door as we walk by, though it's my strength that actually gets the door completely open. Going out the way we came, I wait for Vy to get beside me as we start walking somewhere that we can enjoy the day.

"Where we going Vy? Your place? Mine? The park? Where would you like to go?" I turn my attention the little girl in my arms whose being distracted by a butterfly that's jumping around in the air around us and landing on a flower just feet away from where we're walking. She points ot it, questioning it. "Butterfly. Pretty butterfly."

Around Brooklyn, I feel like any normal person, but I don't understand why in a crowd of kids, I'm nervous yet with one I'm totally okay with it. I dont' feel silly talking with the terminology a child would understand. It just happens naturally.

"Pay wif Kyky. Pay?" I shake my head and turn to Vy.

"So, I think she's okay with whereever we go as long as I play with her." I tell her mother and give the child anohter gentle squeeze. "You are going to wear me out today, aren't you?"

Always getting into trouble that little Tyke. As much as Vy tries to prevent a similar copy of herself from being raise, it's become genetic or something. Like Brooklyn simply has an instinct to be bad and cause fights. Least she does contain that sweet side just as much, unlike her mother. Going from the mischievous grin when the little boy informed of what happened, to innocent and adorable when discovering her mommy's not happy with this news. Holding out her short arms to the Brunette who appears unaffected by all of this, only happy to receive the little one's attention. Always being horrible at the scolding part Vy passes her over, deciding that apologizing to her teacher will a lot easier. The only way Brittany ever did punishment was physical, leaving her clueless on how to approach it with Brooklyn. All she knows is that it'll never be physical.

"Uh huh!" Brooklyn answers as she snuggles up to Kyanite for a brief moment, settling with jumping on her hip to exhibit her excitement afterwards. Plus she's gotten out of being in trouble. Mommy never gives time out at daycare though, and always forgets by the time they get home. And with Kyky here it's bound to be nothing but fun. "Mommy and Ky ky!" The toddler repeats with an enthusiastic voice. To her it's the two best people in the entire world, and she gets to play with them both. That hasn't happened in forever in her mind. It's usually only one or the other. The more the merrier! Where they go and what they do doesn't even matter.

With the two eager to leave Vy quickly follows behind. "Have a good one." She calls out to the teacher with a subtle wave. They journey through the hallways, and options for their next destination comes up. Just like Brooklyn, Vy couldn't careless on where they went. Being with Kyanite and her daughter was absolutely perfect in it's self. "Doesn't matter to me." She leaves it up to the Brunette to decide. Before they exit completely she stops at the front to open up a large binder to flip through. The fact that Brooklyn's occupied by Kyanite makes thinking so much easier. Remembering something she's been meaning to do for a while now.

"Hey Ms. Channeler, this is Kyanite." Vy introduces her friend to the older lady that practically never moves from the front desk. "I'm signing her into Brooke's pickup list." She informs, putting Ky's full name where Vanity and Brittany's have already been scribbled down months before.

A warm smile is given from Ms. Channeler, just as she does with anyone that can hold a baby lovingly. "Nice to meet you deery." She greets, taking in another face and name to remember. With how many parents and children and family members she meets, it's not a difficult task. The three are obviously not looking for a chat so she doesn't hold them up any further. "Bye Brookie." And the front office becomes quiet again as the door closes behind them.

Even daycare's better then being stuck at home with Brittany all day. So just incase Kyanite's busy, maybe she could still drop off Brooklyn somewhere fun. "Figured you wouldn't mind." Vy states as they journey back in any which direction. "Now you can pick her up or drop her off if you ever need to." By the looks of it Kyanite prefers being around the little one though. No problem on Vy's end as she loves the sight and feeling to no end.

The only request from Brooklyn is to play, just as always. One great thing about toddlers is that they're not too hard to please. Couple of toys, or even just a yard entertains them. "Sounds about right." Vy gives off a chuckle to Kyanite's realization that Brooke's good with anything as long as playing's involved. For the next ten years that's how it's always gonna be, no question needed. By now Ky's catching on though as she predicts she'll be worn out by only a two year old. "Probably." Vy answers for the tiny tyke. It's a very logical conclusion.

Now to just determine where they're going. Given the park will certainly drain them both out, Vy suggests somewhere indoors. "Think we can just go to your house?" She asks, not wanting to impose but wanting even more to stay away from her place. Luckily Kyanite's already aware of the unpleasant company that resides at Vy's home. "Make lunch or something?" And like that the relaxing offer is made.

