91st SPONSORS & PERKS

Have you ever seen a tribute from a lower district, or a tribute who only received a 3 in their private training session get sponsored a ridiculous amount of items throughout the games? Have you ever seen a career killing it in the games and seemingly getting absolutely no help from sponsors? Have you ever thought "well, that doesn't make much sense..."? Well, this games we are introducing something a little bit different: in character sponsors! Instead of money, though, these NPC's function as sponsors who each bestow upon one lucky tribute an advantage that is unique to them. Each sponsor will have different requirements for a chance to receive their sponsorship, and thus will be posted before the reaping to avoid cheating.

But wait... how will it work? Well, that's simple! It'll function largely like the site's lottery system: Each tribute will get three tickets which they can use on whichever sponsors they qualify for. If a tribute wants to stack all three entries in one lottery, they may, or they can put all three in different pools. Each tribute may only receive one sponsorship advantage, though, and their entries will be taken out of any subsequent rolls.

ALL IN-CHARACTER SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS ARE NULLIFIED AS OF THE TOP TWELVE TRIBUTES.

Tributes and mentors are welcome and encouraged to write out banquets in which they meet with potential sponsors if they would like! The sponsors each have small bios so you can get a vibe for the type of person your character may be dealing with if you have interest in writing it.

COPERNICUS FENWICK BIO: Heir apparent to the vast Fenwick empire and its underbelly, Copernicus is of keen intellect and notoriously wily. Copernicus has earned his inheritance thanks to hard work and skill, not to mention his vast network of people that extends all the way out to the districts. Gilded in gold like most Fenwick's, Copernicus is often seen at galas and other events, shaking hands and maintaining friendships. Charming to the core, the man knows just how to get what he wants whether it's earned through his tongue or force when necessary. He ends to favour tributes with more than just brawn and appreciates one with a mouth as smart as his. Just remember, if you make it out alive, you owe him a favour in return. COLT ROYALE BIO: Many expected they'd seen the last of the Royale brand when Colt announced his retirement from the District 7 stylist position two years ago. They thought that without the rumors of his alleged affair with client Jacinta Salazar, his view within the public eye would fade until there was nothing left of his celebrity. They were wrong. Colt's career flourished after separating himself from the games, the Royale brand galvanized and stronger than ever. His net worth is at an all time high, and where others would cut corners, Colt is doing anything but: still demanding only the best quality of everything from product to employee to, apparently, even tributes. When he was asked to become a key sponsor he accepted, but only on the condition that his money go to someone of the best quality- someone who deserves it. After all, it's difficult to focus on the appearance of a man who takes a seat and casually stacks a dozen gold bars on the table, aimlessly leaving them there to sparkle and shine and promise... Any sense of déjà vu is quickly replaced with new memories of radiant wealth and shockingly good humor, as he shakes every hand like greeting old friends and buys a round of top shelf drinks for the room.
