Yes! There is a Difference!

So most people think rednecks, hicks, and hillbillies are all the same thang. Those people are very wrong. Let's take a look, shall we?

Rednecks:

Rednecks are just those flat out annoying people usually from the South that drive you up the wall. These people can also be from places like West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Kansas. All they drink is beer and all they eat is beef jerky. They all drive pickup trucks (preferably red), and these pick up trucks usually have those monster truck wheels that raise the cab many more feet off the ground. Usually naturally red in the face, these people wear craploads of camoflauge for no apparent reason. Their voices are also generally annoying as they changed the normal Southern drawl into a New York style Southern gibberish. Theyre not that smart either, usually in the 45th to 65th percentile of state tests.

Hicks:[/u]
They are very similar to rednecks minus a couple things. Hicks usually dont do that monster pickup truck thing, which makes them seem a bit more sensible. They do, although, spend obscene amounts of money on football games. Aside from these two things, theyre relatively similar to rednecks.

Hillbillies:
Hillbilles are nothing like rednecks or hicks. Rednecks are generic Southerners. Lets just say that hillbillies are sassy southerners. Theyre the overall-wearing, rusty pickup-driving, "Hey Ma!" kind of people. They usually refer to their elders as Ma, Pa, Pappy, Grandpappy, and Nana. Usually found with one overall strap off the shoulder in a fashionable way, some of these people are a bit bowlegged like cowboys. Lastly, theyre the kind of people that will yell at you from across the store "Whooo-weee! Look at this here fine Ah-pple Ah-pod, Ma!"

There is a difference but I disagree with your difintions:

Rednecks:
Rednecks are famous for having a gun shed larger than the home that they actually live in. Many people find it odd that their homes have wheels and they're cars don't. If they do have a working veihicle, it will be a giant truck that will have some kind of antlers or horns mounted on the front. It's common for their beards to bigger than their IQ. They usually live in SEC region (Southeastern conference) and know of only 4 sports football, fishing, hunting, drinking. They do not have that southern drawl that a lot of people like, but their first language is actually profanity.

Hicks:
Hicks are ranchers, and almost always come from Texas. They have more alike with Rednecks, like their passion for the big 4 sports, than Hillbillies, but are clearly more respected. They are deeply religous, usually baptist and very unforgiving. Hicks are the traditional southern gentleman.

Hillbillies:
Hillbillies usually live in the country side west of Texas, though they baisically live in wood cabins in the middle of nowhere. They are usually ex-miners, or decended from prospectors, and are notorious for less than great teeth. Overalls are the fashion statment for hillbillies, and they wear them proudly... for weeks at a time.

Well anyway, apparently the internet needs to read this, if you say you're from the south USA they automatically classify you as a redneck. It's really annoying.
