Nothing else in the world matters but that one person. It kind of sucks when you think really hard about it. I mean, I've escaped the fear for your life that every child gets every year. I got out of the games. But he hasn't. He's only seventeen and he could be taken from me any year, and the thing is, is that he wants to go. At least I know that he'll come home if he does go. Most people in my district want to go actually, but I never did. I mean if I didn't have to look after a bunch of kids then maybe. But, I had that responsibility and I could never have left them behind. And if Isaiah goes, and doesn't return, I don't know what I'll do with my life. He has his ups and his downs, and I know this. He's always in trouble, but that doesn't mean I can't love him. When I first saw him I noticed his hair. When I first talked to him I noticed his voice. I think that's what drew me in. I like that he doesn't care what people think about him. Turning around, I see him coming. "Here comes trouble," I joke. Ever sense a little after I met him I've called him trouble. His voice echos through my head over and over. It would be nice if time could just freeze, but I know it can't. I know that nothing I do will freeze the time. Sometimes I wish time would freeze because of the awesome plans I have made. But freezing time with Dev would be amazing. I would be able to spend this one moment with him for the rest of my life. One thing keeps me from freezing time though. Hylla. Hylla is my sister. She's the only other person that accepts me for who I am. She is my life when I'm not with Dev. I know where Hylla stands in my life. I know where Dev stands in my life. If I had to pick, I would definitely pick Hylla over Dev because family comes first.
