Something truely is different this time. Something isn't right and it doesn't feel like those other times. The pain is accompanied with a lot of pressure pushing downward and It starts to hit me about the same time it does Matthew. Mira is going to be coming sooner than we thought.
"Are you sure. Ky... no playing around here. ARe you in a lot of pain?" I want to tell him that it's more pain than I ever normally did when I had those false contractions, not to mention the pressure but I don't want to scare him like I did last time and he got a little crazy with the driving, although Jeran has the truck right now. Again, a jolt of fear hits me. We are stuck here and if I'm in labor, then we're screwed. How are we going to get to the hospital anyways?
"It hurts, Matthew." I admit it openly as Brooklyn looks to me with those huge eyes.
"Baby coming?" Her little mind is mature enough to understand something isn't right at all. Not only that, but her eyes go to my stomach. "Baby, Mattew. Baby is here!"
"No Brooklyn. Baby's not here... right Matthew?" I ask him and lean to him a little bit more as I urge him to help me up the stairs to lay down. Maybe if I lay down, it'll go away and the pain will subside. "Just help me to my room. I'll lay down. Everything will be fine."
I walk with Matthew, while Brooklyn tags along with us and as we start to ascend the stairs I feel something pop and just like that a taletale sign of this labor is real. I stop right where we are and keep MAtthew from going up another step.
"Matthew... my water just broke." I feel panic stricken and scared at this point and look up to him and place a hand to my stomach when another contraction hits. "Matthew... it's time. It's really time this time. Where are JEran and Vy... we need the truck. I do not want to have my baby here. I don't wan..." I go to sit down on the stairs, curling over my stomach. "Call them at the center... call Jeran."
