A drug cartel nestled in the crevices of District Six has been producing and distributing illegal delicacies for over ten years under the control of the Beauvallet family. With Osgarus in his third year running, nobody knows what direction it will take, but you don’t question it. You don’t want to cross the owl. You just want your money, your drugs, and your fun. You just want your life.

Osgarus Beauvallet – “The Owl” - Played by Cass

Business is in his blood. His destiny as ruler of the drug cartel has been drilled into him since he was a child, and with his father having succumbed to his terminal illness it is finally his chance to prove himself worthy of their legacy. His street name “Os the Owl” did not rise from favoritism or pride – it was a nickname he earned, for he is notorious for his intelligence, professionalism, and his polished methods of organizing, strategizing, and intimidating. He is hardly a scary-looking guy. On the contrary, he is normally calm, reserved, and one can often find him daydreaming at crucial times, like a child zoning off in the middle of class. But he knows how to do his job, and how to do it well. He may not be a violent man himself, but he knows exactly how to organize an attack. He knows what to sacrifice in order to keep his alliances and his wealth. He knows exactly how to be selfish, and that’s why you don’t cross the owl.

Amity Rainecourt – “Arrow” – Played by Python
18, Female, Biography
Greedy and proud, Amity is second in command of the cartel under Osgarus’ supervision. After her grandmother (her only living guardian) passed away, she was forced to either be shipped off to an orphanage/foster care at age fourteen or find a new means for survival. Grandmother always taught her how to make her own decisions, choose the tougher path and become a strong, independent woman, so when the opportunity presented itself she joined the drug cartel and weaved her way through the ranks with hard work and dedication. Now that she’s a woman with power, she has never been more proud or more intimidating. The arrow never misses her mark, after all.

Ingran Ansgot – “Crossbones” – Played by Elegant
17, Male, Biography
Known as Amity’s “puppet” (to his dismay), Ingran peforms all of the jobs she’d rather not do, such as collecting distribution information, travelling to production sites to check progress, arranging meetings, dealing with squabbles, etc. He originally joined the cartel for one purpose: vengeance. His parents were killed by some of Osgarus’ goons, and although he managed to gut the bastards that broke into his home and disappear under the radar afterward, there was still someone to blame for all of his suffering. He, like Amity, rose through the ranks, but this was only in order to get closer to Osgarus. He was forced to do some despicable things along the way. His nickname “crossbones” was earned when one of the production sites was at high risk of being discovered, so in order to test his loyalty Amity ordered him to wipe out the site and erase all evidence, including the cooks. He chose to gas them out, pinning him with the skull and crossbones label that was on the gas tank. People call him “cross” for short, but he still hates the nickname. He just won’t show it.

Hitmen

Gatrix Cavelier – “The Shark” – Played by Shrimp
18, Female, Biography
Every drug cartel needs assassins to punish the fools who can’t follow the iron law, and destroy the enemies that stand in their way of profit. Gatrix is the essentially the leader of the cartell’s hitmen – every decision goes through her, and every kill is by her command unless directed otherwise by a higher rank. She doesn’t suffer from a tragic background or hunt for the sake of a greater purpose; she is bad for the sake of being bad. She does what she does because she can, and she might as well since she made it to such a high rank. She rarely delivers kills in person – she has the henchmen below her to do that dirty work for her – but when she does, the only thing she leaves behind is indistinguishable shreds of flesh and blood splatters. For her predatory ways of killing she earned the street name “Shark,” and wears it with pride. However, not every bad bitch is completely cold-hearted. Even a creature as fearsome as the shark has its limits and its soft spots.

Mercius Verva – “The Fox” – Played by Loony
17, Male
Like a fox, Mercius is the fastest runner this cartel has ever seen. Before he was recruited by Gatrix, he pickpocketed and thieved in order to gain extra profit since he had flunked out of school and struggled to find a stable job in an environment full of intellectuals. It was the day he picked the pocket of the wrong person that he found himself in Gatrix’s clutches, but upon discovering his bruises and his withering will to live due to sexually abusive parents, she offered him a job instead of punishing him. Having a tender heart and a skittish, quiet demeanor proved to be weaknesses in the field of assassination, but he finds a way. Building traps, performing sneak attacks – The fox earned his nickname from his ability to put the “run” in hit and run. Gatrix rarely sends him out to commit murders, but when she does he is always clever and discreet. Off the job, he is practically glued to Gatrix like a shadow, and is her “second in command” so to speak. When he talks, he usually stutters, and remains silent most of the time for this reason. He is very observant, however; try to double cross the shark, and he will be the first to notice.

