Accident in the Orchards (Open)(Romance?)

[Morgana]

Chasslin Montgomery woke to the slow, steady breathing of her sister Frell, beside her in the bed. "Wake up, Frell,"she said. "We have work today." Her sister stirred in bed. Chass left her to wake up in the slow way that she did. The table was set for breakfast by the time Frell was out of bed.
"Where's Papa?" Frell asked.
"He already left." She set a steaming bowl of grain in front of her sister. They ate together in silence, then washed the dishes, following the same routine as always. Then they walked together down the worn path to the orchard.
"We've got Apples today,"Chass told her sister. They passed through the gate and headed for the Apple Orchard. They found the row they were to start on, and Chass climbed the first tree. Frell stayed below to catch the apples her sister tossed down to her. They worked steadily through the morning. Chasslin's thoughts, however, were not on her work. She was thinking of other things. The low level of grain they had left, the few rotting fruits in the house, and the window that was jammed open, letting a cold trickle of air into the house all night long. Suddenly, she slipped on the brach she was standing on. Her hands flew about wildly, searching for something to grab on to. But in a matter of seconds, she was falling, falling, the ground rushing up to meet her...

I was walking around skipping work, again. I don't know why I don't go to work, I despise it I suppose? As I was walking, I decided to go to the apple orchard because I'm hungry and I want an apple. As I'm walking, I come across 2 girls working, and one was on a branch. I didn't think twice about it and reached up for an apple, and when I looked back at the girls I see the one on the branch slip. I run to catch her, or at the very least break her fall so she doesn't get hurt. I make it and catch her in my arms then fall, my sense of balance is terrible. "Hey, you should be more careful working up there..." I say to the girl

[Morgana]

Chasslin braced for impact, and the hard earth. Instead, she felt arms catch her, then she was tipping, on the ground, on top of someone, but safe. She twisted around to see the person. It was a boy.
"Hey, you should be more careful working up there," he said.
"I'm sorry. I'm usually more careful, but my mind was on...other things. Thank you for catching me," Chass said. She realized she was still sitting on him, and scrambled to her feet. For some reason, her face felt very hot. Was she blushing? Why? It was just a boy, right?

[Inas Veloux]

A few more hours and Inas Veloux is free to run home. She was sitting on a branch of a tree, picking the lovely oranges. She takes a whiff of the tangy aroma and gulps as if she can taste it. Today she had picked three bucketful of these delicacy. She looked at them for a while, images of the Capitol ripping the skin to find the juicy fruit inside. She felt envy and hatred towards them grew. These three baskets could be given to perhaps all the people in her district. She just sighed and continued on picking the fruits until there were five buckets of them. She climbed down the tree and began picking up basket after basket to submit to the Peacekeepers.

She passed various type of different rows of fruit trees. Apples, bananas, and even grapevines. As she walked with the last bucket towards the Peacekeepers, she saw a glimpse of girl falling of an apple tree from her left eye. She gasped and quickly ran towards her, but she slowed down as she saw a boy caught her. She sighed in relief, and felt the need to quickly leave the scene.

She hand in the last bucket, signed her name on a sheet of paper and ran home. Dinner needs to be cooked for father and brother, Gate.

"I'm sorry. I'm usually more careful, but my mind was on...other things. Thank you for catching me" said the girl while she started to blush. "No problem, it's all good" I say looking at her in a trance like state. Woah... this girl is like... just woah... I think to myself while shaking my head to try and clear my thoughts. "Um... hey... you need some help working? I'm supposed to be working here, I was just gonna go home though...?" I say to her while getting up myself.

[Morgana]

"No problem, it's all good," the boy said. He was staring at her. Why was he staring? "Um..hey..you need some help working? I'm supposed to working here, I was just gonna go home though...?"The boy got to his feet.
"Yes!" She cursed herself for sounding so excited. Why did she want this boy to stay so desperately? Why did she feel this pull towards him...
"My name is Chasslin. Chass. And I would absolutely love your help." Now why had she said that?

[skippy]

Yes!"My name is Chasslin. Chass. And I would absolutely love your help." Said the Chass kind of excitedly. "I'm Jace." I said to her. "So... um.... We should probably get to work?" I say as I fish an apple out of my pocket and throw it into Chass's bucket. "If you want, I'll get up into that tree for you?"

[Morgana]

His name was Jace. And he wanted to go into the tree instead of her.
"Chass?" came a small voice. Frell! Chasslin ahd forgotten all about her. "Are you alright?"
Chass brushed dirt off her pants nervously. "I'm fine, Frell. This is Jace, he caught me when I fell."
"I saw," Frell said. "Is he going to help us?"
Chasslin nodded. "He's just offered to go up into the tree. I think I'll go up, too, if you think you can keep up with the both of us."
"Of course," Frell said. She ran back to the tree, getting her bags ready to be filled. Chass went towards the tree and started climbing without waiting to see if Jace was behind her. She started working, picking apples and tossing them down to her sister. Jace was nearby, on the opposite side of the tree trunk from her. She didn't talk. She didn't know what to say.

Chass's sister came and was talking to us but I was barely listening as I watched Chass walk to and climb up the tree. Why? This girl has like this... effect on me... I think to myself and go stand on the far side of the tree and think to myself... After a couple of minutes I asked "Hey Chass... um... Would you want to hang out later...?" as I start blushing...

[Morgana]

Chass was fairly accustomed to the silence surrounding their work when Jace spoke. The sudden break in the silence shocked her, and she was grateful she'd been holding on a tree limb at that moment, or else she would have fallen. She'd already fallen from a tree once today, and it was too soon to repeat the experience.

Chasslin leaned around the side of the trunk so she could see Jace."Would you like to come to my house for dinner? I understand if you don't. We could hang out tomorrow instead, if you'd rather." She wasn't sure was she was asking. It would be awkward for him to eat with her family, she supposed. But she had an irrational fear that she would never see him again after today. She wanted as much time with him as possible, just in case.

"I'd have to go home and change clothes first" I say as I look down at my slightly worn out clothing I'm currently wearing. "What time should I come over? And where do you live?" I ask looking at her

Jace told her he'd have to change first, then asked where she lived. Chass was glad he'd accepted her invitation. Hopefully, Papa wouldn't mind. Chass would have to stop at the market before going home. They were running a bit low on food, so if she wanted to serve Jace something halfway decent, she'd have to buy more. They'd just been paid yesterday, so she had money for food.

"I live down the street past the market, in the little house with the red flowers growing in front. It's near the end of the road."

Chass was grateful for the flowers Frell had planted there, since they were the only thing that set their house apart from the others on their road.

"Come two hours after we finish work." Two hours would be enough time to run to the market and get back, then start dinner. And the house could use some cleaning up, too.

"Alright, that works" I say cheerfully. "Come two hours after we finish work" she continued. "Alright... oh hey... um... do you want me to bring anything? I could see what I have at my place?" I ask her.

Chass was very glad he'd be able to come. She hadn't expected him to offer to bring something to eat with him, though. "No, you don't have to bring anything. You're our guest. Chass leaned away from the tree trunk and started picking apples again.

"We'd better get back to work. We've only got about half an hour left, so let's try to go fast, okay?"

"I have a better idea, skip work with me and we could hang out for a bit before you have to go home? We could have more fun that way, plus I hate the whole... work aspect" What the fun... I'm a loner... A LONER! I've never said more than I had too to anyone... why is she so different?!
