The humor tonight's providing is unexplainable. It's as though Vy's been granted with going back in time before she held responsibilities and problems. When the only things that mattered were training and avoiding the house. Except somehow she's gained a friend that shares just as much sarcasm as she does. For instances, their unspoken way of jokingly turning this into a hookup for Matthew instead of Vy. She has to cover her mouth to resist the harsh laughter boiling inside. Honestly, it's difficult to imagine Matt with a dude. Not sure why this dude's so easily convinced.
Just to keep screwing with the guy, Vy slightly gazes around when he mentions a pretty lady. Would much rather be called little girl by Matt then that. "Looks like it was." She sticks to her opinion of it being a waste, like her usual self. Stubborn to no end.
Why is it that guys can never give it a break? Girls take rejection when it's not even there, and guys take it as a game. But it's his suggestion of hanging out with real guys that actually pisses off Vy. Is he attempting to insult Matthew? That's only acceptable coming from her. "How about you get your head out of your ass, and go find your way back over to your real guys." Vy mocks with a stern glare and a cocky grin.
Finally he gets the picture that he's not getting anything from anyone at this table, and manages to follow instructs by returning to his friends. 'Least some men know when to take orders. Once he's gone Vy's forced to burst out into laughter, with a drink shortly following. "I'd say that was good entertainment." She grins at Matthew as if to say thanks.
