Wow, what a party that was. I was hoping my first interactions with the world would be more pleasant, but apparently people wanted to attack me instead! I guess I'll have to bring out the big pan. Oh, and this shiny stick. I met some lovely people, however, and we had a good time chatting it up so I guess it's time to at least enjoy each other's company for a bit. Or not. Who dares enter our friendship circle? At least I have my new friend, Pascal the hedgehog, trusty and pointy at my side.

Okay, I gotta admit. I might have gotten a bit heated yesterday when everyone started going after Remy. And truth be told, he was kind of asking for it – slicing people’s hand off from the safety of my head. And Nick – that bored expression as fooling no one. 

My allies aren’t to be messed with and I slept safely knowing that they have my backs…for now. And honestly, I just need to get back home because the Horde, and Catra, and Light Hope…Anyway, I’m stuck carrying this massive umbrella but it’s not like Remy or Garfield or Nick could haul it around. 

“Alright, little sir,” I yell up to Remy, gripping my glaive as our opponents approach us, the sounds of the waves fading to static. 

“Ready to whip up some beatings – extra juicy?”

Remy was a rat but also a wounded one. His poor little body ached like it was on fire and for most of their journey, he slept curled up on adora's soft head.

But then he got slapped again, oh lordt? When will the trials and tribulations of remy be over?

He stood up, tiny rat body shaking with effort and stared at their enemies. "SQUEAK SQUEAK MOTHERFUCKER" he exclaimed in great volume which is not very great when ur a rat haha.

Feels like he’s been running for days.

It’s only been about five minutes.

Years of running from adoring fans should have better prepared him for the physical strain of almost being killed but hey, he’s a cushy celebrity. You couldn’t have expected much from him.

He keeps running past shacks with broken windows and abandoned food stands.

Seems like someone didn’t enjoy their family day out.

It’s probably for the best – cotton candy rots your teeth like crazy!

He’s reflecting on his good fortune and immaculate oral hygiene regime when he realises he’s not alone. In the distance he sees three other females huddled together, heads of blonde bobbing as they run.

“Hey!” he calls out, flashing his signature grin. “Do you guys have any dental floss?”

Before they can respond, they’re attacking a group of intruders just stumbled upon the battle ground.

He thought he’d be one to shy away from confrontation, but Chip is already following suit without rhyme or reason.

He tells himself it’s only so he can gain their trust, make friends. But as he throws the first of his knives, he isn’t so sure.

Ugh. That damn rat.

So, I killed two people, big deal. The ferris wheel at the fun fair, now that was a spectacle! The wind in my fur when we reached the top was, uh, sublime.

And then ... I got chained to an inflatable boat.

How did it happen? Well, I don't know, but me tied to a boat, looking all disgruntled and stuff? Not cool, not even one bit. I hide behind Beast Boy the entire way, annoyed out of proportion, so when a bunch of those uncool guys from before start attacking the rat?

It's on sight.

The boardwalk is nice, and I love the tan that I am getting from all of this sun. I see people though, and that means we have to fight. I dont even get a chance to act before one of the blonds attacks me with their weapon.

"I guess what they say is right? Blondes do have more fun." I smirk, a flesh wound, but I dont care. It doesnt hurt. I am much more resilient than they think.

"Hope this knife feels just as good as my Harpy claws."

"that's right, remy!" watching him scamper around is absolute madness. he's so fast, but watching him i get distracted and when my ankle gets stuck, i can't shapeshift quickly enough to try and avoid the pain. "oh shit," i grit through my teeth. but when i look up the guy is going for remy, again, so i shift around my messed up ankle into a bird, dive for the guys eyes.

As a rat, Remy was used to being attacked. People didn't often like rats. He just hadn't expected to meet that prejudice here, surrounded by other unlikable animals and people in general.

Like shiny tooth boy? the fuck?

Who was Remy kidding, the man was a king amongst kings. His shiny tooth song was stuck in his head daily, he even found himself singing it last night when he was brushing his little rat teeth.

"Gotta hand it to ya dude," he said in rat french so it only sounded like squéak squéak squéak, "That is some catchy shit."

Penelope was not a person to fight but this was something she was fighting for and for her life. She just needed to do what she needed to do. She needed to put everything behind it. She didn't want to talk. She just put everything behind the moment that she was in. She took the weapon that was in her hands and gave it all that she had.

A spear buries itself in his back, and he’s never wanted to be home so much in his life.

He’s too slow to dodge the attack on his leg, but fast enough to turn around and lock eyes with his attacker.

“Ugh! Rat! Filthy! I bet you don’t even own a toothbrush!”

“But you do have great taste in music, I’ll give you that.”

Chip strikes, humming to himself as he moves. Shiny teeth, shiny teeth, shiny teeth…

That blonde chick is quick! The knife whizzes past and damn, I missed for once. Her knife doesn't miss though, embedding itself deep in my arm. I wince, teeth bared. It hurts, but before I can catch a break, another girl stabs my gut.

Maybe Nick Wilde isn't as perfect or lucky as he originally thought himself to be. Yes, I refer to myself in third person from time to time, and yes, it's time to show this blonde chick the real animal here.

"C'mon, Wilde," I make a grin as I pull out another blade, my fox eyes narrowed but handsomely - yeah, you know the drill.

"Let's go."
