Sunflower Fields

Has there ever been a sight more beautiful than this? You spot the blur of yellow in the distance before you can give them a shape — thousands of sunflowers that go on for miles on end. Maybe their vastness is only a trick of the mind. What is real, however, is the rush of joy that this area gives you. Everything is bright, warming you from the inside, and it’s nearly impossible to hide your smile. But you’re still only standing at the mouth of this place; you have not yet been swallowed by it. Step within, but walk with caution. Beauty rots the closer you get to its source.
