My name is Valentine, I'm seventeen, I'm from the Capitol. I know you're super busy, being yourself and all, and you probably get tons of fan mail, but I just wanted to write to you and let you know how much I admire you and Axel (more on that later).

I think I was eight?? Or something in the year of your games. I don't remember much, but my mom loves to tell me that my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined when you and Angel fought. So I re-watched it again recently, the eightieth, and you were amazing, you burned bright, even through all the dire, painful moments.

I love watching the victory tours to see the other districts. District Four is just so beautiful! It looks like it has this ethereal, shimmering quality on screen – sunlit by the glimmering sea. I really hope to visit someday.

Anyways, I hope Axel does well in the next round of Panem's Got Talent!! I can just tell that the way he ate that donut on a string – it was this really meaningful analogy to the trials and tribulations of life in District Four. He's a performer, an artist, and it's super inspiring to see that talent runs in the family.

Also, if it's not too much, could I get a shoutout for my Axel Morrisen fan page? It's one of the fastest growing blogs on the platform and he has a ton of fans <3

Annie was caught off guard by the fan letter to be quiet honest. Shes gotten quite a bit over the course of the last couple years, but this one?? What the fuck did Axel get himself into.

I dont even know where to begin. Thank you for your kind words. At the end of the day, I did what I had to do. Im just lucky to have Angel still here in the flesh.

When it comes to Axel, what can I say, hes a chip off the ol' block. He is probably one of the only cousins that I actually have a relationship with and while I did not know that he snuck off the the capitol, Ill support him in whatever he wants to do.

Hes been practicing his next routine. He keeps playing this song on repeat. Something about building a bitch or whatever.

As to your blog, not a lot of people here in four have internet, they are more sea folk and water locked types. However, would you think about creating a hard paper newsletter? That could maybe go well?

I literally screamed sooo loud when I got your letter that our cat, Spaghetti, hid under the bed. I'm so happy that you wrote to me and this is just proof to all the haters that you're truly the best!! Honestly some people are diehard for Ridley Le Roux, but as far as I know she hasn't written any of my friends back yet, and that's all I gotta say on that.

Do they play Panem's Got Talent on T.V. in District Four? All the stuff I know is from books and movies – like mermaids and pirates kind of stuff, lots of romances about sirens and ships lost out at sea. I didn't know that most people didn't use the internet.

Oh my god, thank you for the hint. I'm super curious now what kind of performance art he has planned this time. I did some astrological readings in my spare time, and it seems like he really has an affinity for the creative arts, considering his Venus and Saturn placements.

And of course I've attached a poster I made! I wasn't sure how many you needed, so I went ahead and made a few hundred copies that are in the box. Did you know Beatrice and Axel are in the same division for Panem's Got Talent? Ahh so talented, but I'm so nervous that they'll be going up against each other.
