Falling Inside The Black [D-D-R-M]

The holographic simulation station was interesting. I've learned a lot from it, and it gets me as close as I can get to actually fighting in the arena. It lets me know strengths and weaknesses that I have, and it shows me where I really need to work. After running duo, I decided it was best to train on certain areas because I want to make sure I succeed whenever I'm given the chance. I worked for hours on improving, and I've ran through the simulation solo to see if I did any better, and each time I have improved, but I'm not where I need to be yet. I want to try again, and this time I'm wanting to see if I can withstand the hardest simulation. I fully expect to lose, but I'm prepared to defend myself the best I possibly can.

I walk up and talk to the trainer to let him know what I'm looking for. He nods his head and turns away, so as he's preparing, I reach back and grab a weapon. I want to try a different weapon this time since I don't want everyone knowing my weapon of choice. I grab a sword and walk back to the station where I step inside. He starts the station, and I'm running through it trying to use the sword, but it's definitely my weakest weapon at this point, but I keep fighting and trying until I get the game over telling me that I've lost. I don't know what weapon I'll be given when I'm in the arena, so I need to be prepared. I take a deep breath and step outside the area. I know I'm capable of doing this, I just need to regain control and focus.

Then when I'm ready to go again, I enter the simulator again. This time I have to be more ready, but before the trainer starts it, I hear him talking to others asking if they want to try this. I turn and look at them, and I don't think it's a good idea to try this with four people. I may not have an option though. I take a deep breath, and I move towards the wall. I watch for a few moments, and I think I want to try a new weapon especially if I'm going to have to go through this with others, but I decide to keep the sword for one more round. I just hope these people know how to fight, and maybe this is the perfect chance to find some allies for help. There's always a reason for everything.