Kimbery Haute – Mantis – Played by Kiah
17, Male
Nobody expects a chipper man like Kimbery to be a killer. His overbearingly optimistic and friendly personality gives the impression that he’s a charming man with a bright future ahead of him. This is an excellent advantage in keeping his true identity hidden to outsiders – but on the inside, everyone knows what he is truly capable of. His signature move – earning him the nickname “Mantis” after the female insect (which doesn’t bother him because he like to crossdress anyway) – reminds the cartel that despite his friendly exterior, Kimbery is not a force to reckon with. He always, without fail, decapitates his victims, whether it be with a wire, an axe, a knife, you name it. He doesn’t do it to be cruel, he only wants to make an impression and keep his position in the ranks, or perhaps one day move up if the shark ever decides to retire.

Karella Grifon – Taser – Played by Nyte
17, Female, Biograpgy
After a lab explosion fatally wounded her best friend and left her deaf in one ear, Karella dropped out of school despite being one of the brightest future-scientists in attendance. Her parents couldn’t afford her medical bills and went into crippling debt, forcing them out of their home. A downward spiral into depression led Karella into a brief period of drug usage before she was recruited into the cartel. At that point she stopped using completely and dedicated her time to earning money. She found herself with the street name “Taser” after her fellow grunts discovered the little device she carried around in her back pocket, and now she uses it under Gatrix’s orders to interrogate traitors and enemies of the cartel. She is now notorious for using anything but guns to kill her victims, because any loud, abrupt sound will send her into a panic attack. Despite the gruesome tasks she is asked to perform, she hopes to one day earn enough money to buy her parents a new home, and get the surgery for her ear that she deserves.

Sabin Ulric – Twister – Played by Rave
18, Male, Biography
Somehow, this short-tempered deviant managed to earn himself the highest rank among the street rats, but it means nothing when he is merely a puppet. In his position as head of the grunts he makes no decision on his own other than which grunt will do what job. Amity, Ingran, and even Gatrix have him wrapped around their fingers. People often call him the cartel’s “bitch,” but nobody will ever say it to his face (unless it’s Gatrix trying to pull his strings). He became a grunt only because he got scraped up like gum on the bottom of a shoe, only because he had nowhere else to go after his parents kicked him out. All he wants is a chance to start over, a chance to earn himself a load of money, and a chance to take his anger out on ignorant assholes by twisting their limbs behind their backs. Why else would they call him twister?

Isabella Rodríguez – Blue – Played by Rook
18, Female, Biography

The only female grunt, and the muscle of their operations. She earned the nickname “Blue” from selling copious amounts of blue pills earlier in her career. She is known for being obedient, short-tempered, persistent, and as far as everyone else is concerned, without weakness. Weakness is something she simply can’t stand.

Producers

Tavina Broach – Thorn - Played by Arx
18, Female, Biography
Tavina was blackmailed into joining the cartel as its top chemist after she was framed for involvement in an illegal drug-induced abortion. Said blackmailer was killed long ago, but her fear of being apprehended still stands, so she enthusiastically continues to sit in their laboratories and make chemistry to her hearts’ content. Honestly, she doesn’t hate it as much as she thought she would. The risk makes it thrilling, and she would rather be caught making drugs than be arrested for participating in an abortion she had no part of. She is known for being the thorn in everyone’s side because of how talkative and obnoxious she is. Some say she and Kimbery would get along quite well, but she’s hesitant to interact with any of the hitmen, especially when rumors of Kimbery and Karella have been on the rise. She would rather just keep to herself and stick to the science. That was easy, right?

Name: Ele
Who you want: Cross
Why do you want this character? I would like to discover how death effects him. What is it that makes it so easy for him to kill when the death of his own parents drove him to the point of despair? The thing about cross is that when I first read the nickname I thought more about two lines intersecting rather than the skull and bones. One line is who he is as a person and the other is what he's willing to do to accomplish his goals. His final destination is revenge but I doubt he has plans other than those. What makes him keep going? What makes him able to perform such despicable duties? I wonder if somehow he has lost his humanity, the capability to feel anything other than a quiet cold. He is an automated man, a boy who is marching forwards only because he has to.
How you plan to portray this character: Oh gosh well oh gee ok

A lot of what Cross does is driven by despair and surprisingly enough, it isn't simply despair for his parents and their deaths but also for his daily life. He's the type to do everything with a blank expression, a cold heart but he feels it all very much, he wonders if the man he is putting a bullet into the head of has a daughter, he thinks about the women he's leaving tied up in the burning factories and wonders if they have mothers who will miss them. The constant sorrow of death and the sins he commits effects him greatly but he's willing to perform any task, to do anything to get one step closer to the Owl just so he can slit his throat and have him know that the boy he trusted is the one doing it.

