opera house [atticus/nixie] year of the 89th

It'd been quite some time since Atticus Manor won the seventy-second Hunger Games, but that didn't mean I was opposed to getting to know him by any means. He was still a victor, and he still put in all the work that it took to get there. On top of that, he'd suggested that we do something I'd never done before: go to the opera. Of course, that was more of a Capitol thing, so I wasn't really surprised that I'd never done it before. I wasn't really sure if it would be my scene, but after getting some help from some Capitolite fashionitas, I made sure I at least looked the part.

I arrived at the opera house and went to where I was supposed to meet Atticus: near the ticketing booth. I made sure to get there early, hoping that would mean that I could pay for the tickets instead of him. I just had to hope he hadn't done so ahead of time. I had recently come into money, since that's what happens when you win the Games, so I figured, why not be kind and pay for his ticket as well as my own? Sure, he had money, too, but there was really no harm done.

So, I waited for him to arrive, and waved him down when I saw him, waiting for him to approach.