Right before we can leave, Vy has made the needed stop at the front desk of the daycare. As I hold on to the child, I watch Vy as she takes care of some necessary things with the woman. At first, I'm not paying attention because there's no need to. It's usually between the parent and the daycare worker to attend to their own business whereas I'm just here keeping her little girl entertained. It's easy for me to do as the child is all but thrilled to have me holding her, but a little pushy as she keeps leaning toward the door, clearly telling me what she wants to do and it isn't to stay here. Only then, am I introduced to the woman, and give her a gentle smile as I prop Brooklyn up on my hip but quickly switch sides as my back starts to feel a small pain from the angle. The child doesn't mind, but she still tries to lean over to touch the door.

As much as I am happy to meet the woman, there's a bigger need now for her to physically see and greet me. Vy's adding me onto the pickup list for Brooklyn. I can only assume it's because of the fact that she's at the academy most of the week and I'm the one who usually comes to pick Brookie up from her mom's whenever I want. It's become routine for me and Brookie to hang out at least three or four times a week inbetween my own school schedule and training. I still wouldn't have it any other way. The thought that Vy trusts me enough to put me down as a caretaker for the child in her absence is really an honor. I feel like I'm fitting into a second family although Vy and me have quite a start to our relationship.

Leaving the school has me feeling as high as a kite with joy. Not only that, but Brookie has put in her request to just play with me and I can't deny the child that need. Never have before, so why would I now? I do glance over to Vy when I think I've decided where I'd rather go and Vy makes that decision for me. "Brookie, we're going to go play at my house, alright? Play some hide and seek, Peek-a-boo?"

The game is something that I've made up when I'm around Brookie. Whenever I'd bring her to my place for a while, that's the game that she's turned out to love. She'll pretend to hide in the most obvious of places, barely covering herself or covering her eyes. When I go to find her, instead of saying 'Gotcha' or something like that, the game of peek-a-boo is played.

"Lunch does sound good. Oh, and Vy? Thanks... for trusting me with Brooklyn. You know, enough to be able to get her from daycare if I have to or something. That means a lot." I tell her, giving my head a small nod and a grin to go with it. Again, Brooklyns weight pulls again on my back and I'm shifting her to the other side again.

It doesn't seem long at all before we've reached my place, going into the cool air that feels so much better from the outside. Instantly, Brooklyn's dying to get down, so I place her on the ground and she lets out several squeals as she does her thing whenever she gets to my house. Usually, going right for the steps, but only ascending two before sliding down on her bottom the two steps and giggling. I have to hand it to the child though. It doesn't take much to entertain her. I give a nod in the direction of the kitchen and the food is prepared in no time and consumed with the same amount of gumption it took to make it.

Cleaning up Brooklyn and setting her loose again, I head up to my room for a moment to get changed into something more appropriate but with a note on the door, I halt. My eyes scan the small letter and with a shake of my head, I yell down to Vy. "Hey Vy! Guess what? House to ourselves for the whole night!"

I go in my room, get changed and head back down. The moment I get a look at Brooklyn laying on the couch, her eyes drooping with the need for sleep, I shake my head. "You know, Vy... we should see about getting some drinks for tonight. Wanna just stay over tonight? Dad's not going to be home. Jeran's not here. House to ourselves? Besides, first night you'll have with your baby and away from your mom." I try to make it sound entising to her to stay, though, I can only hope she's going to stay.

"Com'mon. It's not everyday I get to have a sleepover!" I tease her even though it wasn't but a few weeks ago that we all slept in a tent together, but that was so much more different than staying at someone elses home. "Do you want to go get drinks and I'll get Brooklyn to sleep, or you want me to go out and get them and you get Brooklyn to sleep?" I put the offer up.

Nothing sounds better then relaxing at Kyanite's house. A small treat of hanging out with only her and the little one as long as the boys of her family aren't occupying the place. Most likely they'll have other things to do, or at least hopefully. Because an opportunity to hang just the three of them has never really happened before, unless counting the time in the hospital and at the park. Still not nearly the same to the time they're about to have. Peace and quiet, and somehow even drama free. One great thing about a toddler is their repellence towards any such negative matter. They just tend to come with stress of their own, but luckily Brooklyn's not too difficult most of the time. Even good at entertaining herself, which makes another reason to why Ky's place absolutely perfect. Anything to be away from Brittany.

"Hide n' seek peek a boo?" Vy questions with a light chuckle. How odd that Kyanite's managed to warm her iced heart as much as Brooklyn does. Seeing their bond, the love towards her daughter that she thought she only had, she'd unable to explain it. All she knows is that she'll protect to keep this to no end. And to think the day's only just now starting. A genuine smile graces her lips for a change, her eyes continuously returning back to the two beside her. What a trooper, Ky's even willing to juggle the heavy weight of the two year old. Sure it doesn't appear that way from their looks, but after five minutes with one of them on your hip and it's much more then a workout. Doesn't look like she's interested in putting the Tyke down though as she juggles her from one hip to the other occasionally.

