Appearance:

He has short blonde hair and very pale white skin, he has a lot of freckles and he is short, infact shorter than all of the kids in his school. He has dark blue eyes and a large red mouth, almost like blood and often mistaken for it. His arms are long for a short person and he has no facial hair yet. He looks young for his age also. He also has a small scar on his chin which was a accident he cant remember. He also has a flat nose which he can barley smell with. His ears are kind of pointy and  he is often dirty from being outside a lot and his dirty house.

He is very picky with his clothing, he hates formal wear because he thinks its uncomfortable and usually likes to wear his plain white t-shirt (which is often has stains and his blue jeans. He is never seen with shoes unless he is at an important place or school. which in those cases are red sneakers. If he is not wearing what he is wearing he is either naked or in is pajamas because he refuses to wear anything other than what he has. He hates anything around his neck such as necklaces.

Personality:

He is a very slobbish,kind-of lazy kid who is very poor and antisocial. He is against the hunger games, which he thinks is for the entertainment of rich,snobby idiots from the capitol and he also thinks is morally wrong which is one of his very few morals he has. He is often paranoid that he will get reaped and die in the hunger games which is a fear for him. However he would like to go out and see the world which the Government of Panem would not let him unless he goes into the hunger games.

He was never really popular at school but he has a couple friends who he hangs out on the outskirts of his village with. He often wonders what is outside of District 7 and feels he is trapped in a bubble in his small village in District 7 He is kind of mean to everybody that is not his friends or his father. He loves his father because he has a similar personality to him but they do not really talk. His 2 friends are also similar to him and the frequently take a walk deep into the forests of District 7.

When he thinks of his future he thinks he will become a lumberjack and make just enough money to live, he doesn't mind being poor because he loves being self-sufficient and hanging out in the forests. He often thinks anyone outside of his Circle are not worth his time and are uppity idiots. He loves District 7 but he wishes it would not be in the Hunger Games. Also, he often wonders what the past was like and wishes he lived there. He also has a very conflicted opinion on girls, he wants one but at the same time he stereotypes them to be snobbish.

History:

He was born in a village in Southern District 7 to a Lumberjack father and a stay at home mother. His mother died 3 months after he was born so he has no memory of her at all, So he is/was raised by his mostly absent father because his father works hard in the forest chopping down wood for the capitol not because his father wants to but because his father cares deeply for Dustin. He often got into trouble as a little kid, throwing temper tantrums when he didn't get what he wanted and even threatening to kill another kid that annoyed him. He was often naive of the Hunger Games during this period of his life.

When he started school he was made fun of for looking ugly, because of this he often picked fights with other kids and became a very good fighter (much to the dismay of his teachers). He was soon climbing trees and swimming without a problem before the other kids in his village could. When he was 8 he had to attend his first reaping, he then learned of the Capitols lies and tyranny.From that day forward he hated the Capitol with all his heart. He started to mature then even for his age about that subject.

Later on, he started to lose interest in nature and became kind of lazy, his fathers wage had also been cut down even though he did not mind himself he felt sympathy for his father. When he was 13 he started to have thoughts of running away to the wilds but he does not feel its worth the risk, for now.The next year he basically did what he usually did, going to school and taking walks with his friends deep in the forest at his fathers workplace. At is last reaping he thought he heard his name getting reaped but it was just a voice in his head.
