Alex is quite full of himself as he tells me that he's just as good of a archer as his brother, who's definetly one of the best I've seen. He left two permanent marks on me with his arrows, one on my left arm, the other on the back of my thigh. I don't doubt him for one second and something tells me that Alex isn't even bragging.

"I'll bare that in mind." I reply honestly.

The thought of going back into the chilly water doesn't seem apealing. Especially not when I could go home and do much more enticing things with my girl friend. Just because Alex, Mr. Glasses is deciding to be the hot shot of the day I don't have to go back in the water right?

So when Kyanites asks me to throw a stick and race there and back I shake my head even though Tyren seems to think it's a good idea."That sounds good. Hey, you could find out who is the best?"
I shake my head.
"If Alex needs to see who's top dog we can do that next week at the academy. I'll take you in any field you want, big shot!" I give him a mildly sarcastic smirk.
"Today I really have better things to do that show you up."

I imagine he doesn't like my attitude too much and wants things settled right now but he'll have to wait until he wants real trouble.
