Bloody Falls

Chunks of gore trail out of the Chapel doors, giving way to a stream of metallic-smelling liquid. Like an exposed vein, this river of blood rushes toward the cliff face overlooking and long, long fall. Dry amber grass makes up much of the bank on either side, obscuring the unstable earth beneath your feet. The mud pulls you in, up to the ankle for especially height-deficient monsters. Notably, this area feels more alive than the others as if nourished by the life stolen from so many others. Brilliant fields of bright blue flowers extend on all sides, up until where the falls begin. There is little bank at the bottom of the falls, meaning most of its secrets must lie behind that roaring veil.
