It's hard to see past the gas mask, I know. I should probably apologize, for all the things I've done, What could he ask of her though? Running has fingers through his hair he just sat and watched, dark eyes trained on the woman he knew he needed to apologize to, knew he needed to say he was sorry. Would she accept an apology? This colour is for when I am moving about and getting on with my life. I pick up a spoon and examine my reflection in it, as one hand rests on the table of our kitchen. It also describes what I can see, though doesn't give my opinion on it. Across the table from me, a doctor with narrow eyes and and even narrower opinion of me looks anxiously on. However, I am too absorbed in my distorted reflection to noctice. This colour is for my thinking, and my perspective on a certain event. Is this how everyone sees me? A silent, but horrifying crazy, too dangerous to be approached closer than this? This colour is for when other people speak, and also what I hear. "So, Ms Shnow. Would you like to tell me how you feel today?" Veronica peers around the corner of the doorway and stares at me with tired eyes. I know she wants me to behave myself. This white-coat should leave now. Fury raises its alert head deep down in my mind and images of what I could do to him blur my vision. This colour will indicate when I am having hallucinations or daydreams about fire, and its effect on people. Sometimes it will be a gradient. I could crack the skin from his face and listen to his screaming, and smell his blistering flesh and taste the evaporating sweat rise from him as he burns and watch his bone swell and shake from exposure to my heat. All with just one tiny match. But I am doing this for Veronica. I smile serenely, and raise my glinting eyes to meet his. This is what it looks like when I speak, and what others hear. "Oh yes, I'm fine. I've been simply burning for this meeting." He puts down his clipboard, and Veronica gives me a teary smile of thanks.
