[Willow]

Willow loved going out to the flower field even though it wasn't allowed she did it anyway but than again she didn't fear being killed by a peace keeper shed prefer it over dying from her sickness. the day had been long but it was her break she had been running low on money and food so she hadn't been eating so she was starting to feel sick, she always thought flowers were her best friends so she sat in the middle of them under the willow tree ... the tree her parents named her after she always hoped she would be buried under it when she died. sighing she talked to the tree unaware of anyone around her. "willow i don't wanna die for this sickness, i wanna save someone, help someone anything i wanna give back instead of always calling for help .... Ive decided im going to be in the games hopefully im chosen or at the very least im going to volunteer ... there at least i can save someone ..... and not die from this , helpless and pitied instead ill be honored and someone that will be given thanks "

Clover walking through the flower fields. Even though her family were rich, they were suffering too. She had hardly anything to eat in the cupboards but some gone off bread and a plate of some berries. Everyone had been straving lately but Clover never thought for a moment that it would effect her. She wanted to help people that were less fortunate then her. She came across many clovers, the plants that werwe named after her, and notice someone sitting under a willow tree. Her lips were moving but Clover noticed that there was noone about. She didn't know if the girl was talking to the tree or to herself. Being her cautious self, she hid behind an oak tree and watched what the girl was doing. She looked very pale for someone from District 11 but everyone that she knew was looking like that lately. Clover approached the girl slowly and tried to put a smile on her face. It hardly worked but it would have to do. "Erm, excuse me but who were you talking to exactly?" Clover asked as she stood next to the girl.

Willow jumped startled by the girl who had come up beside her. she didn't really recognize her but than again willow didn't get out much especially now that the food famine has worsened leaving many hungry and sick. willow was no exception her stomach growled her head hurt her body felt weak every thing was going south. willow remembered as a child eating clovers and different plants found on the outskirts or town but she couldn't bring her body to move not even now. looking up at the girl her sickness showed even threw her smiling face. her head was sweaty from her fever her lips a very pale pink hinging on the brink of white and her eyes screamed that she was sick. But no matter what willow was determined not to ask for help she was stronger than this and could make it . "i was talking to the willow tree " she said her voice so soft and vulnerable it was hard to hear. the wind picked up taking her hair with it and casting it in her face but she didn't move it her body wanted to rest so she let it by staying still and waiting for the girls response

The girl was very sick. Clover could tell by her face. Her lips were too pale and her forehead was sweating. Clover also heard the girl's belly rumbled and soon realized that the girl was starving. Clover had a bag with her but she had left it where she was hiding. "You look hungry, wait here a sec." Clover realised how stupid that sounded. Of course she wasn't going to move, she's too ill. Clover ran towards her shoulder bag and took out a loaf of bread that was in her bag. She had taken it from the cupboard at home but her parents would properly be angry if they found out she took a loaf of bread without asking. She walked back to the starving girl and split the loaf in half. She gave half to the girl. "Here, eat this. I know you're hungry but you needed to eat." Clover put a chunk into her mouth and waited for the girl to eat her piece.