"Let me know if you want me to take a turn." The Blonde offers, though she's great with being off her mommy's duties for a few minutes. Doesn't mean Ky should be forced with them. Seems like she's more then happy with the role she's taken up though. Agreeing to chilling at her house before going off into her appreciation of being trusted with Brooklyn. Guess the gesture of putting her in the pickup list made a sweeter impact then expected. Honestly it was selfishly in Vy and her daughter's best interest. "You don't need to thank me for that." She clarifies that since it should really be reversed. "I'm just glad I finally have someone I can trust." There's an instinct to follow up with a 'with her', but Vy stops herself. There's more trust here then just with Brooklyn, though that alone would be enough. As screwed up as they both are, she couldn't be more thankful that she's actually formed such a relationship.

Walking straight to Kyanite's works out as great as everything else. Give her a feel on how to get to the daycare, though she probably knows her hometown by now. With Brooklyn joining them the chat is now filled with light hearted conversation and giggles. Actually the rest of the day turns out that way, and Vy doesn't mind in the least. As tough and sarcastic as she is, all of that changes when around the youngster. Not to mention this is both her's and her daughter's first experience at a real family event. The young adults tag teaming between preparing lunch and playing with the little one. It's a moment that Vy wouldn't trade for the world.

The meal's consumed and the little one's wiped up from her messy consumption. Not really lunch anymore as the time already reads six o'clock. It's true what they say about how having fun makes the time fly by. Because just like that the day's coming to an end. With Brooklyn distracted by a couple of toys Vy got out from her bag, and Kyanite upstairs to change, the Blonde takes initiative to take care of the dishes. Least she can do to show her gratitude towards all of this. In the mist of cleaning good news of an empty household for the night comes across her ears. "That's great!" She calls back, with the slightest hope that may even mean they can avoid Brittany for the entire night.

Just as Kyanite finished changing and retrieves back down the stairs, the kitchen's spotless and Vy's meeting her in the middle. The idea in her head doesn't even need to be given as the Brunette offers the idea of getting drinks and for the two to spend the night. As if Vy actually needed to be persuaded she's bribed with the chance of a rare sleepover. "I'd love for us to stay." She declares that the persistence isn't needed in the least. Like she'd bypass the chance of staying out of her house for a night, and the addition of Brooklyn makes it perfect. A warm smile is given to share her enthusiasm over this plan.

"Would you mind getting Brooklyn to sleep? I have a feeling I'll have better chance with getting the booze." Vy questions though the offer was given to her. Once again not an obligation she wants to set on Kyanite unless she's willing. "By the looks of it it won't be that hard, and I wanna pay anyways. Give back to your hospitality." There's such a need to give her hug, or maybe even a kiss....? She doesn't though, and only hits the road as soon as the clear's given that Ky's good with putting the little one to bed.

As exciting as it is to have company over, it's even more special when it's Vy and her daughter and the fact that my father isn't going to be coming home tonight. At least I don't have to worry about my father dictating my life tonight and I'm unsure of how he'll react to a baby in the house. Surely, he'd kind of freak out if she started to cry. He was never the kind of father to kiss away the hurt. He was stern and dictated a lot of what went on during our younger years. Normally, kids go to their mother for a quick answer that usually always resulted in a 'yes' or a 'no', but he always had the final say in everything. Vy even adds to the excitement when she exclaims it's great from the downstairs and when I see her, she's all but quick to give me a smile.

As if we'd probably had the same idea, I voice it first about getting drinks. It's all that I want to do right now. Drinking with Vy last time resulted in more than just a little peck on the lips. Of course, Matthew being around didn't help. This time, will it effect us the same way again? Without the temptation of my boyfriend egging it on, it won't happen again, will it? I push those thoughts out of my mind completely, declaring that was a one time deal. It has to be. What on earth could posess us to engage in that kind of act yet again?

"I'd love for us to stay." Is her answer to the question on staying tonight with me. It'll be fun to have her over. I've never had anyone to stay the night before. This will be interesting.

The offer that stands is thrown up into the air for Vy. Either she can go get the drinks or I can, but the person left behind has to get Brooklyn to sleep and seeing her tired eyes already, tells me I'm going to have it easy. Or at least I hope so.

