I’m looking for a few good characters for Naif Malloc, brother of Cyrus Malloc who died tragically in the 61st games, to interact with on his wandering through the districts and wastelands of Panem. After his brother’s death (as well as the collapse of his family, which you can read about here), Naif left District 6 to free himself from everything he’d experienced.

But, as a boy that grew up in as close to middle class family as you could get (his mother a chemist, his father an engineer), he was never forced to have to work too hard to survive. He’s well educated, and after his first few days of wandering has realized that life is a lot harder than he thought it would be. That’s why I’d like him to learn through some “hard knocks,” as one might say, with different characters. If you think your character could teach him some kind of lesson, or you think you’d like to interact with him, just let me know what you’re thinking.

EDIT (CREDIT TO CHARADE FOR THIS LOVELY IDEA):

Naif is going to learn about the 7 Different Deadly Sins & the 4 Cardinal Virtues as some of his lessons. This means that each event in his life will mirror a type of "sin" to be learned. Whether your character is incredibly sexual (lust) or incredibly violent (wrath), I want Naif to experience different types of characters that reflect such dangers. For those that have "good" characters, you can choose one of the virtues. I want him to learn that people in general are messed up, and that through this he'll be able to better survive as a wanderer. I figure each person he runs into will reflect a different one. Let me know if you want to be one (or if you have questions)!

I will make this app all smart and nice and I will fill in the form but for the record if Naïf wants to come to D5 and meet with Clement and kill rabbits with him that would be nice. They could talk about their dead siblings even though neither of them really want to. Just an idea!

What you want to do with them:Well, Harmony has a very over protective love interest she thinks she adores completely, and I was thinking that she falls for Naif, realizing that there are more people than herself and her love interest, Caldwell. Plus, she has been a wanderer since she was 6 and could teach Naif about survival in the connecting-with-nature sort of way that she and Caldwell believe in.

Name of Character: Zylona Xanthos
What you want to do with them:: I'm not sure she fits any of the virtues/sins (maybe one of the virtues or envy) but she might be fun to RP with just because she's bizarrely clever and blunt, and she's got a messed up family life. She refuses to speak with her parents and brother because her family sort of fell apart, so they could bond over that. She's a year younger than him so there could easily be romance there. But she's also quite reserved about letting people know how she really feels, so... Yeah

Name of Character: Rubik Woodards
What you want to do with them:: Envy - This can be two way. Upon finding out Naif's identity, Rubik will not be happy. He ultimately blames Cyrus for Pandora's death and takes it as an insult that Naif turns up on his doorstep. He envies that Naif feels he has the freedom to run away from his past, whilst he has to live as half of a whole. If you like, Naif can envy that Rubik has a family left. There can be harsh words exchanged and/or punches thrown. Ultimately they'll either forgive each-other or rid themselves of the other.

Name of Character: Lydie Mansonna
What you want to do with them: Well, Lydie is the kind of person that no one notices much, but might just be the nicest person in her District. (District 10.) Although she might not be noticed by many people, at one time or another she will run into you and change your life in a small way, but in a way that affects you forever. Lydie is pure and kind and thinks out situations fully so that she can help people in the right ways. She likes to lay low and until only be noticed when she's helping a person. She's done many random acts of kindness in her life, always helping one person at a time. I'd like it maybe Lydie can run into Naif when he's feeling depressed and make him feel happier by saying meaningful stuff and being nice to him. And who knows, maybe that blossoms into a romance. Or maybe he can bring her with him on his travels and she can be his partner. I think that would be cool. I think Naif and Lydie would be good plot partners. I think she'd be good for prudence.
