Betting
A. Members may place bets on the tribute (or tributes) they think will win.
B. The odds will be updated every Games day and will be based on number of tributes left, alliance, number of kills, damage score, tribute inventory, and location in relation to other tributes.
C. There is a minimum of $20 for each bet.
D. Members may also place the tributes in order that they think the tribute will die, and will receive a 50% payoff for each tribute correctly placed (that is, on a $100 bet, if a member gets one tribute right, they will receive $50) and a 25% payoff for tributes who are ±1 position.
1. These “ordered list” bets must be placed before the Bloodbath opens.
If you wish to place a bet, please fill out the following form:
Tribute Name

If you are betting on more than one tribute in the same post, please also include the total amount you are spending. Refer to the first post below as an example.
If you are making a death order list (keep in mind these must be created before the bloodbath) simply order the tributes from 24. (first dead) to 1. (victor) and include how much money you are betting.

List Betting
All money will be added back to accounts at the end of the Games. Please note that the payout has been updated: For each tribute in the correct place, the gambler will earn 50% of their total payout instead of 30% and for each tribute who is ±1 position, they will earn 25% instead of 10%.

Starting this Games, the staff are proud to announce a new, fun way to spice up the betting thread: Beat the Odds! It's a fun way for those of you who are reaped and miss out on the free concise bio you would've otherwise gotten a chance to get one after all!
Oh, that got your attention, didn't it?how it works!
Once list bets are closed, each tribute's average placement will be calculated. If the tribute manages to survive past that average placement, they will be rewarded with a concise biography! An example would be if I had an average placement of 24th, but ultimately get 14th place, I successfully beat the odds and get my concise bio! Keep in mind that reaching your average placement is not beating your average placement, though. If my average placement it 19th and I ultimately get 19th place, I did not beat my odds, I just placed exactly as predicted.
How do you participate? Simple: Write your tribute! If you'd like to help set a specific goal for your tribute to beat by posting your own list bet, go for it! The important thing is that we are all having fun, and striving to reach the goals we've each set for our tributes this time around! If you happen to beat the odds, all you have to do is link your finished cb to this thread, where a member of the staff will mark it off and its as easy as that!