"Sweet. Well, get a move on it. I'll take care of Brooklyn. Go on!" I shoo Vy out of the house as if she were a guest whose overstayed her welcome. Brooklyn, on the other hand, has other plans as I start to put her to sleep. Instantly, she refuses to mold to my arms and be rocked. Even if her eyes are tired, she fights the sleep as any child does, but after a few minutes, I finally get a good position with her laying against my chest, her arms strung around my neck nad her cheek on my shoulder. With one arm around her back and one to support her weight, it seems to take no time at all for her to doze off.

A makeshift song about a turtle whose found his speed is sung, while a bee that talks to a human is next. A gentle hum ends the tunes as the childs tiny snores tells me she's finally out of it enough for me to put her down to sleep. I carefully lay her on the couch and put one of the couch pillows on the one side of her so she won't roll over. With that set up, I race upstairs to grab a pillow and a blanket from the stash in my room and then set the child up with her sleeping arrangements. A gentle, soothing breathy rhythm keeps her under the spell when Vy arrives back. With a kiss on the forehead, and a hand that caresses her cheek very tenderly, I meet with Vy in the kitchen where the drinks are put out and shared.

"Brooklyn wasn't that easy to get to sleep. Does she always fight it like that?" I tell Vy to let her know about the difficulty it was to get her to slumber, but also remark how easy it was once she got that special spot to put her sleep. "... as soon as she got comfortable, she got put right under!"

Two beers in, the feeling of hilarity start to come out. Small giggles erupt from me as a game starts to make no sense at all between the two of us. "Never have I ever... fell from a roof in a thong." Again, the small giggles errupt and I place a hand over my mouth to cover my mouth as I try to swallow a gulp of the beer I took right after I took my turn. "How do we decide who wins? Whoever loses... has to ... ummm... kiss... uhh?" My mind blanks out and I shrug. The last gulp is taken as I go for a third. "Want another kiss..?" I shake my head with a smile. "TEasing! I mean, beer, Vy? There's still more left over and we need to get rid of them before my dad gets home. No clue when he'll be home int he morning."

I get up and head over to the kitchen and grab two more from the fridge, going back. "Brought you another one anyways. Your turn!"

For some odd reason all of this feels so normal. A common experience that everyone else in this district gets to have but Vy. Probably not true, only feels that way. The move down here has changed everything for her, and almost as much as even having Brooklyn. Unexpected friendships have formed, and special memories have been made. Another one is in the process of being created to. It's become something she wouldn't trade for anything. Hence her sudden eagerness to actually follow orders, scurrying out of the house like she's been told. The sooner drinks are purchased and the Tyke's asleep, the sooner the adult fun can start. Stupid drinking games, and unexplainable giggle fits. The genuine good times as she's recently discovered.

With Kyanite living closer into town it doesn't take much of a long walk at all to get to a store that sells liquor. The entire time her brain's wrapped around the possibilities of what tonight may hold, and how Brooklyn's behaving to being put to sleep. It's been noticed the little one seems to seance when excitement's about to be had and refuses slumber despite heavy eyes. Such as the nights Brittany allows Vy to go out only after the toddler's put to sleep. Hopefully she's not putting Ky through that right now, as they're probably both looking forward to whatever's about to come. She'll have to fall asleep sooner or later though, babies can't stay up that late as much as they want to.

Easily a set of beer to purchased and bagged, and within no time Vy's heading back. Man is it nice to only be a couple of blocks away from the nearest corner store. The walk back is as fast as the journey there, and she's graced upon a silent household as she enters. Not bothering to knock since it's only them three tonight. Can't risk waking up Brooklyn to. "Hey." Vy smiles along with her hushed voice, eyes set upon the Brunette that's looking over the sleeping toddler. The bag of goodies is held up to gesture that they should head to the kitchen to avoid disturbing the peace, though Brooklyn is a heavy sleeper. Better to be safe then sorry. A glance is given to the tiny Blonde that's off in dreamland, then it's off into the adult world themselves.

Two beers are set out and the rest are stored in the fridge to remain chilled. During the process of all this Vy listens in on Kyanite's small difficulty on getting Brooklyn down. "Only when she knows the night's not ending with her." She explains with a slight chuckle. It's very impressive that she managed it though. With how little she was gone, she's surprised a bigger fight wasn't put up, that the little one's actually snoozed away already. "Good job." A small compliments given along with a beer. And now for the night to really begin. Can't blame the rugrat, Vy wouldn't want to go to bed either.

Never have I ever, a silly little drinking came to get the sips going fast and some humorous secrets to be revealed. It's quite fun as it involves both intoxication and getting to know a friend better. "Why the hell would you be in just a thong on the roof?" Vy questions as laughter takes over and she doesn't take a sip herself. Has she even ever worn a thong? Probably not though she can't remember. Certainly there's been no falling off a roof in one though, for her that is. "And you know you keep making yourself lose." She informs with the chuckles continuing. Past three ones from her she's taken a sip, someone's eager to get drunk.

