Here comes my cheesy awesome post, prepare thyself.

So... I joined this site on August 5th which, I know, is not very long ago. What makes it more remarkable is that I feel so very at home on this site. There's so many members, more than on any other site I've ever been on (or any of those sites combined!) I thought that given that fact, there would be little to no time for any social interaction.

Ever since I started roleplaying, two and a half years ago, I've been to many, many roleplaying sites. I think that most of us must have done so. On many sites, I've found the staff members hard to deal with. Sometimes they were too harsh or too full of themselves. Some even forgot that a site is made up of members and not solely of staff members.

I don't think a roleplaying site should be a place where when you sign in, it feels like you have to complete a chore. It should feel like the hobby/besttimeofmyday it is. Members should feel comfortable around the staff and liked by the community. I genuinly feel liked on this site. (Although that may be just a figment of my overly active imagination.)

I've been on a site on which the staff members literally scared the other members. Many were too afraid to even ask something, for fear of being shot down or even banned for so much as voicing their own opinion.
On the same site I got into a huge argument for creating a gay character. Apparently, I was at fault? The staffers finally told me that it might offend younger roleplayers. Which I find ridiculous. I had to change my characters sexuality.

I was and am still surprised at how open, how friendly and how real everyone is on this site. I think that the staff on this site are all incredible. I can't believe how much time and energy they dedicate to the Hunger Games, to the board and to the members. And somehow they still manage to stay friendly.

I am so glad that I found this site and that I joined it. That I was taken up in a friendly manner. That I love the members on this site.
The staff members on this board finally deserve a chocolate sundae to be called staff.

Thank you Lulu, Aya, Wolf Tears, Luna, Saph, Thundy, Cinder, Matta, Photobooth and Tori for being plain wonderful.

*exhales* Phew. I'm done!

But awww, thanks Meeka, Doctor, and Hayley. =] We're a happy staff because we have awesome people to hang out with on the cBox and to RP with. Which is, of course, you all. =] Anyways, we're equally grateful for you all being here as your posts express above. I think every single person contributes an aspect of their personalities to the site to make it what it is, so many thanks for your contributions.

So yeah. =] [I'll keep speaking on behalf of the staff] but we love you all very much -- it makes me happy to see so many people SO involved in the Hunger Games, tribute or not.

Well, as always, we like keeping this place nice and cozy. I like to say that our layout isn't horse-RPGish (have you seen those site layouts? They're crazy) because I like our site to seem busy and cozy -- which the orange helps give off these days. And, of course, our sheer numbers scare people off, but really, it reflects how awesome you all are. How could we be nearing 1000 members (AGAIN) with almost 100 members on per day? Seriously, someone else asked this with an incredulous tone. And it's because of you all, Meeka, Hayley, Doc, and others. Some people have actually expressed their desire in stealing you all to be their own site's members.

Anyways, I went on a super-tangent there. Thank you, all three of you, for the posts. =] And well, I hope you all continue to feel like this site's your second home. Let us know if anything should be changed! =]

I... am not going to go over 100 words on this post because if I write any more than that, it'll end up becoming a love novel dedicated to too many people, and the last time I checked, that was heavily frowned upon by society. But yes, in a way, I love this community like the way I love you all but Aya doesn't want my love. :3 I seriously get a morale boost just thinking bout the site when I'm driving back home from a hard day at school. So... thank you all. ^^ (99 words... Yes! :3)

Humour aside, I really do want to thank the staff of this site. Just being a member on this site is crazy enough! And thinking about having to deal with all the work, the additions, the suggestions, the complaints...I'm not really helping the cause, am I? =/

But seriously, y'all are so awesome. Not just the staff but this whole community. For one thing, you guys have definitely helped me see things in a different way. You guys are just...ack, I have to stop using "awesome". It's getting a bit repetitive and it just kills this whole post. >.>

Restart! About the community: You guys have helped me out so much. Just talking to all of you on the cbox makes my day. I can be stressed out, or feel like I'm stuck and not moving anywhere, or just plain ready to break down after everything. But one visit to here and Poof! It's all better. =) And please, don't get me started on how you guys have helped me with my RP-ing and charrie making skills. Pushing past the limit is a good thing, and you guys have definitely helped me out with this. So keep up all the good work and know that we love you no matter what you do (unless there is some banning involved but that's a personal issue ).
