Appearance:
The first thing people tend to notice about Flux is that he seems out of place. With his constantly tan skin (even during winter) and freckles littering his face, Flux should seem like he belongs in District Four, with all the other surfer dudes and girls.
But alas, he lives in District 1.
The next thing people tend to notice is that his eyes seem to stand contrary to his personality, with a slate grey color that honestly makes looking him in the eyes a little bit of a depressing thing to do. However, the rest of his features tend to go along with his wild and party-animal personality.
Besides his eyes, Flux has semi-long hair that's always a little messy no matter how many times he tries to comb it (though he often doesn't even try that at all).
Personality:
In a family of five, theres bound to be a bad apple in there somewhere.
Flux is that bad apple.
When he's not in school (Which is honestly quite often), Flux can be found doing one of the following things.
- Drinking
- Partying
-Partying and Drinking
Seriously, Flux is that kid. You know, the one that everyone goes to if they want to have a little fun, get drunk, possibly smoke (probably smoke).
But no one goes to him for help with personal issues.
And honestly, Flux doesn't want that. He never wanted to be the person that people actually trusted their personal problems with, he had found out early in life that that would only lead to other problems that needed to be fixed and ultimately it would just end up a tangled mess that needed to be solved. He didn't want that.
Though, on the surface Flux is a great person, with a heart made of vodka- I mean gold. He's nice enough, and fun to be around when it's just fun you want, but other than that he doesn't have much to really brag about in his personality.
Flux is sort of a fallen angel type of guy, who came from strict and harsh beginnings and ended up the wild-child of the family.
History:
Strict parents raise wild children[/b][/blockquote]
Flux's life, personality, and antics can attest to that saying.
Born into a middle-class family from District 1, Flux's name came from the fact that the family was in a constant state of change.
:::Flux: a continuous change:::
With his father recently gaining a job producing one of the many luxury items that the Capitol just loved to get their hands on, the Bangshire's quickly went from their small and cramped home to a larger, nicer, and more spacious home that could easily fit the five of them.
However, with this recent upgrade came the hidden responsibility of raising Careers to fight in the Games, if chosen of course. So, trying to fit in, Flux's mother and father did just that. Within weeks a new and harsh set of rules adorned the door of the Flux's pantry, a set of strict and perhaps too harsh rules.
Training began hard and never stopped being that way. There were no sick days or off days. They were going to be careers and they already weren't up to par with their classmates. They needed to get there, and fast. At first, Flux actually enjoyed the training, his young age making him easily influenced and as a result made him think the training was what he should be doing.
However, with age came Flux's very own personality. And with that personality came the unorthodox and chaotic need to defy his parents. His daily training sessions would find him to not be there, often skipping the training sessions and instead choosing to hang out with a crowd that was less than desirable for a Career.
You can imagine his parents reaction.
Though, another part of Flux's personality shone through during his weekly lectures from his parents and the groundings.
He never learned.
No, not book smarts. On that half, Flux was actually quite smart when it came to school, always managing to get high grades even when he wasn't there that often. He never learned his lesson, per say. Every time his parents would yell at him he'd be good for a few days, before immediately going back to his old tendencies.
And he still hasn't come to "grow up", according to his parents. And honestly at this point his parents may have just given up all together on the boy, preferring to focus on their good children instead of the boy that never learned.
Good, whatever. He likes it that way anyways.
Codeword:
Odair
Other:
Although he may seem like the kid that no one really likes, Flux seems to be on good terms with most of his classmates in the district, and often holds parties that keep him on those same terms.
