Davina Hease was a girl easily amused by the simplest of things. And pain was one of them, so long as she knew she was causing it. Trouble was another. She glanced down at the address to the ship's location. She recalled finding it on one of her targets. An invitation to a wedding on a distant island. It sounded like fun, and since she was in town she might as well stop by. Who would really notice that one person didn't show up? Or that another came who wasn't supposed to be there?
She crumpled up the paper and threw it off the ship. Her hands were on the cold railings and she inhaled a deep breath of salty air. The opportunity to visit the ocean never came often to her, so when she had the chance to do so, she did. Her brown hair was blowing freely in the wind and she didn't bother to tie it back. The sun shone down on the ship making her fell glad that she decided to wear short sleeves. Not that it would have made a difference if she wore long, she wouldn't have minded removing it..
If there was one thing Davina didn't like about the idea of boarding the ship, it was the search beforehand. They refused to let her board with anything other than her clothes. That meant she was currently weaponless. It made her feel uneasy. But if she was checked, than so was everyone else. That at least made it a little better.
As she looked around the ship, Davina realised that as crowded as it was, it was as crowded as she expected it to be. Still. Her eyes searched the faces, looking for someone familiar. She wondered who the bride and groom were. Maybe it would be best if she satyed hidden in that case. The brunette turned and hurried quickly around to the other side of the boat where it was less populated. She tripped over something she hadn't been aware of and caught herself. "Shit." Davina turned to see what it was, hoping no one noticed. All she cared about now was getting to the island.
