Sparrow Thorne
Age : 12
Gender : Female
District/Area : District 6
Appearance : Brown hair, brown eyes, light pink lips, looks like she's literally a sparrow. She is a really fast runner and she can outrun most of the boys in her year/grade. She isn't muscular, she can't lift much of anything over 10 lbs, she is small and in beauty, she is kind of pretty, but is fairly average. Many people are very sweet and nice to her and she comes from a middle class family. She prefers to wear a sweater and trousers a lot of the time when it's not a school day, because she has to wear a uniform to school. District 6 is up in the north, so it's cold alot of the time and she loves the winter and lives near a lake.
Personality : Shy, quiet, intelligent, has a clear and pretty voice, she spends a ton of her time with boys. It's very hard to get her angry without much of a cause, though she is spooked very easily. If she got into the Hunger Games she would most likely get betrayed because she would trust whoever tryed to talk to her and IF she somehow was befriended by the careers, she would probably be hiding beind them and cheering them on a bit to not only gain their trust but also to be supportive. She might even help them a little bit with their hunt, but only because she would track down the tributes. She is friends with boys because she can trust them to protect her more them some girls, though she would befriend some fo teh career girls if needed. Doesn't socialize with anyone in a less wealthier district.
History : Parents are Axle Thorne (father) and Elaine Thorne (mother). Is an only child, though she has a lot of cousins. She got an academic scholarship to go to a private bording school. She made a ginormous oral report/presentation on the history of Panem, all the wars, the districts, the Capitol, Saturn City, and the Hunger Games and all the tributes. She hasn't committed any crimes, minor or major.
The fruits of my labors are ripe
But I need a partner in crime
So it's about time I've found mine
But is he first in line?
I walk into my school, wondering if there is training for the Hunger Games, and make sure I still have a few apples for my teachers and coins for money. I ignore the constant stares from the other students. I head straight for my homeroom, and pull out a red apple. "Are you Sparrow Thorne?" My homeroom teacher asked politely. "Yes, I am. Do you like apples?' I answered and showed him the apple. "Oh yes, I enjoy apples much. Also, I am Professer Forde. I teach engineering." He said kindly. I handed him the apple and sat down in the closest seat to the front. Class starts soon and Professer Forde starts lecturing us about how the tribute trains work and how since we're all 12 and up, we might have the chance to ride one. I quickly raise my hand and wait for him to call on me. "Yes, Miss Thorne? he asks. "I have a question about the tribute trains. What would happen if they all suddenly stopped, or if they started to malfunction?" I asked smoothly, wondering if he knew what I was doing. "That's an excellent question, Miss Thorne. I don't know because that hasn't happened, and hopefully it never will. Does anyone have an ideato why that is, who are not Miss Thorne?" He answered sighing, knowing I purposefully asked that, since the other students clearly weren't paying any attention to the lecture. Every other student were confused at the question, unaware of what was happening. "Pop Quiz time!" Professer Forde called, and I knew he wanted to make sure people were paying attention. Once the papers were passed out I didn't even begin to feel the tiniest bit of anxiety. It was only about five minutes before I finished the test and turned it in. "Excellent job, Miss Thorne. I believe it is time for your next period, so you must get ready. Physical Education, is it? It seems it was recommended you participate in it. Well, farewell." Professer Forde said, and once I gathered my belongings, he showed me to the door and showed me where the gymnasium was. I walked out, eager to see what was in store for me.
I walked into the gymnasium and surveyed it. Someone walked up to me, and he was covered in sweat. "Hello, I am Carson Tesla. Are you Sparrow Thorne?" He asked. "Yes, I am Sparrow Thorne. How did you know?" I asked him suspiciously. "I've heard much about you Sparrow. I have had my eyes on you since you walked into the school this morning. You like boys? We got a lot of them." He asked, but I wasn't paying attention. I was looking at his blond hair, blue eyes, perfectly suntanned skin even though it was January, and his muscles that shined with sweat in the bright light. "Oh, yes. I like boys." I answered quickly, hoping he didn't realize that I wasn't paying attention to him. "Come with me, and I'll help you meet them." Carson said. "Sure, but don't trick me into giving you the answers to a quiz." I said.
"Of course, milady!" He said slyly. I laugh, and then sigh. "Why, it does seem we're made for each other. Is it just me, but why does it feel like I've known you my entire life?" I said quitely. "It's because you have. And you will." he says ever so romanticly. Then he pulls me out of the gym and takes me into the courtyard and then under a big willow tree next to the biggest so called Great Lake, Lake Superior. The willow's long tresses hide us from unwanted eyes and I look around, confused. "Why are we here?" I ask looking into his mischievious blue eyes. "You're about to find out." He says, as if trying to hide something. Then he gets down on one knee. I gasp, ultimately surprised. He opens a black velvet box holding a silver and garnet ring. "Sparrow Thorne, you are the love of my life and soulmate. Will you marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?" Carson suddenly says. "Yes, yes, yes!" I yell and then he slides the ring onto my ring finger. Then we hug and sit under the big willow for a long time. "This is a pretty spot. How long have you actually been at this school?" I ask, wondering. He sighs. "I think I will tell you that some other time." Then we stare into the sunset, the end.
