Biting her bottom lip Faith had to remind herself to stay sweet and kind, that was the type of girl she was and Jack's departure shouldn't change that...especially when it was the very thing he liked about her. And besides Doctor Bagwell had done nothing but kind a small compliment, she couldn't jump to hating every guy and expect them to be like Tom. It was ethical to take a compliment though her heart stayed in one place, plus it was even where her heart was suppose to be. "Sure do." Faith told, attempting a small smile before dashing out, clearly it was harder then she thought.
It didn't take long for there to be a knock at the door, another reason to take her off her tasks, exactly the opposite of what she wanted. It was very unlikely for Jack to be returning today, but everyday Faith rushed over there as if he'd be waiting, someone to finally talk to once again. On the way to answer the door she grabbed the envelope her Father had left, which held plenty of money for what ever the cost would be.
"Certainly will." Faith answered to the Doctor's order of getting him if her horse isn't doing better by a week, placing his asking price into his hands. Usually she'd give a tip as her Father taught her, but a week without the horse was a bit risky to be generous currently...maybe after they brought the horse back to her feet. At least she was still healthy, the most working animal, and the closest one to the family. "It'd be horrible." Faith responded to the Doctor's comment of loosing the horse.
As soon as Doctor Bagwell asked if her Father was around something seemed to have hit Faith, why would he want to see her Father? She gave him the money, knew just as much information about the farm and animals as her Father, there was no reason. Maybe Doctor Bagwell was more like a typical boy as Faith predicted, needing to talk to the man of the household to finish business. "He's not home, why?" Faith informed and asked. "I can leave him a message if you'd like." She added crossing her arms casually.
Just the front door opened and the familiar sound of old boots hitting the floor with every step indicated who it was. "Good afternoon." Her Father greeted, giving his daughter half of a hug before extending his hand to the young man in the doorway. "Is this the Vet?" He asked a grin coming to his face as to give a warm greeting.
"Sure is." Faith answered turning back to finish the dishes.

((OOC: Should I add some trouble on the way back? I wasn't sure if I should because I noticed you have a fight thread going on at the entrance of the district. Let me know, I'll add something to the next post if you do.))
