Vy Pryce
District: Two
Age: Eighteen
Location: PK Academy
As soon as the message Family Emergency is given to Vy from one of her Commanders, everything that she was doing before completely drops. Main concern is the wellbeing of Brooklyn as she rushes to the office phone. Good thing she dropped off those papers beforehand as she would of completely forgotten now. "Brittany? What's wrong?" That's the only person that would call and title themselves as family. For all she knows it's only a strategy to get to her to the phone quickly, but she still doesn't take that chance. Surprisingly it's Kyanite's voice that comes from the other line. If only that lessened the worry over her kid as Ky promised to watch after the rugrat. "Kyanite, what's wrong?" She corrects herself and repeats the question, somehow she even manages to not have her voice drop from the fear invading her heart.
There's not even a second for relieve after Brooklyn's safety is notified. Because it's Kyanite's desperate words as she informs that she's in trouble. By now the little one would of been mentioned. Still Vy's concern only jumps over to the one she surprisingly calls her friend. Automatically the assumption that Jins is involved runs through her mind after their last encounter was with that creep. If only she'd of taken care of him instead of listening to Ky's demand to stay away from him. Sure a deal's a deal, but she could of prevented all of this. As shocking as it may be the desire to protect instinctively switches on in Vy as if her daughter was involved. "Where are you?" Most likely the call was for Matthew originally, but now she's too far in to ignore this situation. Plus she may just be able to get a hold of the guy before she runs out.
"What? Kill who?" Apparently Kyanite's in more trouble then Vy was even able to imagine. Before an answer is given the sound of a hung up phone beeps through. "Damn it." She mutters as she hangs up her end as well. Seconds later it's back within her hand though. As much of a jerk she may come off as being, she has a heart. Just as Ky requested, she immediately dials up the Commander for the squad that went out today. It's the most logical way to get a hold of Matthew, and after a lot of convincing she's finally able to get him on the line.
With no point in hearing a demand to stay out of it, Vy doesn't bother mentioning the fact that she'll be there. As if she was going to sit out on the action. Not like anyone's able to really convince her to do anything. Once her mind's set, she has to do it. As soon as the phone is once again upon it's holder she's dashing out of the room as if the building was on fire. Never in her life as she pictured herself so frantic over helping someone else, but life's been full of surprises lately.
