((ooc: Aw, Peeta. Now Crys is gonna freak out, and then get mad at you... BTW, I'm taking care of my charie on your site after this post. Promise.))
Crys's eyes widened as Peeta came back in through her front door, instead of through her hallway, dragging her uncle behind him. She jumped up out of her sitting position and stepped toward Peeta, wrenching the man away from him. Her uncle was over a foot taller than her, and much more muscular, but these details all escaped her notice. All that mattered now was getting him out of her house.
"No no no no no!" she shrieked, pushing him back. He resisted, but not by much. His battle with the peacekeeper had taken a lot out of him. "You get out of my house! Get out! Don't come back! Get out!" She was hysterical, and she knew it, but she didn't even care. And the adrenaline gave her the strength she needed to push a man three times her size out of her house. Eventually she had him pushed against the doorway. Reaching around him, she turned the doorknob and let him fall outside, before slamming the door shut after him.
Then she turned around and marched over to Peeta. She was crying, but she just wiped the tears away before grabbing his shoulders and shaking him gently. "Peeta, don't you think that there would have been a reason I would have told you to ignore something like that outside my home. It wasn't just to protect Ivy and Basil! That was a part of it, yes, but that wasn't everything. I never, never, wanted him to find us. He deserves everything that peacekeeper gave him and more!" She wiped fresh tears from her eyes, turning from Peeta and everyone else. She was embarrassed, and she was scared.
"I'm sorry," she said quietly. "I just don't hate, or fear, anything like I do him."