He doesn't question if this makes him worse than the Owl or not because in the end what he does can be attributed to the Owl, everything is done by his command. He may end up in Hell for it by being the man that performs the actions, but he doesn't mind this. He is a hollowness, a blackness, a well of despair. Nothing really matters in the end, not death or love or happiness because to him all that matters is gaining the Owl's trust and getting a moment alone with him.

He'll put up with Amity, with people calling him silly nicknames, with blood on his shoes. They can call him a puppet because that is what he is, he doesn't care. In the end it's the abuser's blood he will have on his hands.

For all his coldness, all his brutality, he's highly sensitive, a momma's boy. He doesn't only feel, he feels everything, too much. He knows what he is, what this makes him. He knows that he is not the kind of man his mother raised. He does and doesn't care. All of the metaphysical decisions have been made, hesitations are non-existent to him. He'll put a bullet through your brain faster than you can blink and then go get a coffee afterwards, maybe read the paper. Maybe plan the total destruction of the Drug Cartel, who knows?

Why do you want this character?
i literally cannot. The development she already has has made me fall in love with her. Just how clever and intelligent she is written, her story and attitude really click with me.

How you plan to portray this character:
ok like, she's intelligent right. she's not gonna delude herself into justifying what she's doing b/c thats for weaker people. People use drugs to feel something, the same with Karella. It numbed her to the severe anxiety she developed after the explosion. It wasn't enough, however, and soon she could barely look at herself without seeing her weaknesses. Being an addict wasn't enough to keep the pain away any longer, and when she was recruited by the drug cartel she quit cold turkey. While withdrawals were unimaginably painful, she viewed it as something to make her stronger. She has no quams about killing others, and while some may view this as heartless or cruel, she sees it only as self preservation. A way to take care of her parents and herself, to improve her life. The power she feels when taking the life of another is a bonus, as well. She's spent all her life being weak, and now only the mention of her street name is enough to send shivers down their spines. She wouldn't have it any other way.

Why do you want this character?:
Well, I love this plot more than anything. I also find Fox to be an extremely complex and intriguing character. His backstory and personality seem to scream at me. I would just love to develop this character, and see how slowly losing his humanity will affect every aspect of his life. I just love everything about him and his personality,and story and such.

How you plan to portray this character:
Mercius is a child. With a heart of an adolescent, he kills others. The abuse of his parents has yet to wear away his childlike tendencies. He is curious, clever, and big hearted. His wall of antics traps his emotions, and causes him to face inner turmoil. The pickpocketing that lead him to the cartel is his curiosity taking form. He pushes down every detrimental emotion, and hides it behind a solemn facade. Deep within he knows he must some day face his inner demons head on, but for now he lets them fester within. Like a toddler he is quick to run when frightened, and loves to run from the spot light. Speech is never easy for him, years of abuse has taught him speaking is not an approved action. He is rarely able to speak without regret or shame.

Since his parents have depraved him of love for so long, he has been forced to turn to Gartrix for approval. His days as her henchman are filled with great admiration and love, in his heart he loves her like a child loves his mother. Extremely protective and quick to hate anyone who attempts to touch her, he looks out for her when her guard is down and is not afraid to maim others for her safety. However, when told to kill some one, Mercius struggles. Mercius can not stand to see others in pain, the fatal flaw for an assassin. His cleverness and child-like personality are what allow him to design elaborate, and complex traps to ensure the death of the prey. They are lead like animals to their deaths, and slaughtered in quick, merciful ways. Mercius never watches, he can't bare to see it. No matter how proud he is of his design, he refuses to see it in action. Long ago he made the mistake of watching his first victim die, and he spiraled into a state of utter despair.

An adolescent's heart is large. Mercius is larger. Truly a grown child, deprived of approval and love, he has begun to see the most vicious people on the streets as the people who love him. In his mixed up mind he truly believes that they care for him, and will protect him. His innocence remains like shattered pieces on the ground, but are slowly being swept away as he learns that one can not be an assassin and love the enemy.

