I sit silently waiting with my stylist in the Launch Room. Minutes before I had arrived here and my stylist had helped me get into my uniform for the arena and helped put up my hair in a ponytail. The uniform was a white tanktop, khaki cargo shorts, an orange lifevest and wetsuit style socks. The Vest is a little uncomfortable but I can live with it. Suddenly I hear a womens voice telling me to prepare for launch. I step onto the plate and a glass tube comes down and surrounds me. I give Aria a small smile and a little wave as I feel the plate beneath me begin to rise. She waves back and thats the last thing I see before I'm greeted by harsh sunlight. I whip my head around and see I'm on an island surrounded by water and there are more islands in the water. I look straight ahead and see the golden cornucopia sitting in the center, glistening in the light. Claudius Templesmith's voice booms in my ears. "Ladies and Gentlemen let the 55th Hunger Games Begin!" This is it. I have 60 seconds. 60 seconds to get my thoughts together and set my sights on the items. I think about my family. I love you auntie, I'll never forget you, I think about my special someone Caesar asked me about. I love him so much. I know that even if I die my love for him will never die, even if he never finds out I like him. Now I'm thinking of my fellow tributes, do I really want to get out there and kill them. I know I must, the gamemakers want a fight and we must give them a fight. If I don't want to think of what would happen if we didn't. We are all so inicent and we dont deserve this but that's not how it works. My sixty seconds must be almost up, I ready myself in sprinting postition and get ready foe the gong. I can do this, I know I can, I'm ready.

GONG!
I'm off sprinting toward the cornucopia. Not a thought in my mind except what lies ahead, all the thoughts I had on my plate vanish as I throw myself head on into the games. Let the games begin.
