A claim is made. Despite all of Matthew's sorrow over losing, and concerns over the motorcycle, he's determined to be seen as a dangerous careers. It was simply another joke from Vy, but it's very common for them to be taken seriously. His reasoning is that he's just not stupid, and she assumes it's over the dangers of riding a bike on the icy roads. These tires are nearly the same aside from the fact there's only two of them instead of four. Maybe he has a point, then again how can one be daring without a bit of stupidity mixed in?
The following comments worth the annoying response to her sarcasm; try him another day, he'll show how dangerous he can be. He has horrible word choices that what would take as a flirt, but his tone of voice tells other wise. Just how Vy likes it she's one of the boys, being treated and talked to as she's used to. It's disrespectful to hit females, not when it comes to Vy though. "I'll take you up on that offer." She promises because she never turns down a fight. With that she takes off out the parking lot, picking up as soon as she hits the open road.
For some reason there's always a need within Vy to show off, especially to the ones trying her from the start. The road's all hers and she rides as if she owns it, going the exact speed as she usually does while alone. Just to prove her control she doesn't avoid any ice threatening to take them out, but instead takes them as she's learned to do. Plenty of falls and wounds have resulted in practice, but by now at the age of eighteen she has it in the bag. "Good job." Is commented from behind her, and she's pretty sure that's the nicest thing Matthew's said the entire time since they've met not too long ago. With a proud grin she simply exhilarates more, as if to say you think that's good.
A house tells a lot about a person, how they've grown up and the things within their reach. Within District Two nearly everyone has a decent life, but still it's different levels. As for a career raised by a teen mother, being a teen mother herself...well her transportation already says it all with its out of date look, though Vy's managed to keep it up well. As for Matthew though, he has to live one of the good lives within this neighborhood, even if his house is a little out-of-date. Maybe his parents are just old fashion? The directions are easy to follow and once the faint figure of the house comes into view through the heavy snow she slows down, shortly after pulling into the driveway with a complete stop.
"Chilly?" She questions with the grin returning to her now frozen lips. There's a sort of high that arrives after even the smallest ride. "Front row service." Of course she's unable to hold back one last sarcastic remark. The bike doesn't get bothered to turn off as she has no intentions of staying, and can clearly tell she wasn't going to get an invite anyways...she'd say reject anyways. "Hopefully I'll see you around at the gym." She departs with only because of Matthew's comment of them having a sparing match within their future. Good deed done, now to get home.