Why do you want this character? It's really interesting to see her do all of these terrible things not because of circumstance or some lofty goal but because she just can. And she's got this whole "don't get my hands dirty unless if I have to," letting the others doing it (and when she has to do it she does so with such extreme violence), which makes me really want to dive deep into The Shark's mindset, ya feel?

How you plan to portray this character:
Life is meaningless, death is looming over the horizon and society-made morals are absolutely useless and hypocritical. In a world where it's not okay to kill except when you're told to do so on television, why should she care about death? People are already headed six feet under, she's just making sure that it happens sooner rather than later. C'est la vie.

Gatrix walked towards this life and never looks back; the power that it gives her to take and take and take makes the blood in her veins grow more potent and her nerves sparkle with electricity. Yet she's worked her way up to this position: why should she be doing all the dirty work?

She's better than that, she's better than this entire fucking district and she doesn't hesitate to let her "fellow" assassins know that with her icy stares and smirks as sharp as daggers. She's better than them, the alpha queen. And she's in charge.

But when push comes to shove and she's forced out of retirement to maim and slaughter, she does so mercilessly. How dare her victim fuck up so royally that they require her out of everyone to put them away for good. She makes sure they feel every slice against their flesh and by the time she's finished her rage has subsided into a simmering disdain. She'll kill any and all witnesses too - there's no point in doing her job if she doesn't do it right, which some in the family seem to forget.

Calculating, vain, egocentric, and submitting to her carnal desires when fit, The Shark is a force to be reckoned with. Yet her Achilles heel is what gives her the confidence to perform. She needs to be the best in the room, hates it when others are better than her in any way. It makes her feel uneasy, like the pedestal she's standing on is wobbling, threatening to topple her into the abyss that she's sent so many others before. She's not insignificant, she's a fucking hurricane and they had all better watch out for her sharknado.

okay so basically Sabin's like, the epitome of barbaric in a way - rough, ill-tempered, belligerent and generally not seen as the brightest crayon in the drug trafficking operation. most people see him like that as well as he's careless with his behavior, besides, it was how he was raised. he got his permanent underlying temper along with a few broken fingers from his father (always the drunkard that man). Sabin'd still have a roof over his head and significantly less money if it weren't for the man and his girlfriend. sure they fought but that's just how an Ulric shows they love each other, right. not just deep down was he terrified of the man, but they were family up until the day they weren't. one day their aggressiveness got more out of hand than just a lost tooth or a bruised arm and some hurt feelings; his father tried to smash a half empty beer bottle across his head and his father's girlfriend (Sabin never called her mom, never would) left him out on the corner with a broken home.

the cartel gave him a helluva lot of things other than broken bones and scattered bruises; it gave him a title more than just street trash. he was head grunt for a reason, even if the position came with nothing more than an imaginary name plaque to match, and even if he got the role just for his special form of tact, it was more satisfying than just a street trash. and that's why he's the cartel's guard dog. he's whipped around them like he's whipped around his position and being able to batter his collection out of somebody with a table leg or twisting someone's arms together into a bracelet gives him a sorta purpose.

okay well let me tell you a thing, first off who doesn't want to write a character so crazily awesome, like this guy doesn't need physical strength to be intimidating, it's like roy must and without all dem muscles and sexiness. Cold, hard and freaking amazingly smart and just that little bit ditzy, like wowww. Character so incredibly complex, who doesn't want to write a character that scares the shit out of people, but at the same time will daydream whilst he is in an important meeting? Sooooo much to do with this character, so much to writeeee about it so hells yes i want this character.

How you plan to portray this character: The weak die, the strong survive. But in what reality does the strong simply define those with physical strength? Not in this one. In Os' world it is mental strength that keeps you going, it is his mental ability and capabilities that make him strong that make him who he is, that promise the entirety of district four -- and the world, that he will not die. He will not fail his father's company and he will not lose to anyone. He's so smart, he's so strong and talented and he knows it, he doesn't flaunt it, it's a strong air that surrounds him that reveals it. Upon meeting he is silent and calm and hardly intimidating at first glance, but don't be mistaken, there is no innocence in those cold eyes, the air that wraps itself around him buzzes with energy and life and sings his song. He's lived too long to be foolish, he's seen too much to not know how to fight, how to lead and win.

Os' knows what to give and take, he understands boundaries without needing to think them through, he understands power and who has it and how he takes it, but that doesn't mean he is without flaw. You often see him day-dreaming, thinking of new things, trapped in his own little world. For a man like himself he need say little to get his point across and he uses his words to do his bidding. He is a straight to the point no fuss man and will not dance around topics, but saying this he can be as slippery as a snake, but in the end he will ever be the owl, because even the owl trumps the snake.

