There are trees scattered through a wide and expansive park. It looks like it is almost untouched, but there is a large fence with decrepit body parts stabbed onto them. It's tense, the feeling of impending doom as you look around and see tons of weapons that you think you know how to use in front of others you think you are ready to kill. It's still incredibly beautiful despite everything going on within it. It offers shade and a place to rest and relax from the sun bearing down. It once was a place people visited for picnics, but now that doesn't happen anymore. Instead half broken statues and fountains are left barren, a large looming silver cornucopia sits in the center; shiny enough to reflect your image on it in weird expanses. You can see remnants of people still spread across picnic blankets and benches, their items like a memory of their ghosts left here. It's eerily quiet, and it makes it hard to find any sort of comfort. (Ryan/Tom/Ems)

More high rise towers pollute the sky as you try to navigate the maze of cars that are left on the street. If you stop at the right moment, you might hear something coming from one of the cars. You can't tell if it's static from the radio or something else lurking in them. Birds fly above it without a care in the world. It was once filled with busy shopping centers and malls, but now there's nothing. They're all abandoned. Glass windows have shattered. Doors are left wide open. Various items in the shops have been tossed around. Bright neon lights of old clubs that once had people waiting in line to be allowed in left barren. Graffiti covered walls left behind what looks like a time before when life was much easier, but now only remains as a reminder that something bad has happened here. The stadium used to seat 60,000 people from all around the world as they came to watch their favorite baseball games. It was once a lively venue where people put aside their differences for a short period of time. Now, it's in ruins. Bleachers have collapsed, the roof is caving in, the dugouts are completely crushed. Pipes have rusted through. Baseball bats, baseballs, discarded plates, buckets for popcorn, other food items, random pictures and papers are scattered throughout the stadium. The concession stands are empty and have been ransacked. Metal detectors are located at every entrance to ensure safety are no longer working, and they haven't been working for a while. It's clear that something happened during a game causing people to flee in a hurry. (Ems)

Icy wind hits your skin as you think to yourself that there is no way that you are going to make it if you take a plunge into that water. There is something that resembles sand but you are also not sure if you have seen sand that looked like that before. Grey and mismatched, like plots of it had been dyed and placed into random parts. You grasp at your clothes as you try to brace yourself for the wind, but it does not relent. You see something in the distance, maybe another island, or even another civilization, but after you realized that you are not alone here, it was probably best to not want to explore it. You never know what will come out of the ground after all. The water, while excruciatingly cold, might be the safest place from all that occupy this arena. (Ryan)

Tall buildings wind up through the clouds. They have weird arches and bridges that connect each other, and on the inside, they almost look like nothing has touched them. The hallways are worse for ware, elegant to an extent, it looked like someone had made sure to renovate the inside with as much care as possible. However, the moment you walked into the rooms of these buildings, that's when the facade ended. Most of the rooms were stuck shut by dilapidated wood, and the ones that you could get into? Well, they had nothing of value really in them. They all were just a distant memory of just how opulent this city once was. If you look in the right places, you can find graffiti sprayed where someone would claim that it wasn't that noticeable. “Eat the rich?” Yep, that's rich. (Ryan)

Buildings expand higher and higher than even the clouds themselves, you can’t help but to feel small standing next to these engineering marvels. The smell of chemicals and smog fill your lungs in this part of the city as large chemical plants and water treatment plants linger in small pockets surrounding these office buildings and corporate offices. Inside each of these buildings, the desks and other sort of rooms have been largely picked clean as if a number of other people have scavenged through here. How strange? Large billboards with advertisements for I.K.E and other sorts of technological advances spread throughout this area. Massive flickering electric signs surround this area; each of them showing the name of Aventura Inc. as if the name means more to you than any other corporation name. Eventually, in the center of this cityscape, you will find a large, expansive research facility with yellow caution tape surrounding the place. An eerie feeling lingers in your chest as you can smell decay and chemicals growing stronger in this part of the city. Better not stay long, tributes. (Tom)

Hundreds of cars are abandoned along the street, doors have been left opened, windows of some cars are busted out, any items people were taking with them are left stranded inside the vehicles. Some of the vehicles have keys still in the ignition, but the batteries are dead and not working. Trunks and cargo storage containers are wide open. Some of the cars have been rear ended by the cars behind them. What's interesting about the crowded streets, is that all of the cars are leaving the city with the occasional car heading towards the city. What were they running from? Where were they going? What made everyone decide to leave in a hurry? (Ems)
