Vy Pryce
Age: Eighteen
District: Two
The weekends suppose to be the time to relax, not so much for Vy though. A toddler's not too respectful towards the need to sleep in. While Brooklyn's able to fall asleep within minutes, her mom on the other hand finds herself not so lucky. If anything going to the academy's her weekend, and especially now with the security that Kyanite's looking after the little one. Not many people are that devoted towards youngsters, but Brittany said they received a visit at least every other day. So the academy's not too bad especially with the ability to follow a schedule. She never pictured herself wanting such a thing until she met the one person that refuses to follow one even more, Brookie.
It's a sort of missing something while it's gone though, because come monday morning Vy's frantic getting ready to be on time. How she'd love to call in sick and return tomorrow, but that'll have her booted for sure. Hell being late might even. Something about a desperate need for sleep has her deep enough to not even awake to the sound of her alarm. It's not until Brooklyn's complaining about the loud noise and shoving her that gets her up finally. "Damn it." She mutters, hiding underneath the covers as if it'll actually keep out the toddler. No amount of rubbing her eyes helps her lack of sleep though.
For once silence fills a room that Vy's located in as she enters her dorm. Absolutely no one's home, which is odd on account she has three roommates. By the fact she's just made it on time she's assuming they're already off. Might as well enjoy the peace while she has it? After putting away everything she's washed over the weekend, it doesn't take long to discover that completely silence really isn't her thing anyways. Or maybe it's just the fact that it's making her want to curl up on her bunk for a quick nap. Gotta get moving before that happens, and what better way to wake up then getting the blood pumping.
Apparently monday's are lazy days for everyone as the entire place just appears extremely slow, for the cadets at least. The higher ranks seem to never be off of their perfect soldier act, always spick and ready. Must be a class for that. The three roomies are spotted among the waking cadets, jogging around and clearly having a small chitchat. From this distances Vy has no clue what they're saying but decides to take upon the track as well.
"Got two left feet Tyren?" The plummet to the floor is quite funny but Vy manages to keep her laughter completely down by the time she reaches him. Personally what's more embarrassing for her is getting helped up after falling; and treat people how you want to be treated, right? Everyone's raised differently, but she sticks with her judgement and only slows down before continuing her jog. She even manages to reach up to Matthew, though a bit of a sprint is needed to close the distances. "Aw, was I kicked from the running club?" She jokes around, assuming it's established that's the language around their room.
