(The first writing in italics are his flash backs, so yeah.)
Honestly, he wasn’t fond of watching the Hunger Games. The only reason he was watching it was because Daniella was in it. He hadn’t expected for her to make it that far. Nick never thought he had luck on his side, so he thought that she wouldn’t make it that far. But he was wrong, thankfully. She was there. The beautiful girl was living, fighting for the win. The teen actually started to think there was a chance of seeing her wonderful face again. Oh how he wanted that. As he watched the games, he’d basically yell at the TV, trying to support Daniella from afar. His aunt would occasionally come up the stairs and frown at him as he watched. But she’d simply go back downstairs without saying a word.
When the day came where Daniella ran into the two girls, a sick feeling came to his stomach. It didn’t look good for his girl. Nick just wanted to walk away and ignore the future of the Games, but he couldn’t. He was going to support her until the end. So he watched the fight, and saw that Daniella was taking a pretty bad beating, even though she was the one with the good attacks. But when Daniella finally killed one of the girls with a single girl, he literally jumped off his couch doing a fist pump. Even though she had just killed a girl, Nick knew there was a chance of seeing her again. And he was happy. But what surprised him was that she didn’t go for the weaker one. Why? There was Daniella’s chance to get rid of both tributes, so why wouldn’t she kill the other one. ”Kill her, sweetheart. Kill her,” he whispered at the TV as he watched. He wanted to see the end of the other tribute that could be the one to kill Daniella later.
The eyes of Nick quickly opened at the end of the memory. He didn’t want to think about it much more since he was hunting. It’d distract him from his kill. But it was hard, trying to ignore the Games, especially since his love was in there fighting for her life. Oh well, he’d just have to try his best for the time he was hunting. Standing up from the ground, he laid his back against a tree. He let out a sigh as he watched for his next target. But he wouldn’t find another target, since someone called his name. Turning his head a bit, he looked at the one who was calling him. Oh great, it was that kid again… Well, it would definitely distract him from the Games for a bit. Maybe he could get a decent kill if that kid didn’t distract him. But the kid brought a friend with him, sadly. Damn, he could just forget hunting for the day. Letting out another sigh, Nick waited by the tree for the two kids to see what they wanted. Hopefully it wasn't something stupid.