He dresses neat and tidy, professional, those in his drug cartel don't even hesitate around him, they recognise who he is by word of mouth, by his appearance and his stature and the way he holds himself. He's confident in his abilities and he knows he is capable of keeping everything together, he does not doubt his skills, he knows his limits and he knows his strengths and that's, perhaps, what makes him the most dangerous. You can't trick a man that knows everything about himself, you can't fool or win against someone who knows exactly how to fight because he knows how he can lose. Selfish, unpredictable and ruthless. He knows what he wants and he knows how to get it.

He knows how to make others do his bidding. He is the brains behind every plan. The owl that sits in the night. The silent predator you do not see, until it's too late.

Smile. Smile. Smile. A smile slips across my lips, hiding my thoughts like a mask of some sort. Always hiding them because what was the fun in letting them know? They thought I was almost harmless, always smiling, always showing the weakness that positvity brings. No one really knows my true potential because if they were to ever find out they would find themselves six feet under the ground, their heart no longer beating.

The muscles in my arm strain as I pull as hard as I can the wire digging into his skin, through the throat and wraping around the bone tightly. Climbing to my feet I give the head a kick and watch it fly from the boys limp shoulders and lad on the ground a few feet away.

okay okay now for real -

Tavina has always had a strong compassion for chemistry. For her, it is an adrenaline rush. If she were bigger and stronger perhaps she would've considered the lifestyle of the more typical adrenaline junky - however, being as coordinated as a 6 year old and as physically threatening as a baby bunny has restricted her to a more reserved choice of lifestyle. To her though, she lives a life of danger every single day. One little slip up in her math, one little slip of her hand, too many drops of liquid blank mixed with just enough blank could blow her sky high. And that knowledge is just enough to keep her satisfied with her life.

But be such a chemistry and general science wiz has had it's lows. Especially when it was so easy to have her framed for an abortion that never happened. To her it was more than some bull shit story to get to join the cartel. To her, it was the accusation of being not only a murderer, but a child murderer. Being called a "baby killer" took it's toll on her, even if it wasn't true, and having no where else to hide from the Peacekeepers, she had no choice but to join the cartel and create the drugs as she was instructed. At first she was resentful, often disobeying in her own little ways (mixing bad drugs, hiding some of the product, etc.) but that was soon stopped when the fear of being caught grew more imminent with each threat.

Her own personal blackmailer is now gone, but still she remains, finding the work enjoyable and generally safe as she is hidden away from the world and from those who might still be looking to lock her up. But Tavina had a lot of friends she left behind, her entire family, and of course she hasn't even been able to return to her parent's apartment for her pet turtle, Cyanide, so often she feels lonely in her work. She has grown used to talking to herself and even named many of the tools in her laboratory so that she had a few friends to talk to. This need for social interaction is how she received her nickname "Thorn" (though she believes they call her that for different reasons) for just how much she talks when someone - an actual living and breathing human being - walks into the lab.

It's true she can be obnoxious, quirky, and of course talkative, but what outgoing person wouldn't be after sitting alone in a lab after so long? She does still have that deep fear of being framed for a crime that will forever haunt her, and for this reason, she tries to keep her distance from anyone whose name is murmured just a little too often outside in the real world. If anyone found out she was associated with any of the people she worked with or for, she would be shipped off to the DC in two seconds flat. She needed to just focus on the science of it all. Needed to turn a blind eye to how illegal it all was and just how dangerous it was to so many people and focus on nothing but the pure brilliance of science.

(I will write more and run any more ideas that pop into my head by you if any of this changes but like is that enough for now? hopefully idek know anymorrre D:)

This isn't really an application thingy, so much as a potential plot twist idea?

I have my bbgurl Calliope Bloom. She's a hot mess in approximately 87089876586987² ways, but to keep a complicated history short, she's currently a rather extraordinary meth cook. She doesn't actually know much about the drug scene in D6 and has sort of been making things up as she goes along, so her operation — although small — would probably step on some toes... particularly these toes. Maybe they'd be interested in attempting to recruit her or maybe they'd want to try to shut her down or maybe rumors of her connection to the La Torre drug ring in D4 could get all twisted around and make her sound hilariously intimidating? Shenanigans could ensue. She's stubborn, mouthy, and in way over her head, so she can make as much trouble as she finds.

Then again, maybe no one would care about some girl cooking meth in her kitchen and this wouldn't work, but I wanted to throw it out there just in case! ^^
