It has been a few weeks since the reaping,and my mother is so happy.She becomes happy once a year,and that is for the Games.She throws parties,puts money on bets,you get the idea at how far she will go for theses Games.Her life dream is for me to be chosen,but sadly,I wasn't,sorry to dissapoint Mommy Dearest.But I am relieved.I take a walk down the shopping area of District 2 and watch as a girl gets mugged and attacked,and no one is doing a thing about it,so I do.I run towards the man and jump on his back,put him in a twist,and pepperspray him in the eyes."Are you alright?",I ask the lady.