"Who ever finishes their drink first loses." The rules of the game are given though there really aren't any. Seems like the logical conclusion though. What the loser has to do comes up next, and of course Kyanite mentions kissing. Immediately Vy can feel her lips sliding across her cheeks and she tries her best to remove as much of her grin as possible. Why is it always kissing? "You and your lip lock." She decides to tease right back and a subtle eye roll joins in. Does she want another kiss? No. Of course not. She can't. Why would she? She shakes her head just as Kyanite does, laughing some more as they jinxed in a gesture. "I'm not losing as much as you." She points out when offered another beer. Though her bottle's beginning to run a little dry as well. Guess she just takes big sips.

More beer is brought over anyways. Not like Vy would object. "Thanks." For some reason manner's have been magically instilled lately. The last 1/3 of her previous bottle is downed in one large sip and she moves onto her fresh, cold one. "Never have I ever had to worry about my Dad coming home." Vy gives for her next one. It's all been about getting Kyanite to sip as she figured the game should be. And with the beer already buzzing her train of thought, she goes with whatever. The giggles remain lightly through all of this. "See, you have to get the other person to drink." A silly grin is given as she nudges Ky's foot.

I've never been good with drinking games, let alone 'never have I ever' because I've never really been close enough to anyone to experience it. Up until the last six months, my father wouldn't appriciate that kind of behavior in his house. So, right now, I'm getting to see what it feels like to actually have a decent friend and having all these experiences that are suddenly just falling into place. It's hard to think that Vy and I have gotten this close, this fast and it's been what? Three months? Maybe? Hardly any time at all, given the whole scenario started out with a night of fighting and broken bones. Since then, all has healed with minimal damage to hang on to. At least, non that alter our lives.

So, my ideas of questions has Vy giggling off her ass at me. Apparently, trying to get the other person to drink is the whole reason for the game, whereas my mind just goes blank on what to ask, so I just end up asking something that I know I have never done. Vy's good about giving me the proper instructions and I'm already thinking of what I can do to get her to drink, but new beers are needed so we finish off the rest of what's left in our old ones, in a few heavy gulps or something, before I come back with the next two.

My clouded mind is clearly just that. As much as I was clouded after drinking the amount of hard vodka that night at the campsite, it's just the same with the amount of beer in the short amount of time. Seeing as how it's something Matthew's mentioned to me once about kissing a chick, I had to put it up to Vy since she's the one it happened to be with. Of course, it was suppose to be all in fun though. It wasn't suppose to provoke any ideas or thoughts further than just a memory of the lip lock, as Vy calls it, that we shared twice. Matthew never seemed to mind at all, in fact, he was the one who egged on the second round of it.

With a simple 'thanks', the new, cold beers are opened and aligned with our lips. She gives off the example of how the games suppose to be played and since I just said something about being worried about my father getting home, she takes advantage of it. Automatically, a heavy gulp is taken as I have no other choise, and catch a rolling drop off my lip, making a sucking noise to make sure the drop doesn't go astray and end up being soaked up into my shirt.

"Good one. A Little bit of a cheat, so I'll use the same tattaic.. titic.. TACTIC... damn... I'll use the same tactic on you now..." With a heavy grin, I look back to the place where Brooklyn would still be snoozing and smile. "Never have I ever had to stay up late with a precious, little girl." I bring my bottle up and shake it, showing her that it's her turn to drink. I have no kids, and I've never kept Brooklyn over night, so that puts me out.

"I'm getting used to this game. See, not so hard. Just need the right directions to know what I"m doing." My head swims with the effects of the alcohol and I stand to get up, but stay still as the sudden rush of altitude goes to my head. "Give me your worse. The next question you make me drink on I'll take two, but it has to be good. Go on Vy... do you're worst!"

Now that the objective of the game is clarified, Kyanite's reworking her strategy. Silly games such as this one don't really maintain rules and regulations. Just a way to get to know one another a little better and get drunk in the process. There's the slightest goal usually to have the other person drinking instead of yourself though, if chosen to play that way that is. It adds in a bit mystery to figure out what will make the other person take a sip, and what topics have them taking larger ones. Maybe that's just a bit of Vy's personality as well. Never being the type to straightforwardly say something about herself but rather have whom ever's interested guessing, and vise versa. It's just more exciting that way.

