Evan's build is almost something to frown upon. In district six, you would expect a child that is tall, well fed with toned muscle, in a boy. Evan is nothing like that. Born and raised in a poorer part of the district, Evan already didn't have much to eat, but to make things worse, he was naturalized to be small. Barely topping out at 4'7 and 65 pounds, Evan is noticeably smaller than his peers. His arms and legs are bone thin, since they lack the muscle off most boys or even most girls his age. He has shoulders that curve way downward, showing he doesn't have much room to muscle up. He wears tighter clothes, usually a pair of sweatpants and a tight t-shirt that are very simple.
His face is rather pointed and slim, with a slightly better than average tan. His hair is a wavy blond color and used to be flipped up, but is now long and ragged. He has eyes that are a dark blue, like a pond that have desperation written all over them. His nose is pointed as well.
Personality:
Evan likes trying to make people laugh, even if he isn't that funny. He realized quickly in school that the funny people get through the easiest, but didn't succeed making him a quieter kid than most. This gave Evan an almost permanent shyness from other kids his age that has slightly receded through the years.
Evan is very caring, and will always deal with a person with a problem. He doesn't like to just sit and listen to someone be sorry for themselves, he likes to try to help. He also can understand how people feel, so he knows what they are going through. This leads Evan getting to attached to some people, even if he doesn't want to, and not wanting to lose them, not matter what, and becoming overly protective of people that he cares about.
On top of all this, Evan is arrogant. He thinks he is the best, even if he isn't. Just because he is one of the faster kids in his grade and has the best aim with toy guns, baseballs, you name it, he thinks he is the best. He'll walk into almost any situation thinking he'll come out victorious.
History:
As a kid, Evan was a model child. He was smart, decently athletic, and good at most things he did. At school, most kids wanted to be him. But as he got older, this went away. He became the runt of the boys, and they matured into not thinking he was funny anymore. This dropped Evan off being the most liked second grader for sure.
A year after this, Evan had the most traumatic event in his life happen that would make him never want to pick up a gun again. One day, he was walking home from school when he heard screams inside the house. He ran in, and saw his mom was being held in one arm by a man that seemed to be robbing the house. Acting on impulse, Evan picked up the gun the man had left on the table for some reason and shot him. But once he was shot, he had to suffer before dying, showing Evan what a gun could do.
Just as Evan began to think less about this experience he broke into middle school. This meant it was time to start practicing in his districts industry, science. Evan was only average in science for his district, meaning he was pretty good at it. But would that be able to get him a job? He couldn't just mooch off of his poor familly.
A few days after his fathers loss of his job, his dad, Karl Jackson, knew he needed to teach Evan how to hunt. While teaching Evan how to shoot a bow, he was taken and tortured by peacekeepers. Evan and a boy named Mylies came to his rescue, but were to late and just came to see his death, a horrible bloody death. Evan was in between denying his death and being deppressed about it. But the next morning, he woke up to see his father alive and well. This experience has damaged him severely.
This was just too much for Evan, he couldn't bear to live in Six by his poor family anymore. He volunteered for the Hunger Games too either win, or be away from this. Or even start a rebellion.
