REAPING, ACTIVITY & FACE CLAIM CHECK

Our Activity Check and our Face Claim check are now open! For those who know what to do, please run ALL your ACTIVE characters through both the bio check AND the Face Claim update forms by MAY 26th OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CLAIMS.


For the first time, all of the activity, reaping, and FC checks will take place on Warehouse!

All of the check will take place on ripred.net. You will be able to submit characters and view the updated lists.

ALL REAPING, FC, ACTIVITY CHECK INFO IS HERE

If you wish to enter the reaping with your characters, please create a warehouse account and follow the directions. You can always reply to this topic or PM a librarian or Aya directly with questions. And for the ones that have the oh-so-cute question mark on their face, here's a basic rundown for you:

This is a MANDATORY check. If you do not put your characters though both the forms, your character(s) will be deemed inactive and placed into Inactive Characters; your FC(s) will also be considered unused and left open for others to claim.

Your character MUST be accepted by a staff member. Pending/WIP characters do NOT need to placed into the checks.

If you have a Face Claim reserved, you may not use the FC Check as a way to claim them. Please wait until after the check to claim them, when we open the FC thread again.

In order to claim your bios and face claims, please use the username you login with. For me, it would be "earthling" not "Kay" or whatever my display is. If you wish to use a nickname please put it in quotes next to your username, like so: earthling "Kay". Last alternative: if you would prefer, you can use your unique numeric ID in your profile URL. Mine is "1598". Any of these are acceptable.

If you have a tribute whose FC you would like to keep even after their death, fill out the form as if they were still alive. This will only apply for two consecutive Games after the tributes' death.

If you share an FC, please post a response here with the FCs you have shared (and with whom, if possible).

If your character(s) happen to be accepted during the check, it is your choice to include them in the activity bio check. However, NO new face claims will be accepted during this period. If you forget to include a new character in the check, that's okay - they will remain active regardless.

If you wish to drop a face claim, simply don't fill out the FC form.

Some characters have an approved bio but no face claim. This is entirely all right; just ignore the FC input line.

The purpose of this check is to check the activity of each character. So while it's great that we've done our job (ish) and already put your characters into the Character Directory, you still need to fill out the activity bio form.

Everyone must fill these out by MAY 26th and it will take the librarians approximately one week to update everything.

Questions and concerns may be addressed through PM to Librarians [cassandra (Cass), zarix (Python), charade or earthling (Kay)] or through this thread. Please check to see if you made a mistake before you post/PM.

IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE: With the Warehouse, if you've accidentally mis-entered your information for a certain character (or if that information has changed) you can actually modify it yourself with your Warehouse account!

The steps to do that are:

1. Log in (if you aren't already logged in)
2. Click on your name in the upper right to open the dropdown menu
3. Click on "Characters"
4. Click the edit button next to your character's name on the list. This will bring up the character's mini-profile.
5. Click on "edit" in the upper right of the mini-profile
6. Make the changes you need to make and hit submit.


Depending on the changes you make, this may remove your character from the reaping (e.g. if you make them too old) check.

xxdemonkittyxx : this check is for everything, from keeping your bios active, to retaining your FCs, to entering the reaping with your eligible characters. If you've already done all of that, you should be good to go!

Thanks for point out that defect! It's fixed now, and I went ahead and updated that for you as well^^

- Under your name in the upper right, click "Active Checks"
- Find the current reaping check
- Click on the little plus symbol under "add characters to check"
- Check/uncheck all the characters you want in (or out of) each check
- Click submit

I went ahead and did it for you, but in the future you should manage your checks yourself. If you run into any technical issues (e.g. trying to update but the changes don't go through, etc) or have any questions feel free to let me know and I'll take a look.

ahh thank you muchly! I wasn't too sure about permissions or whether it was already logged this is all so new >.< but for future reference i'll make sure to do it myself