Such as now for instance. Though Vy was simply going off the observation on Kyanite's worry over when her Father's return, her gulp for it says a lot more. That this isn't the first, or a rare, occasion being concerned over Mr. Ruze's arrival and knowledge of what she's done. Typical young adult behavior. Wasn't cheating to pull out that card, only curiosity. That can't be mentioned though as Ky distracts her with the struggle to put together the word tactic. Once again it has Vy cracking up like never before. So drinks bring out more then just drama and sexual tension, good to know. "Well alright." She declares her lack of being scared over her threat, taking an unnecessary sip just to prepare herself. Well this should be interesting.

The big payback is already predicted beforehand. There's only one major thing that sets her apart from everyone else in their group of friends, and she fully assumes that's going to be used. Kyanite does manage to shock her a little as she doesn't directly bring up the fact she's the only Mother currently. Instead it's an event only parents get to deal with, staying up late with a baby refusing its slumber. A quarter of her drink disappears since she's gone through that a countless number of times. Actually she should probably down the entire thing, though she refrains from doing so. Well now Kyanite's discovered a shit load of situations to dish out.

"Just you wait, your day will come soon enough." Vy warns with a light chuckle, sighing from her large intake. Another thing that she can assume is that Ky will also be experiencing motherhood one day. With how much she adores Brooklyn and cares for her, it has to happen. Especially if she sticks to sleeping with boys it's sort of bound to. She announces how she's finally getting the point to this pointless game, but Vy's mind is still off in their previous topic. "Do you want to have a little one of your own?" She genuinely asks even if it's not part of the game.

The drinking game does need to continue in between though. This is only their third beer and an entire twelve pack was purchased, half way through almost. The next round is hyped up on Kyanite's turn as she calls for doubles if it's a good one. What's considered good? "Never have I ever fallen in love with someone else's toddler." She smirks though it's not over her success for this one. The fact that Ky truly loves Brooklyn, as well as the other way around, is more then she could of ever asked for. Probably loving their bond as much as her own odd relationship with the Brunette. Someone else's being enhanced in her tone as she is most definitely in love with the rugrat. Who couldn't be? Now to only hope that was the sort of level Ky was asking for.

The ultimate amount of question can come from her having a child. So many situations that I've never encountered and probably won't for quite some time considering Matthew's lack of fatherly qualities. He's only just now adjusted to becoming a wonderful boyfriend, despite his quirks that makes me love him even more. That's something that I prefer over any other guy that can possibly try to make me like them. His personality isn't perfect, but being in his arms tells me more than anything else. I could care less for jewelry or flowers or anything he could ever give me in a physical form, it's more emotionally and mentally that does it in for me. The first guy to ever show me that the gender I most feared, would be one I also loved.

With my revenge, Vy's taken to drinking almost half the bottle before her lips part the top of the bottle. I can't help but roll my head back, letting loose laughter that echoes out, but quickly to put a hand over to silence myself. "Brooklyn..." I mention, hoping I've not woken up the child with my laughter, but as I wait for a moment, no sounds grace my ear and it's back to the fun. Though, Vy has her own comments that has me wondering, using my brain instead of going off the drinks that's only causing me to act upon the jokes and funny things.

"Me? Never. Can you imagine Matthew as a dad? Com'mon Vy, be reasonable. The guy tried to hide our relationship for the first month.. I think?" I shrug my shoulders, trying to think about what she said. I can't imagine right now at this moment if he would be a father or not one day. As different as we are, and we've already broken up once, isn't it only time before it happens again? First loves never last that long, unless they do and those people stay together forever. As much as I want it, it would be up to Matthew on this one.

Vy happens to divulge further into that statement from a moment ago, asking me now if I would want one. "Want one what? A baby? Maybe? One day. I dream of having a little girl of my own one day... to treat her as my mother treated me. Be there for her as she grows up... I won't leave her though... I'll make sure she gets to enjoy all the years with me she wants..." A bit of sad history for Vy to hear. It changes quickly though as she's found her way around my tactic to get me to consume the liquid. A quick 'Haha' is given as the bottle meets with my lips. Down the throat, the liquid is pushed to the point I need air. Unsure of why I need to go that far to give Vy an answer, but it's true.

"Not fair, Vy. That was sneaky. Brooklyn is like neice now... I love her to death and how could I not? You signed me on her pickup list, and you've relied on me when you're at the academy. Hard not to fall in love with that little squirt!" I take a few steps to the opening to check on the little girl. Her sleeping form still laying on the pillow I had ran upstairs to put under her head and the blanket still over her body, though one leg has seeminly moved out of the protection from the air and her leg hanging over the side of the couch. A gentle, "Aww" is released from me.

"Gotta go fix the cessprince.. I mean... princess before she falls off of the couch." I tell Vy, though, I barely make it anywhere, before my foot catches one of the toys left out, and the floor catches me. "Oww! Really?" A painful giggle escapes me as I roll to my side, rubbing harshly to the unfortunate landing on the hard toy. "That... will def.. bruise... Damn.." I hiss out.

