My hunter instincts kicked in the moment the gates crashed closed. The forest seemed to get quiet as the lion mad spoke. What he said, I was unaware. However, I feared for the worst when I saw the guns in the receptionists hands. It was a cruel game these people played, shooting us one by one. My father neglected to tell of the situation. If I was to return to my home, I would surely complained to him. For some odd reason, I wished to be the last one down. However, when the dart made contact with my neck, I was unaware of who was still awake. I doubt I was the last.
My knees saved my face as it was my knees I fell upon. Once my body completely relaxed, I sensed I was falling backwards on the back of my calves. I think I did but I would not be sure. My head clouded as well as my vision. It was as if I was walking in a cloud. Well, it is what I imagined walking through a cloud would appear like. My vision was foggy, okay. I lost sense of right and left as well as up and down. When I feared my mind was going to close, I was afraid one last thing: How would my body respond when I wake. I hope not shitty.~ o ~
I woke to find I was were I usually was. In the forest. My eyes slowly opened though my vision did not appear correctly. If I lose the competition because of a medical mishap, there would be hell to pay for whomever was in charge. However, there was no damage because my eyesight did recover completely. The first thing I could see was my face. I was not staring into a mirror. I was looking at a chart. My picture was just on it. Still, I was angered that they did what they did. “A blindfold would have worked just as well,” I yelled into the air, hoping the some person would hear.
