Rusted Garage

The large structure has caved in on itself in the middle. Sheets of metal bent and twisted, crumbling into orange rust from age. If you venture past the jagged edges of what once were walls you’ll find inside a small haven from the sun and other tributes. The floor is covered in ancient oil and grease and dilapidated car parts. Engine blocks sit abandoned waiting for repair, tires are stacked up against the wall, mushrooms sprouting from the dark hollow gaps. Dusty tarps cover large machines parked in the corner and on the cluttered counter nearby there’s a rack with five sets of keys each one paired with a keychain of a plastic egg. The whole room smells like gasoline which can leave a tribute lightheaded and vulnerable. (credit: )
