FF1800 - MainHe woke up rather tired. His arm still in aching pain, but nothing too bad. Although Nyklus wasn't very smart, he knew an arm can't heal over-night, and arm can't even heal in a week. But he could definitely tell his arm was getting better. Getting out of bed is an easy task, but getting out with only one arm isn't very simple. It actually takes effort, and it might have taken him a good two minutes, as not only did he have a broken arm, he was also still half asleep. As he walked downstairs for breakfast, his parents were already gone, but he did have a blueberry muffin waiting for him. Nyklus felt happy, there was a muffin waiting for him, a sweet, delicious breakfast that he could devour in mere seconds. As Nyklus picked the food up [with his non-broken arm (of course)] the warmth of the muffin radiated, and made Nyklus' palm warm. He loved that feeling, it was like he just stepped into the tropical sun. The heat didn't stop as it entered his throat, the taste of a fruit and the warmth of the muffin was a great mixture, and it really brightened Nyklus' mind. He burped, and was slightly embarrassed with himself, even though no one else was around. He started blushing, then found himself acting silly and dumb, Why should I be embarrassed when no one else is around? Nyklus was often confusing himself, and other people. The mixed-up boy wasn't exactly smart, which just led to more confusion. At least his burp refreshed the taste of the blueberry muffin, it was like the muffin was trapped inside that burp, and letting it out let the scent, and taste, of the muffin escape.
Although the muffin was great company to the boy with his arm in a sling, he decided the outdoors could be a great friend, too. But Nyklus really didn't expect for the sun to be beating down so hard, in that case, Nyklus was actually thinking of going back inside. Hesitation wasn't always a bad thing. If you think about it, hesitating makes you normal - it means you actually thought about your choices [whether there's two or four-hundred], it means that you know the pros and cons of each choice. When Nyklus hesitated, it was fine. He had simply chose to go outside, maybe his skin would get a tan, or at least get a bit colored. He had to use his other arm to block the sun. Nyklus wasn't going to waste his time to go get an umbrella or visor, as he thought they were corny and somewhat useless. Actually, the umbrella would slow him down, and the visor would just make him sweat more. Hesitation didn't happen while he was thinking about those simply-bad ideas.
There really wasn't much places for Nyklus to go, as a broken arm meant he couldn't really Train, which he would be doing already. He could go into the garbage cans and find some colored-paper, but that would make people stare at him. Although Nyklus wasn't a shy person, he didn't like attraction attention in strange scenarios. The only reasonable thing to do was to go into the shade, and Nyklus saw a patch of grove trees behind a house. That was Nyklus' next stop for the day. As he walked over there, he realized how beautiful all the trees were. The petals falling down around them, giving the green grass a friend. The breezy-wind, gently pushing the petals off, as to warm them about the sweltering heat.
Nyklus approached one of the trees, and decided that this tree was perfect. He could gently rest of the trunk with his head, his arms not having to do any work. But when Nyklus looked behind him, he saw moss. It was orange and green, luckily, it didn't manage to get on his blue shirt, but he still touched it. He scattered away quickly, and approached another tree. That tree was already taken by another girl. And although he didn't know the girl, he was sure that she wouldn't mind him around. "Hey, do you mind if I sit here? Oh, and you know climbing trees isn't always safe?" Nyklus spoke with light words and a light, playful humor. He wasn't exactly afraid to talk to the girl. He wasn't a very shy person.
If Nyklus was the person in the tree, he'd easily allow someone to rest by the tree, but he didn't even know anything about the the girl, so would she think the same? Differently?
DONE!`