This night is unlike any other thus far. More often then not these sort of occasions, with drinking that is, always maintain a fight which is usually physical. Alright, correction which is always physical. As if anything else is be to expected from a group of raging hormonal young career boys, with the addition of Vy. But with that Blonde around a battle in the ring is destined to occur. Except for now that is. Though alcohol is known to bring the warrior out of her, currently it doesn't. Actually the only things slipping from her is uncontrollable laughter. No desire to kick any ass, or even the feeling that she needs to be on her common guard. After all there's no need to put up a front to the one who's already fully aware of all her secrets, especially when only enjoyment is resulting from all of this.

Who would of known it's just as much fun to laugh away the night with a friend then to do a few rounds of boxing. Better late then never to figure it out though. Vy's chuckles finally simmer down as Kyanite's do, even if they don't actually need to worry about waking up the Rugrat. "She's usually out till the morning once she goes down." She reassures with a wave gesture to show her she shouldn't be concerned. That two year old can sleep through a tornado, let alone some loud giggles. Plus it'd be a shame if this release had to stop.

The baby discussion doesn't stop there as Vy's curiosity gets the best of her. It's so obvious to predict that one day Kyanite will have a little bundle of joy of her own. As for her boyfriend though? It has her chuckling up some more at the thought of Matthew having to be a parent. With how awkward he is with Brooklyn the majority of the time, it's hard to picture the same for him. Maybe one day? Maybe not. But Kyanite on the other hand has to be a mommy one day. She's so great with Vy's baby, it'd be a pity to keep that love from a potential future child of hers. Currently though her minds only wrapped around how young they are, and unprepared her and Matthew are, mainly Matthew. That's a good sign though. Like Vy said one day...

Just because Kyanite's not with the perfect future father doesn't mean she'll never have kids though, does it? By her words Vy's completely unsure as it almost sounds like she's off the idea of babies all together. Instead of leaving it at that she has to ask further, and straightforwardly at that. The beer has kindly taken those barriers of beating around the bush. They're close friends now, they should know a little bit about each other. And she's happy that she decided on simply asking, because before it sounded as if Ky didn't want any. That's clarified though as she shares that she wants to have a little girl of her own one day. Promising to give that child everything and every year. Now that sounds more like Kyanite.

"See, I told you your day will come." Vy points out though now soon enough has been left out. Looks like Kyanite wants to take the responsible route and wait for when she's ready. It would be cute to see Brooklyn with a best friend of her own, and for that kid to be Kyanite's would be absolutely precious. All being in future tense though, meaning they should probably get back to the present and their game. With all this baby talk Vy's next never have I ever turns out to be about none other then Brooklyn. Sweetly Ky gulps down a nice chunk of her beer in reply to this one, guess she does really love the tyke.

To make things even better the Brunette feels the need to list all the reasons why she loves the youngster. "How sweet." Vy comments with a sincere smile and a warm heart. So Ky's figured out how to make her soft, big deal. Any good parent understands the amazing feeling of seeing their child loved by someone other then them, especially when they're close to that someone. Speaking of the devil, Ky departs from her seat to go check on the sleeping beauty. Apparently the toddler has moved past the wall of pillows put up to protect her, leaving Ky to go adjust her. If only it was that easy, as the dark room must hold a set of booby-traps from the generous toddler.

A loud thump to the floor has Vy rushing from her own seat. "Are you okay?" She immediately asks as her eyes fall upon the dark figure on the floor. More giggles come forth as the alcohol doesn't allow for one dull, non-humorous moment. Quickly her focus go over to Brooklyn who's stirring upon the couch. Without a second thought she's by the Rugrat's side to sooth her back into the dream world. A light Shhh and a few strokes of thin blonde hair doing just that within seconds. "Close call. You okay?" She asks again with a light chuckle of relief, going over to her fallen friend to help her up. "Clumsy much?" Have to tease a little as she offers her a hand for support.

The alcohol has really effected my speech, not only are the bigger words difficult to sound out, it's starting to effect my balance. I just try play it off as I push off the wall to go fix Brooklyn, whose found a way to really trip me up on the way over. Some form of a toy catches my foot, and being the expert and graceful person I am, I find myself falling faster than one of the capital's bombs. My knee catches the toy with full force of the fall which explains the imense pain that radiates through my leg. Luckily, my senses are a little toned down thanks to the help of the liquid that i've consumed. It just doesn't take away the pain.

