Black blood spills like ichor, the purple sheen and the feeling of anger burning over them. A haze of their clan in their eyes as they can feel the rage coming through. Mitch roars with his entire chest, their last stand before Car has to push them away by force. "You will perish here." Mitch says out to the world.

A man behind a screen laughs at the ferocity, the intelligence, but also the stupid strength of these beasts. His eyes narrowed as he stares at the screen, hitting a button as the beasts roar out. A pounding of their chests. No one knew what was going through his head, but Saber Bancroft had known the yetis were a success already. Their black blood with purple flashes made his eyes widen in realization as his own experiments were surely coming through perfectly. A smile bleeds on his lips as Jake's own follows suit in the same way.

This was getting fun.

"We have to leave! Get your attacks in, but you're being infected by it, Mitch." Car's voice echoes along the forest lines with heavy roars. Jake steps forward, grabbing Car by the arm before speaking. "One more taste of blood and he'll be fine Car. We'll leave after." The two brothers nod as all three descend on their opponents, bravery in their eyes. Kairos. The perfect moment. The clan itself would praise them for their mission. They'd come home with food, whether it's the fleshy ones or not. That is their purpose, but they could feel the -redacted-. All they had to do was hold out for Mitch's sake.

Your body sways, not quite off-kilter, as a plant sways in the water. The curves of your throat like a calla lily, soft hands, soft as silk, softer heart, ivory palms slick with red. Hot as sin, emotional quicksand, something cruel in you looks at December and thinks why do you go where you're not wanted?

The voice has brown eyes and a straight nose, eyes as cruel as your mother's. He said it to you a lifetime ago.

You look at Brody, and consider a million things.

You press your palm against the fresh wound on your arm and your anger glitters irresistibly, turns your eyes sharp, and you set your jaw the way Brody taught you to square your feet. You throw your axe as you spring forward, unwilling to die without a fight, following the path that it takes towards the one that has been shredding you apart. You dart past Brody, past December, two blonde haze's you refuse to focus on again. White bird in a blizzard, you're an imperceptible flurry of movement for just a second before climbing onto the back of the creature.

You've had enough.

You scream as you reach forward, all agony, all hope, and search for the things eyes sockets to use as handholds.
