[Current Location: Running through the forest]

Days like this depress me, the burning sunlight, much too bright. It leaves my eyes searching for shade, had i not been under the shade of the trees, i doubt id have made it more than two days. Ive been in the safety of the trees for a mere few days, but it feels like a few long years. Ive seen no other signs of human life, though the forest is abundant with wildlife, er, food. I feel a bit bad about leaving my home, my family, but i was depressed and had to get out of there. Ever since he left, i havent smiled, or even talked much. Its been a month, i think... I choke back tears as i travel what i assume is south, towards anywhere...

I just past what looks like the same stump i saw yesterday, a horrible thought occurs to me, what if ive been traveling in a damned circle? In a desperate attempt to get out, i begin running, the tears flowing from my eyes, I reach to wipe them, If i ever saw someone crying id say they were weak. And that is one thing im not, is weak.

Elias Grave
I walk through the forest, knowing it like the back of my hand. It was quite sweltering, so I decide to take off my shirt. i stuff a corner of the fabric in my back jean pocket, letting it hang there. I take my hand and wipe my forehead from the sweat. I haven't been near water for a couple of hours, and my canteen is running dry. I should probably head back home, but I wanted to eat more than the squirrels and rabbits I've been always catching. I wanted big game. That's when I heard a sob...

[pisa]

I break through a clearing in the trees, the fbillionth of many ive seen. I hear a tune being sung or hummed, who knows. But i dont stop to check who is there, if they want to kill me, id tell them to go ahead. I keep running, past who i presume to be a girl.. I keep going, running, not fast but fast enough that anything she may have said slipped past me. I break back into the trees and practically run into a boy.. A really tall boy, tears in my eyes i look up and squint at him.. Im right in front of him.. "I-i *sniff* am so-*sniff* sorry," i tell him...

[broegan]

The sniffs kept getting louder and louder. I look around, wondering where the sad sobs were coming from, then BAM. The source of the noise runs right into me. She sniffles a sorry in my direction and I look at the poor girl... "Don't apologize." I tell her, grabbing her by the shoulders. This was odd... Usually girls were disgusted by my bare sweaty skin. "Why don't we sit you down? It's not safe running around the the forest, especially upset." I tell her.

[pisa]

"Im not -sniff- running around -sniff-, im looking for someone, -sniff-" I tell the boy as he attempts to sit me down on a nearby log. "Real-sniff-ly im fine," i tell him, reassuring him more than myself. "Please, i need to -sniff- f-find him," i say, but i give up and just put my hands up to my face attempt to dry the relentless tears.

[broegan]

I hand her my white shirt that was hanging out of my pocket to use as a tissue. "Really, you don't look that okay. And who are you looking for? Not many people hang around here to be honest... You might be a little off track?" I tell the girl. There's no way anybody would be here if they didn't have to be... "I'm Elias, by the way." I say, trying to make the girl feel better.

[pisa]

He nads me his shirt, but i shake my hand at it. I wipe the tears from my eyes for the fifth or so time, and try to calm down, the sniffles have stopped, so maybe i can control my emotions to get through one conversation. "Hi, Elias, Im Brit," i tell the boy, the very tall boy. "Yah, i probably am off track," i tell him, truth is, i knew id never find him out here, but not looking makes me even more depressed than i am already... "His name's sam by the way," i tell him, maybe he's heard of or seen him, doubtful...

[broegan]

"Can't help you there." I reply, "I haven't seen anybody for a looong, long time. Where are you from?" I ask the girl. She definitely wasn't a wanderer. I wonder why she was looking for this boy?

[pisa]

I flinch at his words, telling me he hasnt seen sam. "Two," i let out in a gasp. I stand up from the log and feel like breaking into my crackers. No i couldnt, id still need them because im not going back until i find sam. Ever.

[broegan]

She gets up and I just watch her. District Two? That's a long ways away... Who was this Sam guy and why was he so important? I hear her grumbling stomach... Poor girl. Crying takes a lot out of somebody. "Are you hungry?" I ask her...

[pisa]

"No," i tell him, calmed, and thats when i hear my stomach, practically roaring at me for lying. "Okay, maybe a bit," i tell the boy who calls himself Elias. "So Elias, how doesnt on reach the ocean from here?" i ask him.. Maybe sam's there, he mentioned it a few times, and how much he loved it, it could be my winning bet... Right?

[pisa]

"Huh?" i ask, "Oh, nothing," i tell her, ive already recovered from the crying. "Im.. er, Brit," i tell the strange blonde girl. Oh, this is the girl who had been humming or whistling before, does she not know to leave people alone when they're upset, that maybe they dont want an audience...

[pisa]

"Do i know you?" i ask her as she calls my name out like greeting an old friend. I back up a bit and I look up to Elias, im lethal with numerous weapons, but this girl is a bit strange, I walk closer to him, sort of for protection i guess...

Brit and I stand up as soon as another girl is in view. I have been so alone for the longest time, and now TWO girls? What... The girl had seemed to know Brit, and Brit didn't know how. She backs up a little, closer to myself. I feel like putting my shirt on...

"Sam's brit? Sam!" I yell. "You've seen him!" oh no the tears are going to come again. Here they come. "Where, where is he!" I ask her franitcally..