Rocking back and forth, my hands rubbing vigorously on the spot doesn't help at all. I just feel partial laughter as I let loose a few tears in the process. Hurting but it's funny. Yeah, wonderful combination as Vy came rushing in as fast as she could to help, but goes to Brooklyn instead, to keep the little champ asleep. At least, Vy appriciates the hard work it took to get the little tyke to sleep, so I'm not complaining much. Instaead, it just gives me the needed time to reallly sink into what's going on with my knee. The throbbing has yet to stop, and a knot is forming under my fingers. "Vy.... why are toys so hard?" I question her and use my hand to slide the toy away from me as I finally rest on my side and just try to breath through the pain.

With confirmation that Brooklyn is no longer in the red for waking, Vy makes her way back over to me. A hand extending to help me up, but I'd rather not if it means moving my leg. "It hurts...Vy. It really hurts. Ow!" I pout and look at her hand for a few more minutes. "... Toys are forbidden from now one." I tease her again, grinning from ear to ear as I take her hand and slide up, hobbling on my leg until I realize if there is pain to walk or not. A few steps in, it starts to subside, but I use the wall for support more than I try to let on. Back in the kitchen, I sit down and exam the deep bruise that's already forming along with the bump that's forming.

"Damn, Vy..." I shake my head and travel over to the fridge where I sneak into the freezer and take a few peices of ice, and grab one of the kitchen towels to wrap it up in. pLacing it on my knee, I look to Vy. "Wanna just hit the hay? She's out? I think its best I do the same..."

I end up muttering something about my ability to stay upright as Vy brings her arm to wrap around my torso for the first few steps as we take one more look to the girl sleeping on the couch, all snuggled up in the blankets and pillow. At the landing of the stairs, I take my own weight on my leg, even if the spot is a little numb. It's security to know I can walk on it full force. "YOur welcome to take the bed, if you wish Vy. I'll make a pallet on the floor or something." I offer it up, but the reply I get, counters the offer.

"No no no, you take you the bed. I got the floor." I shake my head. That totally defeats the purpose of it all, but as I look at he bed and stuff, I don't see why we both wouldn't be able to share. Might have to arrange the pillows differently or something but none the less, I just don't see any reason for either of us to take the floor nor either of us to take the bed. With a shrug, I limp over to the bed and sit, putting the rag back on my knee. "Thanks for staying tonight. Hate having such an empty house." I lean back against the pillow.

Priority number one was making sure the toddler didn't awake. If that were to happen the entire night could be interrupted for a whole hour! Lots of things would of changed if that were to happen. Luckily the fast reaction time from Vy has Brooklyn hardly peaking from her slumber. A huge relief at that. Sadly Kyanite's fall had to be put on the back burner which was one thing the Blonde didn't enjoy so much. All is well though with the Tyke asleep. Things can be made up and she's quickly by Kyanite's side to do just that. A hand being extended as she listen to the complaint over the rough toy. "I ask myself that everyday." Vy jokes with a soft chuckle as she awaits for her offer to be taken.

A pause is taken instead as Ky decides to complain over her encounter with a deadly toy. To hold back a chuckle is impossible as Vy finds it absolutely humorous, or at least drunk Vy does. The light giggles from the Brunette declares it's alright to. "Oh, come on." She teases, waving her hand around to be grabbed. Jokingly toys are now banned from the household. As if that could ever happen. "Brooklyn's not going to like that." Vy's comments as her own laughter remains fully present. Finally the hand for a pull up is taken, only to reveal a more damaged Kyanite then expected. With joyful giggles remaining, Vy still supports her into the kitchen. An automatic instinct is all.

Ice is captured and placed on the sore spot, and sadly the night's coming to an end. Guess it as time as the drinks are bringing them far past reasonable comprehension, and not waking Brooklyn is a must. Probably best. "Yeah, you're right." Vy agrees, unsure of where she's suppose to crash. Either way it appears that Kyanite's going to need some support upstairs, which is exactly what she goes to do. With an arm draped around her shoulder she's used as a clutch to help the partially wounded Ky to her bedroom. The closeness is simply giggly as they waddle through their journey. Grip remains tight to not allow Ky to fall down the stairs, and drunkenly they make it.

As if Vy would ever take someone else's bed, the offer's actually given. "No no no, you take you the bed. I got the floor." Is her automatic respond. The mattress at the academy is about to the same consistency anyways. Doesn't really matter the sleeping arrangements thought as both far-from-sober girls land upon the bed sloppily. The bed is so large, it'd be a shame to have one of them sleeping uncomfortably. That can be decided later though as they both relax for now. All Vy can concentrate on is the words filling her ears. "Yeah, it's nice being with Brooklyn in a home without Brittany." She comments, a smile gracing her lips like never before. This is all too perfect.
