If there's one thing a Bellisario is going to do, it's start conflict as soon as possible. Vanya's a feisty one, wired from Castle Game and hyped up on the adrenaline of all work and no play. Brutality is in a career's blood - there's no denying that, and what's wrong with a little fair play bloodshed? This is her excuse to not go back to District 2 anyways, so it's time to make lemonade out of limes.

Die hards play hard, she dons a bright pink whistle and blows like a train to mark her arrival to the training grounds. They've barely made introductions, but when you're a career you speak with your fists - let your swings do the talking, mate. Tell your strengths before your name, it's much more important. "Sup. If you don't know me yet, you'll figure that out pretty soon," she says, dropping the clipboard roster and picking up a handful of battle axes. 

Keep it short and sweet, "I'm Vanya. 3 volunteers- you, with the blonde hair, you're gonna be one of them," an easy target. She'll wait for 2 more to step forward, but it's nice to know who to start off with. "You can guess where this is going," she says, tossing an axe in the air and catching it by the handle with her eyes trained on a guy from 4. "The rules are simple: aim to maim, our nurses can take care of that, but no severs and please no insta-kills, 'kay?"

Not because it'd cost her her job, but because she doesn't want to deal with the head ache.

Or the clean up, yuck.

"Wait for my 'go!', and heads up- don't get caught off guard." She closes with a smirk. 

So who's up for a challenge?

hellloooo campers! this is an open 3v1, with Vanya Bellisario being the 1. Vanya's stats include 65 HP, 5 axes (ranged or melee at leisure) and 2 attacks per turn. She also has self-defense, but cannot switch weapons at any point. You guys will each have 20HP, 1 attack per turn (with 1 use of accuracy), and can swap weapons at any point. You guys can also swap weapons whenever, if you aren't being melee'd by Vanya that round.  

Once we have all 4 players with posted intro's, I'll post the go! to start attacking xx

Oh also, training rules: we're ignoring dice descriptions so nobody loses a leg here

I've always listened to Uncle Flynn, and when he said he wanted to send me to Camp Career, I was all for it. It was a new thing, and therefore a potential new method of training for anyone in his gang. He didn't want to send all of us, though. He was smarter than that, after all. He'd just send his most obedient: his most loyal. I'd consider myself to be pretty loyal to Uncle Flynn. He's never really steered me wrong before. I think that's because I listen to him, so he doesn't have me do things that'll hurt me as long as I'm decently strong and intelligent, which I'd consider myself to be. I've been looking forward to any sort of combat training that would come with Camp Career, as I always enjoyed combat training back home. Now was my first opportunity. When Vanya asked for volunteers to go up against her in a match, I was the first to jump forward. "Let's do this," I said to her with a nod, readying myself for the fight. I had my weapon in hand, and prepared myself. I'd fought quite a bit before, mostly with knives or machetes back home, so I had some experience. I was excited for this. I knew I held the risk of getting badly hurt, but I also had a chance of winning this whole fight. Sounded good to me.

Okay, I'm no fighter. But I guess while I'm here I'll take a few opportunities to fight someone. maybe it'll lend to be helpful down the road. I hope so! I've done enough of the arts in my life, and the arts and crafts building looks super fun. Note to self, do that later.

The Harvard house only really wanted me to go if I was only going to do the peaceful stuff, but they don't need to know that I'm going to do this. I'll bring 'em back enough bracelets that they'll think all I did was sleep in the art building.

Today I took the brave decision to approach the melee portion. My inability to fight also comes with weak arms. Sure, a flute has some weight to it, but I'm not gonna knock someone's teeth out because I play the flute all the time. That would be a nice benefit though. A training session led by a girl with this massive streak of blue hair. I'm not saying that blue hair indicates strength, but if she's leading a fighting session and has blue hair, she might be someone I don't want to fuck with too much.

I watch as she calls a blonde boy up and explains the rules. Three of us versus her. Okay, that might not be so bad.

Nurses will fix it up? Lord. That sends a shock of nerves up my spine - how hurt am I going to get? Well, I'm here already, and I don't really feel like walking to the arts building now. Guess I might as well bite the bullet.

"Let's do this," the young boy states. He seems confident enough, so maybe if we lose we can gain some sort of loser-friendship. Thats what happened with Panem's Got Talent anyway. "Sure, deal me in." I hope I didn't get a super heavy weapon though. I'll let her choose, she seems to know more than me.

Ah, shit.

The one thing about being freakishly tall was that I always stood out. I was always chose as the voluntell - I could never hide beneath the taller, the stronger. And Vanya Belliisario is fucking drilling holes into my skull - I wasn't that blond, was I? Maybe she's talking about someone else?

No, it's definitely you, freakshow. She wanted to make an example of me. An example that it didn't matter what genetics you were blessed with - that if you didn't have talent, you didn't have shit. That was what my Dad told me all the time.

This is probably why he sent me off. Didn't want to handle my moaning and complaining so he sent me to the people who wouldn't tolerate it cause they weren't their kid.

"Me?" I stumble forward, awkwardly, my hands intertwined in front of me. "Oh, okay."
